This is my second time at Champion. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Dr. Poznic gave a very thorough eye exam, more than others I have had in the past. Olivia helped me pick out a great pair of frames and explained my insurance benefits very well. This is my first pair of progressive lenses. Claudia gave me excellent advice on how to use them properly. I'm still adjusting a little, but I think her advice has made the difference in how I feel about them. I'm very happy I came to Champion.

The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Spent close to an hour with Dr. Jacobs who was concerned that I might be in an early stage of glaucoma. I had a number of scans and it ended well. I also got some additional help for my dry eye syndrome. On my previous visit I got some new glasses. The tech who helped me was knowledgeable and helped me make a quick and informed decision. I highly recommend Champion Eye Center.

I am very impressed with this vision center. To start, they have a great selection. I went to other places and all they had was old styles that were not very desirable. Here I had a multitude of choices with actual nice frames. This is a huge plus. My wife had a very positive experience with the eye doctor, and I worked directly with Joel. He was professional and patient, understood I could not be there for a long time due to restrictions with work, and accommodated my needs. Very detailed and thoughtful. I will be getting two pairs and be returning again for my vision needs. This will be my recommended place! Thanks Joel.

Staff were friendly and helpful, eye exam was thorough (longer than I expected but only so the doctor could properly do their job). I browsed glasses while waiting for my eyes to dilate and I was helped picking out 2 pairs that caught my interest. Costs were laid out but I never felt pressured to buy. Overall great experience. Try to arrive early if you're new so you have time to fill out some paperwork.

After having purchased a few pairs of cheap glasses online, I decided to get some nice ones The Champion Eye Center team worked together to address every concern I had and find me the perfect frames and lenses! I had a prescription for new glasses and am very happy with my new glasses from Champion Eye Center. I have a narrow bridge, trifocals, and must have plastic frames due to sore nose issues from the eye pads. I was pleased with the aesthetics of the frames I chose and thrilled with the quality of my new lenses. Nothing makes myn71-year old wrinkles go,away, but these frames look great!

I just got done going to Champion Eye Center for new glasses and contacts, based only on these google reviews! I'm glad I did, everyone in the office was wonderful. I saw Dr. Kilgo, she was very thorough and answered all my questions with patience. The lady that got my appointment started was so sweet. Dr. Champion is the best Eye Doctor that I have had in my life. Her enthusiasm for her job is infectious and makes you excited about your visit rather than dreading coming in to see how much worse your eyes are. I have unfortunately moved from the area now, and having to try to find another doctor, which I am sorry to say I know will not be as good. If you are having second thoughts, don't. The entire staff is friendly and courteous, and it feels like a true family atmosphere: the whole reason I didn't want to go to a chain cookie cutter doctor (and why you probably are looking here too!). Call them up and set up your appointment, and you won't regret it!

I'm Jay Sheaffer - Laura's my wife. Anyway, paid my first visit to Champion Eye Center a couple of days ago. We're new to the area. The building/facility was very nice. Dr. Kilgo and others I interacted with were pleasant. I appreciated greatly that they didn't hesitate to send me on my way with my prescription, including my PD, to enable me to order glasses online. Though all eye centers SHOULD be cooperative about doing this, many are not. For all these reasons, Champion will remain my "go to" eye place going forward. Given their nice attitude, I believe I'll at least check their prices for glasses next time and consider ordering from them...

I had an eye and refraction exam today and got a bad first impression. Although their refraction exam was exceptionally good, the eye exam experience was dissapointing. The Digital Retinal Photography (which they advertise on their website) is one of the reasons I chose them as my eye services provider (so I wouldn't have to be dilated). When I was at their office and asked for the service, the assistant said they offer that service only if there is something wrong with the eyes. Then I expressed that my preference would be to have pictures taken rather than be dilated. He said he would talk to the doctor. When I was seen by the doctor, she asked me if I didn't wan't to be dilated. I said yes. By the time the exam was over, the doctor told me she could have seen more if I was dilated! Is this a joke? She was supposed to take pictures with the Digital Retinal Photography system, but that never happened. The experience was very confusing for me and I am not happy with how this was handled. I expressly asked for the Digital Retinal Photography and did not receive it. The doctor didn't seem to be aware that I wanted it.

I have been a patient of Dr. Patty Champion for over 10 years. I was fortunate to find her practice for fitting my contact lens when other practitioners were offering only a corneal transplant to resolve my vision issues due to keratoconus. She is very adept at fitting contacts both hard & soft and I would highly recommend her expertise to anyone. Updating from my most recent exam March-2017, Dr Champion has now prescribed/ fitted me with a new cutting-edge technology Zen scleral contact lens resulting in the best vision I have had in over 30 years"nuff said". She probably is the only practitioner west of Charlotte capable of successfully fitting this type of lens.

Dr. Champion identified all eye conditions ever identified in multiple, but separate, exams by multiple doctors and further provided technical examination and objective data to clarify and resolve previous ambiguous assessments that had been presented as only "possible." The latter assessment and data removed long-standing concerns that I had.

Champion is the vendor for my work issued safety glasses. I recently broke my "normal" glasses. I went in to Lenscrafters because they were under warranty. Or so I thought. The Lenscrafters rep went from "They're not under warranty" to "The identical frames would be a $502 copay. We can't reuse your current lenses." So not only were my frames not reusable, but my lenses are apparently to old to re-use...? I walk into Champion, and not only are my frames repairable, but they took care of it for FREE. Goodbye Lenscrafters - Champion is the only place I'll buy eyewear from, from here on out!
