Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and they accept my insurance (Community Eye Care). They also have digital imaging capability for better details of the retina. Several lines of lenses are available as well as many lines of frames. Have not been satisfied with the lenses from Sam's Club (the focal area of the progressive lens is way too small).

I love Carolina Vision!!! I’ve been one of Dr. Carrie’s happy patients ever since she and Dr. Jamin opened their beautiful new office in Candler, with amazing state of the art equipment. Without a doubt she is the most thorough and knowledgeable eye doctor I’ve ever been to, super professional but at the same time really warm and friendly. She takes time to exam you carefully and thoroughly, explaining things and answering any and all questions, never rushing you through, almost like you’re her only patient for the day. You can feel right away that her compassion is real and totally genuine, and I’ve heard Dr. Jamin is exactly the same way. And what great staff, too! Everyone there, from the medical assistants to the office staff, is super friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I always leave there with a smile on my face and a spring in my step, knowing I received the very best eye care possible by the most qualified professionals, all in a happy atmosphere. Sure wish all doctors and their offices were this pleasant and enjoyable, and of course as qualified!

I had a fantastic experience with Carolina Vision! Everyone was so nice. The doctor explained everything he was doing as we went along. The lady who helped me find the right frames actually looked until she found frames in my favorite color. The ladies at the front desk were extremely helpful from the beginning to the end. When I came in, they called my insurance company to make sure I was in network. When I was finished and my eyes were dilated, they helped me get the correct amount of money to pay half the bill. I pay the rest when I pick up my glasses in a couple of weeks. Best of all, it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be. I can't ask for more than that !

Dr. J Quilla is awesome! My Dad and I saw him in his migraine center and we were very impressed. Dr. Quilla is knowledgeable and has excellent bed side manner. He was very helpful and I would recommend him highly. For anyone suffering with chronic migraines and or light sensitivity Dr. Quilla is the man to see. Also, WONDERFUL staff. I was referred to Carolina vision through the VA clinic in Asheville. The staff and doctor were very friendly and knowledgeable. My visit was efficient, with little to no wait time. Thank you. More of a suggestion than a complaint, I would encourage them to get the digital retinal imaging machine for viewing the interior of the eye. The drops are so antiquated and uncomfortable. I had hoped that this optometrist would have this new equipment.

They were able to do special testing for me, and provide me with special lenses to help with my migraines. I would recommend them to anyone needing specialized eye exams, with good care!

Able to get in same day for eye injury. I am so glad I found Carolina Vision when I moved here last year. I would never go anywhere else. Office staff is of the highest caliber. Very caring, professional, and personable. I had a one year-old with me and Christine took the time to distract him and hold him while I was getting my exam, that speaks volumes. As for my eye injury, I got the highest quality care, and was assured that all will be fine within a few days. A follow up appointment was made for two days from now. No worries when you make Dr. Jamin your eye doctor.

Phil made buying my first pair of glasses incredibly easy! He answered all of my questions about my insurance and different lenses (which was a lot!) and helped me get fitted for my first pair of prescription glasses and sunglasses. He also even helped fit my fiance's frames which he didn't have to do. My overall experience with Carolina Vision has been great. This is the best vision care center I’ve ever visited, and I have been wearing glasses since I was in Kindergarten. All of the staff are 100% top notch. Whether I have an urgent vision issue or just need a slight adjustment for my frames, they have always taken my concerns seriously and treated me with care and patience. Dr. Jamin Quilla correctly (and quickly) identified my vision issue after two other optometrists I’d visited in the 12 months before could not. The fitting team has been done an incredible job in helping me find the right frames for my face shape and budget. They honor their warranties and never try to rush me out the door to see another patient. Every staff person is courteous and diligent about making sure you are comfortably seeing 20/20. I’m so glad I didn’t give up on finding good vision specialists in town because otherwise, I would still be struggling every day. Thank you Carolina Vision!!!

Typically, I purchase glasses online, but I was very impressed with the sales rep. He was super helpful and helped me picked a suitable frame for my face. Everyone here, from the time you walk in until you walk out, are very pleasant. There was someone else who had brought a child in that was very nervous and they helped her settle. Even gave her a small toy. As someone that has worked with kids in the past, I would recommend this office. For me, they were patient and helpful and I will certainly come here for my next eye exam.

Carolina Vision is the place to go for all things eyes and migraines!! I have seen both of the doctors there and they are both patient and knowledgeable. One thing that I think sets them apart from other eye doctors is that they take the time to listen to what is going on and offer solutions. I struggle with migraines and they took me through their state of the art migraine neurology machines and helped me discover a special tint for my glasses. My last frames broke two weeks ago and before I was even a patient, the staff at Carolina Vision helped me get my current lenses in a temporary replacement frame until I had my appointment with them. Today was my initial visit and I was amazed at how much business this little office gets. To be clear, all staff members were diligent to sanitize surfaces, equipment, and sample frames between each client. They just had a constant flow of patients coming in and out while I was there. For the location and size of the building, I thought for years it was just a hole in the wall shop but that couldn't be further from the truth. Their set up, selection, and equipment looked modern and sophisticated. It goes to show that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. I'm so glad I gave this places a second glance because now I have a vision center closer to home. It's super convenient. Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to getting my new glasses!

This was my first visit to Carolina Vision and I was very impressed by the quality of service they gave. The pre-screening for the eye exam was very thorough and quick. When the optometrist came in I found that she was extremely helpful and explained every aspect of the eye exam In detail. She also answered any questions about my eyes and the exam in an easily understandable way. I would recommend Carolina Vision to anyone that is needing glasses for the first time, or anyone seeking to get an examination or just looking for a new pair of glasses. I would also say that their stock of Eyewear is very good. They have something for every style without having so much to choose from to be cumbersome.

I went to Carolina Vision in August 2018. From the staff to Dr. Jamin Quilla, I couldn't say more nice things about them. Way more deserving of a 100 star review. Doctor Quilla diagnosed me with Glaucoma, which is the worst thing I could have ever heard, but he did it so professionally and with such compassion and empathy. He answered all questions I had and then added more info for me to look at. I was misdiagnosed twice in my life. The first being 19 years ago when this first started. I was told it was something called "Degeneration" and told that I had nothing to worry about. Then misdiagnosed again 2 1/2 years ago being told that I had cataracts that I wouldn't have to worry about until I was in my mid 60's. Wrong again!!! So if you are looking for a Fantastic Eye Doctor and staff, look no further!! By the way, they have all the updated equipment so you can actually see your eye. So weird but what is needed to see disease in the eye or whatever else they look for. I wish my previous eye doctor would have had that. I am a "Lifer"!!!! Thank you Dr. Quilla and staff for helping me and giving me an accurate diagnosis!!!
