This place was recommended to me by a co-worker. You get greeted by a very friendly staff who are eager to help you. Tara is the gal that helped me pick out frames for my regular glasses and sun glasses. I paid less for 2 sets of glasses here than I paid for just 1 the year previous.. They absolutely deserve 5 stars for their service.

Great deal on polycarbonate for back to school. Glasses were done quickly and they fit the glasses to ear size. They offered us free adjustments anytime needed and also offered a one year warranty on frames. Will be using eyemart in the future.

Eyemart is always excellent. Great selection of frames and superquick service, as quick as 20 min, but almost always under 1 hour. And their warranty on frames is great, very important when you have kids that break glasses all the time.

I’ve never had a bad experience. everyone there is so nice and friendly and are knowledgeable of their craft. I get anxious buying things like glasses and they make the process very easy and they don’t lie if you try on a pair that doesn’t look good on you. By far the best experience I have ever had getting glasses!! I wear glasses myself and my six year old needed to get a new pair because she is growing. Her Dr. recommended Eyemart, we were able to go in and were helped immediately picked out a pair of glasses they measured where her eyes were on the lens and 30 minutes later I received a text letting us know they were done!! We usually have to wait minimum 2-4 weeks to get glasses and it was done the same day, it was also affordable and they gave us a great discount because they did not take our insurance and we were paying cash!! 10/10 recommend and will be going there whenever we need new glasses.

My co-workers and I went to eye mart on a day off to get glasses. Our insurance is very limited and eye mart is so reasonably priced it is less expensive than using our co-pays. Their service was professional and quick. Same day turn around is awesome and the Anchorage store enforced social distancing and sanitized everything. Top notch! Highly recommend. We can now order more online since our measurements are on file! I will definitely be ordering more!

Been going here for a while now and always have a great experience! Went in on 2/3/2020 left and got a text 28 minutes after I left saying my glasses are ready! That was lightning fast but everytime I've been it takes less than a hour to get them but love this place prices are great service is great what more can you ask for? I'll never get glasses anywhere else this is my home for eyewear! Just went 11/6/2021 same results as previously mentioned definitely my go to spot for glasses kid friendly too!

One of her staff yesterday who first assisted me showing her attitude being as she can’t figured it out how to fitted my sunglasses. On arrival I was greeted by a cheerful employee who escorted me to the sets of frames I had described I was looking for; I quickly picked out my frames, handed them over to the gentleman with my prescription, and in about an hour from start to finish, I had my new glasses and was on my way, AND the price was great! I give two thumbs-up for an overall positive experience. I absolutely recommend this place.

After waiting over 2 1/2 months at another optical places for my daughters glasses, we called Eyemart Express they were friendly, professional, and able to make her complicated glasses in an hour so she was able to see again. I will be reporting the other place to insurance and the BBB as it is totally unacceptable to make a child wait 2 1/2 months that is basically blind without glasses. They’re lame excuses as they messed them up and then lost them in the mail is just not good enough. Thank you again Eyemart Express.

I had a great experience at Eyemart Express with my new glasses. The associate who helped me with ordering my glasses was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Her suggestions for option and frames were very welcome. Allie (Allison H.) is a credit to Eyemart Express with her patience and customer service, particularly since I came in on 12/31 around 3 PM. The store was busy, but she was patient. I'll be back! BTW, 5 stars would be awarded, but for the fact that I had to wait nine days to receive my glasses due to the holiday and my prescription.

This was the quickest I have ever gotten my glasses. The employees took very good care of me from when I walked in the door till I received my 2 pairs of glasses. They even fixed my old broken pair. I received 2 great quality glasses( which came with a 1 year warranty) for a very affordable price. I was in and out a a very short time!

I’d recommended their services. Instead of waiting 2 weeks to get a pair of glasses I would have paid 130.00 for I went to eye mart and got a pair of nice timberlands for 110. I did spend an extra 50 for the scratch resistant lenses, but it was totally worth it. I went there a little later on in the day around 5:30 and had my glasses by 6! They sent me a text to let me know that they were ready and instead of waiting the expected hour for them I got them a lot sooner since it wasn’t very busy. I haven’t wore glasses in about ten years and it feels really good to finally have a pair that I can see out of.

By far the fastest I’ve ever gotten a pair of glasses. From the time I walked in to the time I received the glasses couldn’t have been more than 20 minutes total(for single vision glasses)! I took my daughter in to get a back up pair of glasses, the staff was friendly and did not pressure me at all to try and get a more expensive pair I got the two for $58 special and they had it done in under an hour. I live 40 miles out of town so they save me from having to make a trip the next day and drive 80 miles. I would recommend them to anybody as it is hard to beat fast,friendly and efficient. I discovered Eyemart Express last year when they showed up on my list of approved centers for my insurance, VSP. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are no pushy up-sale tactics and the variety of available frames is quite good. Prices for frames range from $20 on up to (I think) $200 for designer frames. The lenses are plastic, not glass, which allowed the prescriptions to be filled while I was waiting. Or, they provide text alerts, and you can shop nearby and receive notification when your glasses are ready, often in 10 or 15 minutes. I say the word “often” because their warranty is amazing. I am rough on my glasses and would bring them in for repair and replacement. So you can factor the quick turnaround into the equation when deliberating between glass and plastic. I am happy with the plastic lenses that can be easily and quickly replaced within minutes. These guys perfectly serve the needs for those of us that need flexibility, value and service. Really, why doesn’t everyone use them?

They are the best! A few years back I looked all around anchorage, kenai, soldotna, and I found 2 pairs there. Recently after sitting on one I came back and they fixed them no problem. They are about in the midrange price for glasses. It took half an hr for the lenses and they gave me a nice case with a cloth too.

They filled my glasses prescription wrong and because a year had lapsed wouldn't redo it for free. Because their location was far away from where I live and due to Covid restrictions I was unable to keep going back for adjustments, broken frame and inferior service in general. They finally decided to remake my glasses and mail them to me. It would have been easier and cheaper if they would have replaced the one lens initially. Oh well, I can't argue and complain about a new pair of glasses. Thank you for that.

I was very skeptical about this place and thought it too good to be true with all the great reviews I’ve read. But my experience was amazing! Very helpful. I was afraid they wouldn’t have the brands I liked or the quality wouldn’t be good. But they sure had what I wanted at a good price and the quality is great. I got my two pair within 30 minutes. Definitely recommended this place to all my friends who wear glasses.

Walked in without an appointment, was able to be seen in 20 minutes, and then in under 30 after that I had 2 new pair of glasses. For having no coverage of insurance, and having to pay it out of pocket, the prices for having all of the bells and whistles and new frames was amazing! Eyemart Express Anchorage - accepts Meritain-Aetna , our out of pocket was just $47 for single vision, non reflective lenses. I highly recommend this place if you’re in a rush or just passing thru Anchorage, this is the place for glasses! Hands down.

Brought my father (who has dementia) in for a pair of glasses & he was treated so well by the employee Tara who I found out later is the office manager. She is patient & so helpful! She picked out two perfect pairs for my father who is very rough on his frames. She found his insurance with just a few quick questions & easily billed them making it easier on my part. To top it off they had a special-Buy one get one free. AND both glasses are under warranty for a year. The front desk staff named Bella did not seem friendly or helpful, But Tara was AMAZING & the glasses were ready in 28 minutes & I received a text when they were ready! The glasses are usually ready in an hour. But we got BOTH pairs in 28 minutes. I RECCOMEND eyemart & will continue to bring my family there!

Great value and service. I wasn't happy with the placement of the lower lens on my bifocals. They redid them without squabbling, or charge. Was kind of my fault also. Next pair I get will be trifocal progressive lenses. They made them in about an hour.

Superb customer service, took me 12 minutes to pick out 2 pair of glasses for single vision . Took them up to Customer service and also ordered RLX coating for both, was from out of town needing to get back on the road home asap. Was told 1 hour for glasses to be done, left to go get some lunch and 21 minutes later got a text from Eyemart Express that my glasses were ready for pick up!!! WOW!!!! So, I am not going to lie. Every experience I’ve had with the Indian health service is horrendous. My income has not always provided choices. My Costco membership, has; I will take this place over all of them now. I walked in with the prescription, incomplete, they remedied the prescription, and my ten year old walked out with brand new pair of glasses 15 minutes later. My military discount did definitely help- but even if I had not been, this is the place I will always go.

I took my prescription in and was greeted better than any other "Glasses" place before. I asked several questions and no question was taken as being "stupid". Kara was my associate on this transaction. She was extremely professional and actually LAUGHED while doing business and was a asset to the establishment. I purchased two each of all the glasses. Close ups (cheaper than Walmart made in China.Two different eye scripts they were the exact prescription), bifocals, progressive (no lines), best fit I ever had, and straight distant lenses.
