She was very knowledgeable, and provided great opinions on which frames would look best for my daughter. We will definitely go back for more glasses as our family needs them because the service was top notch.

After 3 unsuccessful attempts to have my frames adjusted at a different place, Ellie & Maria were able to work together to FINALLY adjust them properly! They were both very kind & helpful even though I did not get my glasses from there. My bridge is very small & I was going crazy constantly pushing them up. I had even considered returning them, but their help allowed me to keep my frames that I love the look of. Thank you!! 👓

Steve who helped me pick my glasses was absolutely amazing! He was very helpful, but not overbearing. There were some glasses I really likes, but we're a little out of my price range and he went and found me a replacement set that I absolutely love! The girl who helped me with my eye exam (I unfortunately didn't get her name) was a total sweetheart and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I was running a little late for my appointment, due to me never being to that mall, I had gotten lost, so I called to let them know and Julie was so sweet and understanding and could tell I was very stressed about it so she gave me directions on where they were. All around a very great team and I would love to do business with them again!

I was having some degrading eye problems that set on quickly this past weekend and needed some emergency attention. This place was the only place out of 4 eye places in town that actually cared and listened to my issue and made an emergency next day appointment for me. Not only that, but the optometrist (even though she was virtual) was able to diagnose a rare eye disease that I apparently have and was able to refer me to a specialist and explained to me the next steps and what I can expect. Visionworks and the staff there really helped and I can not send enough appreciation.

This review is by far late but this place left such an impression I knew I had to review it regardless of the time that has past! The workers there specifically Steve were terrific. Steve is a great man and he was so helpful getting my glasses put together. Even when there was a mix up he worked late to fix it and get the glasses to me. I really appreciated the above and beyond service. The glasses turned out great too!=)

I bought 2 new regular glasses frames and 1 sunglasses frame here. The experience was great. They had a large selection. I went during covid and they were exceptionally clean and were taking all the necessary health precautions. The manager, Jennifer, helped me both times I went in and she was so friendly. She stayed with me past their closing time ON A FRIDAY NIGHT to help me!! I offered to leave and come back but she insisted on getting me set up. She even played the ever-annoying game of 'These ones? Or thessssse ones?' with me lol. Which is to say she helped me pick a good look. I really love my new glasses and they came in 4 business days.

I would highly recommend visionworks! I went to them for the first time about 2 weeks ago, and got an eye exam and new glasses. Couldn't be happier! Dr. Carol is so nice, and she explains everything in great detail. Best eye exam experience I've had. Picking out frames is just as nice. Everyone is very kind and helpful, and the selection is excellent; lots of styles and even sizes to fit any size face. I'm very happy with my experience and my new glasses! :)

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Me and my mother have been trying to find glasses for a while now we have gone to about five different eyeglass stores and this store definitely stood out! As soon as we walked in we were welcomed with the friendly staff! STEVE WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! He made us feel so comfortable , we weren't pressured, forced, or rushed with our decision to pick glasses and lenses out. We were able to joke around with him and it was honestly like just talking to a friend about what we needed and wanted in our eye glass wear. He worked with our budget, and our personal needs to help us choose the perfect lens for us and he even answered all the tons of questions we had! I have horrible vision so automatically I figured even with my insurance I was going to spend more than $400-$600 on my glasses. However Steve explained my benefits to me and I only ended up spending about $190! I got amazing frames and the best and newest lenses!

This was my first time visiting Visionworks. Everyone from the doctor and his staff to the people in the optical were great. Very friendly and helpful. And to top it off they were having a great sale. I was able to get three pairs of glasses and an exam for just over $300. I will be back for sure next time.

My eye exam was in January-ish and I am barely reviewing my experience now in June. Better late than never. This is my second eye exam here at VW and each time was fast and efficient. There are a lot of eyeglasses to chose from for men and women. Less than a week, I received notice that my glasses were ready and the employee that assisted me helped create the perfect fit for me. I appreciate the quick and convenient service for a busy mom.

I was prepared for bifocals along with an elderly pack (ointment, a cane complete with a tennis ball, and a sassy attitude), however Dr. Van Kesteren and Idali were both very reassuring that I could just keep the sassy attitude. I enjoyed their professionalism, but more importantly it was nice to be treated with warmth and stellar customer service. Dr. Van Kesteren is attentive, actively listens and truly seems to enjoy patient care. Idali took her time to explain everything to me and helped me pick out the right frames for my face. I enjoyed Idali's sincerity, and was impressed with how knowledgeable she is with all of the vision plans, and advised me on how best to maximize the benefits from my own plan. I highly recommend this place for both the service, and staff.

I was out in Albuquerque visiting family and had new bifocal contacts,one of the contacts tore. I didn't have a replacement. The staff was very helpful they did not have the brand prescribed to me and they gave me not one but 2 sets of contacts of different brands so I could try them at no cost. Steve, the tech has always greeted me by name when I go in. He now helps up front with sales and service. He is always friendly, and takes that extra step to get your glasses to you as quick as possible. There are other Visionworks in Albuquerque, but I always go to the west side because of his service.

Dr Vigil and his staff were great. I (and my family) had been a patient of another doctor for the last 14 years or so, until he retired. I hate going to new doctors, but he and his staff made it painless! They also took my insurance (BCBS), and everything that was normally covered in the past, was covered here as well. I've had VSP, Delta, and now BCBS - everything the other plans covered in the past, Dr Vigil's office accepted...so no surprises. My family will be seeing him too!

Dr. Vigil is the best! I've been to various optometrists in Abq. and Dr. Vigil is the only one who has ever taken the time to explain everything he's checking from start to finish. I even took my 4 yr old to him for a second opinion and I'm glad I did. His prescription for her was way different than the first place. I will not be using any other optometrist. I will however be taking my prescription elsewhere. Glasses there are pretty pricey. Sam's Club has great prices on frames.
