Great experience start to finish. During the exam, my baby wouldn't stop crying and an employee actually shook her rattle for her so I could finish up. Super sweet. Picking out glasses was also a great experience. I wasn't sure what I wanted, so the employee helped price things out for me within my budget. I came back another day and purchased two pairs. The quality is great. When the fit of one didn't work for me, I took it back and got a new frame and lens hassle free. Each time I ordered glasses, they were done same day, if not the same hour. The third pair, within ten minutes. Great experience overall. : )

I've never had any issues w my eyes but about a month ago they started watering non stop and being very uncomfortable. I tried to make an appointment somewhere else and was told I couldn't get an appointment for over a month. I called them and they got me in right away! It only took the doctor 2 minutes to realize I had an infection an prescribe me some eye drops. I felt better the same day and can't thank them enough for the relief in feeling. Everyone was so nice and I can't recommend them enough! Thank you!!!

My family has been going to Dr. Mamdani for several years. I appreciate the weekend and evening hours. The longest I've had to wait for an appointment was two weeks. Dr. Mamdani always takes time to review everything and will answer all questions in a way that's understandable. She's very personable and my children feel at ease with her. The one downside is the optical shop. The selection has not been as expansive as in the past and feels dated.

I have been going to Eyeworks for many years. While the front desk staff efficiency has varied over the years (this is not uncommon in my experience in NM), the care I get from Dr. Mamdani is always excellent. She takes her time and gives personalized attention. I don't buy glasses here so I can't comment on that, but the care I receive from Dr. Mamdani is top notch. I went recently (2021) and everyone was masked, front desk staff were pleasant and efficient and answered all my questions, there were minimal people in the shop (unlike another optometrist I had to go to while out of town during the pandemic whose shop was filled with people!), I had a minimal wait, left with my new prescription and options for contacts or glasses. I will be back.

About ten years ago I failed my vision test while renewing my driver's license. Like most people, I need my driver's license and I really didn't know what to do. I knew that the ophthalmologist I saw for my diabetes was always backed up and wouldn't be able to see me before my driver's license expired. I also wasn't happy with that clinic. I took the Vision Report that was handed to me at the MVD, and I just happened to see the Eyeworks Optometry clinic on my way home to have a good cry. I postponed the cry and decided to take a chance and I went into Eyeworks Optometry. I'm so glad that I did! That's when I met Dr. Mamdani. Not only did she give me a complete eye check-up, she was able to fill out the MVD Vision Report so I could resume renewing my driver's license. But that's not all that she did. Because I'm diabetic, Dr. Mamdani also referred me to an ophthalmologist so I could have my eyes checked further in a timely fashion. I've been going to Dr. Mamdani every year since. She really does give her patients the very best care that she can. I highly recommend Dr. Mamdani and her Eyeworks Optometry clinic. Also, the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. And... by the way, that's where I've purchased some of the very best glasses I've ever had!! I am a real person and a very satisfied customer!

Revised: 5 stars. I had a horrible experience, but Dr. Mamdani was quick to respond and make the situation so much better. Thank you so much! It definitely makes a huge difference! The doctor, she is amazing! Definitely the best I've seen her for so many years. But today was the worst customer service I ever received from the staff. I went in to look for glasses, no one asked if i needed help. It was about 15 minutes til I asked a staff member if I could look at a pair behind the glass. The 2 ladies behind the counter sighed very loudly (rude) and got the ones I looked for. Then the nurse looks at me up and down and asks if I have insurance and how I'm paying. Then once I found a pair, the woman with dark hair and glasses helped me and she made me feel like I was a huge inconvenience. The lack of professionalism, customer service, and just a friendly worker was ridiculous. I got my glasses & contacts ordered, but that was the worst experience I ever had. May consider going somewhere else after that.

This place is great I have VSP insurance and it's so easy to use here, it makes my glasses purchase so affordable. Staff is great never have I had to wait for my appointment, or for help when selecting frames, and they are very accommodating if you need to maybe say move your appointment time a little. Also Dr Mamdani is amazing I never stress when it comes time to make my yearly eye appointment.

My family and I absolutely love going to Dr. Mamdani. She and her staff are always extremely helpful and courteous. They make you feel welcome the moment you walk in the door. Upon arriving there, they informed me of a problem with my sons insurance. I informed that we would pay cash no problem. Even so, the staff, particularly the pregnant woman, really went above and beyond to see if she could find a way for our insurance to help us. Also, my son has cognitive issues and Dr. Mamdani was very understanding and patient. My son tends to feel stressed in these types of interactions. However, he expressed his like for her, which is rare with any Doctor. We will continue to see her for our vision needs and recommend her highly.

I took my wife in last Friday for an exam and glasses. We got her first pair of glasses there about 4 or 5 years ago. She was happy with the glasses she got then and wanted to go back. They have new equipment that my wife was impressed with. The entire staff were all friendly, prompt and courteous. They did insurance pre-screening ahead of time, and gave us an appointment confirmation call. The waiting period when she arrived was short. The doctor and staff were very thorough in the exam and the extra test my wife had done. The glasses have been ordered and we're sure they will be just what she needed. Overall, both experiences were pleasant.and we will certainly be recommending them and returning ourselves.

Called on a Friday they were able to schedule me on Saturday morning. I called Saturday morning to confirm my time and they were able to move my appointment early! I have never had a problem with waiting too long, because they don't triple book their doctors. I love that they can track my vision and eye map with modern technology which is more accurate and on permanent record for reference. Dr. M and they staff are great! They have never seemed uninterested or lacking the knowledge to schedule me or my family, or answer my private insurance questions which was not a problem because like most insurance coverage you are allowed a yearly exam. All was explained to completion and fully, I might add. Information about my eye health and changes was thorough. I would recommend this location to anyone who works and needs to schedule ahead of time and not wait for inordinate amounts of time to be seen by your doctor. Again, they don't triple book their patients like Eye Associates which is frustratingly like Prugatory, almost there, but not quite. es is old fashioned and E.S. had the mind set that a huge office staff, dialating with drops and waiting to be seen for hours on your time off is the way to go; if your retired or, not working it could be fine, but not if you actually have a full-time job, family and a life. I want to thank all the time and effort for the staff and doctors at both associated locations NW and NE.

Overall purchasing a new pair of glasses was pretty pleasant; however I do have to agree with some of the other reviews. The customer service is non-existent. After paying for my glasses, I was told that I would be called when they were ready. The representative never once told me that my lenses were not in stock and what they meant by call, was that I would be called by a rep within 7-10 business days.. So being me.. I sat in the waiting area for a good 45 minutes until someone finally asked me why I was still there, which was when they decided to explain that my lenses were not in stock. Being in the customer service field, there is always a need to thoroughly explain situations. People don't just assume that their lenses are out of stock when the previous conversation was about how long it typically takes for the glasses to be ready, which was about an hour.. Communication is key people.

The only issues i have is that i was charged $10 extra just because i used my own frames. They also made me sign a paper that says if they damaged or lost my frames i would not hold them responsible regardless if i used my own frames or bought them there.

Eye works on Coors and Montano was very friendly and professional. They helped me pick out my glasses and explained the various types of lenses, with there benefits. Everyone was very nice and I love they don't need to dilate your eyes for a full exam. They use computers and you get to see a picture of what's going on in your eye as the doctor explains it. New glasses and frames took about 24 hours
