After years of searching I think I finally found the best Optometrist! For starters if you are a busy bee like me and can't find the time to make a call they offer a text messaging system. It has made a lot of things easier. The eye exams are so detailed and they actually explain things to you and make sure all questions are answered. In the past I have always been rushed and never know what they are talking about. I have been going here a couple years now and I have never had an issue with my prescriptions. Recently I had a minor billing issue and it was resolved through texting within minutes! I love their customer support! Highly recommend!

After appointments with several medical eye doctors in Europe and the USA, I was getting desperate, because no one really helped me and my dry eye symptoms just kept getting worse to where I could not lead a normal life anymore. Dr Morgan was the first doctor who was able to help me and make a difference in the severity of my symptoms, and through that gave me hope that I will be able to manage this disease. I scratched up my glasses a week into a new job 😞, I forgot I wasn't suppose to clean with just my shirt. Really like my frames so I just wanted my lences replaced, gave em a 📞call and was able to get the help I needed! I even had some questions about proper cleaning and if prescription safety glasses exist(They do!) and my questions were answered right away. I was a first time patient to the practice. The staff was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. I saw Dr. Morgan. She was friendly and addressed my needs and questions. She recommended an alternative contact lens that might also offer me a better cost which I appreciated. My only concern was that two tests were completed prior to seeing the doctor and I wasn’t told I would be charged for them or if I would accept the charge. I didn’t realize I’d be charged for those tests until I reviewed my itemized receipt. I think better communication to the patient about what costs they might incur would be helpful to people so they can make an informed decision and aren’t surprised by their bill.

My first experience at Eyes of New Mexico was a very pleasant one. I was not waiting long before the appointment began and again when switching between the technician and the doctor. My technician Mariah was very nice and quite helpful when it came to my questions. Most importantly there was absolutely no rushing and it was a face to face visit. After visiting several opticians that were unable to find a prescription that worked for me I made an appointment with Eyes of NM. She reviewed my failed prescriptions and said her results were very close to one of the others. She suggested I make a cataract appointment before purchasing any more glasses. I did so, and am forever grateful! I recently had cataract surgery that resulted in not needing any corrective lenses! When the need arises again I will not hesitate to return to Eyes of New Mexico...they have my complete trust!

I really like this clinic! I was able to schedule very easily online, and was amazed that I could get an appointment the same week. They called me to confirm my appointment and gather my information ahead of time so that I didn't have to fill out endless paperwork--the efficiency is appreciated. Dr Morgan is very nice and thorough and answered all my questions. All of the staff are very gracious and professional. I was a patient of Eye Associates for 15 years, but their decline in service and the insane wait times for an appointment finally made me look elsewhere. So glad I came to Eyes of NM, since I desperately need new glasses and cannot wait 9 months for an appointment (seriously Eye Associates, 9 MONTHS???) The only real downside from an otherwise wonderful visit is that there is not a large selection of glasses in their optical shop. The glasses there seemed very lightweight, which to me feels flimsy. I am extremely picky with my glasses though, so I do not mind purchasing frames online to get exactly what I want. And I think I just prefer a sturdy, heavier frame to a lightweight one. The opticians were still very helpful and offered to tighten my current glasses, which have loosened up a lot in the last 2 years. They even cleaned them! Greatly appreciate the staff at this clinic. I would recommend them!

I had a great experience! When I arrived and called to let them know I had arrived Jessica was very pleasant. When they were ready for me the technician called me and met me at the door and checked my temp before entering the office he was very professional and friendly and before preforming the pre-testing he would explain what was going to happen so there were no surprises. I had an appointment with Dr Morgan and she was very friendly and professional and game me a thorough exam. After the exam I was escorted from the ram room to the reception desk and was asked if I was interested in new glasses, which I was not at this particular time. Again he was also very friendly and pleasant, sorry I cannot remember his name. Overall my experience was a very pleasant one and would highly recommend this practice. I am a licensed optician and have been in the industry for 36 years and stickler for good customer service and they did a great job!

Our experience here was excellent! I brought my 3 year old in for a second opinion because I was disappointed with my visit with a different pediatric eye doctor in the area. Dr Martinez was fantastic. She thoroughly explained what was going on, what our options were. I didn't feel rushed in the least bit. She was friendly and thorough and good with my child. I met with Dr Molinar for myself right afterwards. She was fantastic too. The entire staff was extremely friendly, not the least bit pushy, explained options, honest, and just overall great. I'll definitely return when we need eye appointments in the future.

My family has been going here for many years and have always felt a family feel with them. Last month, my son’s frames began to separate where the lenses sit. I didn’t get to call it in and ask about the warranty due to a family emergency. When I called last week I was informed that the warranty had expired. Ab, the longtime employee that is always kind and has a smile, said he would contact the manufacturer to see if he could get them to replace the frames. He got it done!! Great place! Went during COVID, very clean and felt safe. People are fantastic and feels like family, the doctor is amazing and didn’t give me grief about not wearing my glasses when I was younger! The sales rep for your glasses shows you all your options but let’s you make the decision in the end, I spent about 500$ for the eye exams (didn’t have to dilate my eyes) great frames and lenses with no insurance. Was in and out in about 30-45mins and I looked at frames. I would say you get what you pay for but I still feel like I got a good deal! Thanks y’all!!!!

I have never seen that level of expertise combined with that same level of compassion. Dr. Martinez spent a lot of time with me, explaining my results and my options. I’ve been taking my daughters here for 2 years, and we LOVE all of the staff. Bryan and Crystal have always been amazing with my daughters, and Dr. Martinez is very patient and friendly. They are always informative and up to date with recent technology and treatments. My oldest does Ortho-K which means we are there often. Update 5/29: After having missed scheduling an eye exam for the last two years I am proud to report that Eyes of NM is still delivering top-notch care and professionalism for their customers. I highly recommend checking them out! Called at about 1:30 yesterday, and was able to get into an appointment at 2:40. The office has been very clean and well put together every time I have been there for a visit. All of the staff that I had the pleasure of encountering were very professional, friendly, and explained every step of the way. You are going to pay more here than you usually would anywhere else, but eyes are nothing to skimp on. I look forward to any future visits I make. Thanks!

Place was clean and very friendly staff. Was taken back right away but did have to wait almost 30 minutes for the doctor to speak with me. Doctor was very thorough. Best part was after the exam we sat down and a gentlemen by the name of AB helped me pick out glasses down to earth kind of guy but I knew his stuff when it came to glasses, also was very patient. I recommend this place to everyone one and make sure you ask for AB when it comes to helping you out with glasses .

My daughter is 4 yrs old, so trips to the doctor's office can often be a challenge. However, our experience at Eyes of New Mexico Optometry was very pleasant. The staff were very patient and helpful. They were very considerate of my daughter's comfort level, while still being able to run the tests they needed. Dr. Martinez was wonderful. She gave us a clear understanding of my daughter's vision at this time and what to watch out for in case things change. Dr. Martinez and her assistant had many ways to assess my daughter's vision, so that she was able to provide them feedback without reading off a letter from the standard eye chart. Although my daughter already know her letters, she is very shy, so getting her to provide feedback is not always easy. Rather than call out letters/shapes, she was able to just point at what shape she was seeing, which made her more comfortable. The whole experience was very easy and stress free. I highly recommend this office for families.

I went in for an eye exam today, and Eyes of New Mexico has done an incredible job adjusting to the new norm. Every staff member was incredibly conscious of personal space and it is obvious from the time you walk in they are taking every measure to have a clean and safe space. But, they were also friendly and professional. AB helped me pick out glasses and offered to let me take the frames outside to take pictures or look in the mirror “un-masked”. I have double eye insurance and he worked to make sure I was getting the most out of the coverage for the glasses I picked out. He was also fun to work with, he knows what he’s talking about and the products they deal with. I didn’t feel pressured and he gave me plenty of time to pick my glasses with good insight about the quality of frames and the differences from brand to brand. Buying glasses is an investment and he treats it as one. I had a great experience today and am so grateful they are also a locally owned business, all around a great experience.

I don't usually give 5 stars to anything and I especially don't give a positive reviews so quick but I was in their office yesterday after noon (2-28-20)for dry eyes and I a am super impressed by the way the staff treated me. They made sure to let know know what exactly they were doing to my eyes and then the dr explained everything to me, listened to all my concerns and felt like they truly cared for my eyes and condition and I left happy that I finally was told what was going on and felt a huge weight life off my shoulders knowing I was gonna be getting treatment. Very proffessional, friendly and thorough. Dr. Martinez is very kind and patient when explaining my questions. She always makes sure I understand everything she's saying completely and takes the time with me for my needs. I would recommend eyes of new Mexico to everyone! Their frames are also not ungodly expensive!! So that's a plus!! Receptionists are always very friendly and willing to help as well!! They have a very nice play area for little ones and plenty of space in the waiting area for privacy! It's not usually too crowded and they're very quick to get you back at your appointment time!!

Great care and concern for my eyesight. I wanted a Dr that would care about me, and not my insurance coverage. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The elderly lady that helped with my frame selection was rather pushy and forward in her manner to process my order. She acted like I should pay their price with no problem-$450.00 for my glasses. My state coverage was not paying a lot for a good frame, as theirs felt cheap and flimsy. I told I would let her know about ordering them and she didn't like that. I will go to Wal-Mart and get better glasses and much more for my money, than at their place. It was a great place to get your eye exam, but that was all!

I have battled dry eyes and MGD for years and lipiflow has been recommended from my optometrist here is Las Cruces for as long time. When I called and made my appointment Brian was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I suffered a total mac off retinal detachment in one eye. After 2 retinal surgeries and cataract surgery, my vision was still distorted, blurry, and depressing. I needed correction at all distances. I tried the conventional corrections; glasses, regular and bifocal, with and without prisms, gas permeable as well as scleral contact lenses, but nothing worked to give me a satisfactory correction. Then I found Dr. Tiffany Martinez who fitted me with Ortho-K lenses, and I haven’t looked back since. I have worn my Ortho-K lenses for several months now and I absolutely love them! They have given me the best overall quality of vision. I wake up every morning with clear vision, and I only need glasses for reading. While my vision is not as crisp as it used to be with glasses, my eyes feel relaxed, and my vision is clear 24/7. I have been able to resume all my regular activities, and I no longer feel depressed. My monofocal IOL in the injured eye had a very limited range of clear vision beforehand, the Ortho-K lenses have greatly increased the range of clear vision. Dr. Martinez designs the Ortho-K lenses herself, they are worn at night, and they reshape the cornea while sleeping. In the morning they can be removed. I no longer worry about dust getting in my contact lenses during the day. The Ortho-K lenses are color coded, so it’s easy to tell them apart, and the insertion and removal tools make putting them in and taking them out a breeze. I have dry eyes and can insert the lenses with eye drops to help lubricate my eyes while wearing the lenses. These Ortho-K lenses were an investment, but Dr. Martinez offers a payment plan that has made it feasible for me to purchase them. For the improved quality of vision, they are worth every penny. Dr. Martinez and the staff at Eyes of New Mexico have all been very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Dr. Martinez seems to have state of the art technology. The practice has the best system for sanitizing the rooms that I have seen at a doctor’s office during this pandemic. I never hesitated to go in for my fittings and always felt safe. I highly recommend Dr. Martinez and the Ortho-K lenses for anyone who is seeking an improved quality of vision.

Dr. Molinar-Arguello was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I found out things about my eye problems that no other doctor has told me. I would be happy to go back to her again. The staff was as excellent as the doctor. The woman (unfortunately, I do not remember her name) who helped me put on my contacts for the first time had the patience of a saint. She never showed even the slightest annoyance even though it took me about 30 minutes. Overall a very positive experience.

Their staff is always kind and welcoming every time i go in and they to a very well job on making sure i am well taken care of. i recently started using contact lenses again and their main concern was making sure what i was getting was the best for my eyes,there was no pressure to having to buy contacts and when i went in prior for glasses they never once tried to "BS" me into getting anything i didn't want or need. Since this was my first time ever getting glasses, I expected that it would be a long visit but my appointment went smoothly. The staff was great and I was able to select the frames that I wanted. We were in and out in about 30 minutes. I would say that the only negative was the attempt to sell services and products that are not necessarily needed but this is something that happens anywhere you go.

My first exam was 6/2014 and was good. I liked Dr Hands as she knew what I needed for my new prescription and glasses. The front desk staff was " not together" in the way of helping clients or each other in their work. They kept asking each other for help. The lady who assisted in ordering my new glasses was very "pushy did not except my No order now comments now", well at all. She was forcing me to order glasses when I couldn't afford them. I want to go there again for a new exam, but not sure what I will do when it is a choice for this business.

For years I was going to eye Associates because it's been said that they were/are the best NOT TRUE. I admit that I have a couple of serious problems and I ask questions none of which were never answered or the explanation didn't make sense????? Today I left so so happy, yes there may be a real problem with both my eyes but Dr. Nancy Molinar listened and gave me answers and potential options.
