When I went to Eyeglass world this morning to get my yearly contacts, Michelle got me out of there very quickly with the best deal she could find for me. I already had a prescription, so I was in and out within a half hour of showing up. Michelle was very kind and professional, and really made it a point to find the best deal with my insurance. I previously had a horrible experience with Stanton Optical, and this wonderful experience at Eyeglass World convinced me that I should never ever go back to Stanton. Thank you Eyeglass World, for always taking care of me :) I’ve never, in 8 years of going to Eyeglass World, had a bad experience.

I went in for an eyeglass repair/replacement and was immediately helped by the friendly staff with zero wait time. Cassandra fixed my first pair (loose screw) and then began to search for a replacement frame for my additional pair due to the frame not being able to be repaired. It was unfortunately not in stock but she went above and beyond and called about 5 other locations until she found a store that had it in stock and even ordered it for me! This was an amazing experience and Cassandra was very polite and helpful during the entire process! I will definitely be coming to this location again for my future eyeglass/eye exam needs.!

My introduction to Eyeglass World on 1/9/23: Professional, pleasant, welcoming, accommodating, courteous and thorough. Not at all like many other local services that have rushed me through like a head of cattle. The entire staff was genuine and accurate - beginning with making my appointment with Marissa over the phone. Marissa, Jaden, Cassandra, Dr. Dyer… renewed my faith in humanity especially after having a couple of nauseating experiences with Stanton Optical of whom gave me the wrong prescription twice (!?!?). The trip to Albuquerque from Santa Fe was totally worth it. Why go anywhere else? Mega thanx y’all I’m yours for life, Craig

It sucks that I’m leaving this review but the reason for 3 stars is in great part due to the manager. At least she looked like the manager. The only one not in a white smock. Wearing gray that day. I was being helped by someone that has helped me before and was super comfortable with but I noticed the manager staring at me while I was in the store. Not once did she approach to greet me or ask if I needed anything but when the person that helping me began to replace my lenses, the manager called her over it seemed and then another person took over. Idk exactly what transpired but it was very odd to say the least. Mikayla was just as awesome as the girl that usually helps me. I feel awful that I cannot recall her name but she is awesome!!! They both were. But that manager needs to get her attitude together lol. She stares hard and makes you feel so uncomfortable and says nothing. I felt as though I was being watched as if I was gonna steal something. Anyways, just wanted to share my experiences. I have been getting seen by this optometrist for the past 3 - 4 years

This place was very quick walk in with the doctor. The receptionist Barbara was very kind and knew exactly what she was doing with the insurance, and other options. The doctor himself was very kind and methodical. The entire process took about 20 minutes. Pretest and all. The doctor did give information About options and future info. On the glasses side, there are plenty of options, and tons of designer options and lower price packages. They help fit as well when you pick up. The lab manager Bob help fit my sister and was very professional. I will be back. Much cheaper than other stores. ( I use to be an optics tech and with an in store discount it was cheaper)

I went to the eyeglass world on Wyoming blvd in Albuquerque NM, for the first time 07/20/2022, to have my eyes checked. Then again on 7/21/2022 to have my sons eye checked. Today we collected my sons spectacles. All three days I found the staff to be very attentive and courteous. The eye doctor was exceptional and a thorough professional. The optician Mari was an excellent host and went out of her way to help us. Keep it up.

When you enter the store, you will be immediately greeted. Everyone was busy, and yet everyone was friendly and helpful. They send text reminders for appointments, directions to the store, and will offer you open times when available. They have a TON of fashionable frames and are always running deals. This place is awesome!! I had an eye emergency and because I was traveling out of the country it was difficult for me to get contacts shippe on such short notice. Not only did they get me a pair of contacts to use immediately, they also made sure I was taken care of throughout my trip which extended almost 1 month. I didn’t have to worry about contacts until I got home. Also I broke a very expensive pair of glasses, no other office would touch them. Darrian fixed them in less then 2. The way they went above and beyond is amazing. 🙏🏻

We've been getting glasses here for several years, it's always a positive experience. Staff is great. Selection is great. Prices are not bad compared to some other places we've tried. They don't accept our insurance...but the glasses are still the best deal we have found. We've had to use the warranty a few times and they are always prompt and easy to deal with.

Update: After the manager read my review. She contacted me and made it right. She replaced my glasses with a new pair of my choice immediately and with everything I had with my lenses. If I could give 0 stars I would. Awful service. Went in to get my glasses tighten. The worker says since I didn’t buy them there he’s not responsible if he breaks them. Right after he says that he ends breaking them when tightening them. Now, I’m without glasses because they weren’t responsible for them.

They were absolutely amazing and super fast! They had my difficult prescription on file and was able to complete my glasses in 30 minutes. I was able to get two pairs using their 2 for $129.99 deal and it was still cheaper than buying one pair at Lenscrafters (and they were much nicer than the people at Lenscrafters too!). Will definitely be going back and will take my husband to get glasses there too!

I've always had a great experience! They maintain their staff for a long time so you actually get to know the employees. They are so friendly! I wouldn't go anywhere else. The glasses are inexpensive and of good quality. The manager, Michelle goes above and beyond for the customers. Honestly, my whole family gets their glasses here. Their eye glass doctor is great too. They have top of the line equipment and if you want a perfect prescription, this is the place to go. Very happy with Eye Glass World.

Have always had a good experience here. When I called on Saturday afternoon, they were able to book me an appointment on Monday morning. Dr. R is always so friendly and welcoming. My exam was fast, but didn't feel as if I wasn't important to him. They just seemed incredibly efficient! Was able to get contacts fitted that day, too. While the eyeglass store was good I will never bring my kids here again for an eye exam. I was told what the charge would be for an eye exam and if they dilated the eyes it would be more. I told them no. Front desk person goes well due to social distancing he might have to. I signed the paperwork and picked no dilation. Surprise surprise when I get hit with the dilation fee. Even after I said no twice. Will never go back here. The doctor even showed up for work after the appointment time. And nowhere does it show on their web page that they are doing this. Nice racket they have going on here.

This is my second time visiting the doctor for my annual eye checkup. Lord, the doctor is so amazing. He’s very attentive to your needs and questions. You can tell that he has a high good energy. The receptionists are nice, too. This year I decided to change the lenses of my old frame to the new prescriptions at their eye shop. I had a very good experience. Unfortunately they couldn’t work on my sunglasses frame due to its extreme curve. But they did my regular glasses. I usually have difficulties adjusting to new prescriptions. With them, I did NOT go through any problems adjusting. Side note: I ended up buying new sunglasses frames from them. They gave me the best deal ever I could get on a Versace pair. I highly recommend both: the doctor and the shop.

I had such a great experience here. I put off getting new glasses and contacts for years because I always thought it was a huge process and hassle. Eyeglass world completely changed my mind about that! In one visit, I got a quick eye exam, a set of contact lenses enough to last me almost a year, and a new pair of glasses all in the same day. Worked with several people here through my glasses purchasing experience. Cassandra was nice and helpful and extremely patient. She even stayed late so I could order my glasses without having to come back the next day. The company itself is really corporate feeling and not willing to go the extra mile. I didn't work with all the employees but there were several I was glad to avoid after observing them work for several hours, especially the gentleman I'm pretty sure was the manager. Even though they have a seemingly extensive frame variety, and I do like my new regular glasses from them, I still ended up having to settle on my Rx sunglasses. Wish I loved the style after spending several hundred dollars on them, but they just didn't have what I wanted.

I changed insurance a few years ago and after that I went through 5 maybe 6 years of horrible puppy mill type optometrist offices. I have really bad eye sight so not having a correct prescription for years has been awful. well I'm happy to say I feel like a human being again! thank you so much to the knowledgeable dr. that took care of me. I read the bad reviews and almost didn't visit. However, they carried everything from El Cheapo to Oakley, so I decided to give them a try. Whereas other dealers were quoting 2-week lead times for Oakley, they had my glasses in under a week, and I got a pair of Oakley sunglasses half off for my wife. The staff was helpful, courteous, and responsive, and helped me select a frame and lens type that worked for me. I love my new glasses!

They have such a great team! They were pleased to help me when I had uncomfortable lenses. They are super friendly. But one thing I don’t like is that they keep you on hold forever when you try to make a appointment. I don’t know if it’s that lots of people are making appointments or if it’s intentional or if they’re just closed by the time we call them. I really don’t know.

My wife and I were home for a family visit , we arrived late in the afternoon with the hopes that we could have my wife's new glasses the next morning before we flew back to Italy. We had been to two other places with no luck. Not only did we get the new glasses and custom polarized sunglasses before our flight, but they stayed late to complete them that very day. Who gets a new pair of glasses and polarized lensed sunglasses in less than two hours? Special gratitude to Richard Candelaria, the manager Rodney, and the lab technician, wish we remembered his name. Without us asking, you went way above normal customer service to help us out so that we could make our flight the next morning. It was completely unexpected and very much appreciated. I had went all over town to find the perfect glasses at the right price! I walked into Eyeglass World and they were busy. It did not take but a few seconds to get greeted! I was put on a list and in about 5min I was called by Mr. Rodney McDaniel! I told Mr. McDaniel what a frame looked like that i had seen at other places, and he said excuse me ill be right back. He brought the excact pair I was looking for and helped me pick out the lenses that would be best for me and my lifestyle! I went to the high-end stores to see what my "dream glasses" would be if my budget wasn't a concern. I went to Walmart and Sears for the basement bargains. Then I realized I only needed to go to Eyeglass World at 4200 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM--I got personalized service that fit my budget and I couldn't be more happy. Ask for Rodney--he is a mix of fashion consultant, scientist, financial planner--all wrapped into one great guy who made the process easy and with the results I needed. I will return to get a third pair (I purchased glasses and prescription shades) based on the savings and great service. NOTE: I read other criticisms of Rodney in other reviews. Often times customers do not want professional advice, they don't want help--go anywhere if that is your low standard. If you have style and personalized needs for your eyewear--to see better without any drawbacks from the wrong type of glasses, then don't use a professional consultant like the staff at Eyeglass World. For me I stand those who provide that hard-to-find old fashion customer service.
