I’ve been a patient for several years. My regular visits always go well - they operate like a well oiled machine. Always smooth and professional. Their office staff is friendly and the premises are clean. It gives you lots of confidence. Today I needed an immediate appointment due to an injury while doing yard work. They were very kind and caring and gave me a same day appointment which was very much appreciated. Again I received excellent and professional care. I’m grateful.

Friendly staff, great doctors. My only complaint is that I left a message concerning my upcoming surgery for the doctor, and due to him being away on vacation for 1 week it took nearly 3 weeks for me to get a reply. Very frustrating because it was down to the wire and I was biting my nails!

I was able to get scheduled very quickly and everyone was very nice, professional and thorough. I did encounter 1 problem in that I told the scheduler I had a referral for an opthomologist for a specific concern that would likely require a prescription, and I was told when I arrived that my visit was with an optometrist. This was frustrating but they did apologize and fix it by squeezing me in with the opthomologist an hour later that day. The extra wait and stress is the reason I did not give 5 stars, but the rest of the experience was great. The place was very clean and proper covid precautions were taken. I am scheduled to follow up and would be happy to go there again now that I am established and won't likely have a scheduling mishap again. ***Updated from 2nd visit**** I was very happy with my follow up visit, which included an eye exam, refraction and choosing my new glasses. I was especially happy with the thorough explanation comparing my previous exam to today's, and how much my dryness had improved with medication, as well as the difference between my current single vision prescription, traditional bifocals and progressive lenses. This helped me make an informed decision on my new prescription. I appreciated the bundle deal that made what could have been a very expensive pair of glasses more affordable. I feel like they've got all the features I need to protect and assist my eyes without any unnecessary added expense. Again, I felt very comfortable and safe with the COVID precautions taken. ***Updated multiple visits*** I have now been to this clinic several times as my eye health must be monitored regularly due to a medication I take. Every visit has been a positive experience. The clinic is always clean, efficient, set up for social distance and covid prevention and comfortable. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, patient and helpful. My first appointment aside, I have never had a scheduling issue. I always feel heard and comfortable asking questions. I highly recommend Tampa Eye Clinic, especially if you have a condition that requires you to see an opthomologist regularly.

Never been here before but I walked in to look at Cartier glasses and was greeted by a lady that said Scott would be with me in a moment and Scott came out and asked if I needed any help or if I wanted to look at a pair to let him know. I found the pair I wanted and he helped me right away with measuring to see if they were the size I wanted and he prepared my order, also accommodated a request for a specific Cartier Glasses case which I truly appreciate. There was a problem with payment but that was on my banks end and I left to the bank to grab cash instead and came back and Scott completed the transaction with me very friendly, gave me some glasses wipes with a spray cleaner too. I will be returning to this place! I highly recommend this place they have plenty of staff and a very nice selection of brands on glasses, with good prices they are not ripping anyone off.

I have been seen at Tampa Eye Clinic for several years now, and I am very pleased with the staff and Dr. Lorenzen, but the wait times during the appointments are insane. I have to go twice a year and I already know to take a whole day off work or not make plans that day, and be prepared to be there for AT LEAST an hour and a half between testing and waiting to be seen. If it wasn't for the wait times, I would absolutely give 5 stars.

All the staff at Tampa Eye Clinic is exceptional, from doctors and technicians to reception. I was especially impressed with Optician Louise Rodriguez. Not only is she extremely competent and professional, but she goes the extra 10 miles in making sure you get the most benefit from your insurance. The day I was there, she found benefits for three patients (including myself) that we were unaware of, saving us all money. She also stayed almost an hour after the place closed to make sure all her measurements were accurate and the extra insurance paperwork was done to ensure maximum benefit. My only problem with the place, which I'm sure is not due to the staff, is that the wait times are far too long. I've been there three times and have never gotten in and out in less than three hours.

I have been going to Tampa Eye Clinic for 15 years. I have the people there to be very caring helpful and extremely professional. From the minute you walk in the front door the staff at the front desk it's very helpful and knowledgeable and as you go to the back to see the doctor you're also helped by his assistant. One of them it's Geno he's been with the doctor a very long time and he is a very kind and caring person and will help you with the whatever you need. I have been a problem patient LOL as I have some difficult issues. Dr. Reynolds Has never giving up on me and has been there the whole time with tremendous understanding and patience. I had lasik a month before writing this. I was at 20/15 the next day! My vision is still great. The whole experience was very well done. Everyone on the staff is professional and friendly. They are also knowledgeable. Every single question I had was answered with lots of details. They walked me through what to expect at every step along the way. Their follow up was also great. I chose Dr. David H. Leach because my grandmother, my mother, and my brother all had major eye surgeries here (not lasic). They were all super happy with how it went. My experience was also fantastic. Follow all the directions they give you for eye drops and stuff. Plan to sleep all day after the procedure. They have been doing this well for a long time so they know what works best.

I stopped going because of this and then when I recently went back to try again, the same thing happened. Prepare to spend time in the waiting room.

This place is near Britton Plaza on a corner and always caught my eye (no pun intended!), so I decided to call them for an appointment. I'm glad I did! The level of service I received puts NYC to shame! The cleanliness, friendliness, professionalism, and thoroughness of this practice is stellar. Was given many options for different types of lenses and contacts I could try and the doctor even ordered me 2 different types of contact lenses to test before buying anything. Outstanding!

Appreciated the care that was given to following Covid safeguards. The security guard outside the main door was helpful and patient . Even thought it was obvious that the medical staff were busy , each that observed me, not only took time with me but did not seem rushed.

The only problem that I had was that documents I asked to be emailed to me from the retina department were given to me as copies that I can’t pass on to my former eye doctor. Nevertheless they did make copies for me. Overall, I am happy with the Eye Clinic.

The doctor didn't try to push glasses on me - he simply said "You don't need new glasses right now". He gave me a detailed explanation of the condition of my sight and what I can do for maintenance.

I had an excellent time throughout the entire process of getting my eyes corrected with LASIK. I was able to get a free consultation and into the process of laser eye correction in less than a month. Dr. Leech and his staff were VERY informative during every part of the process and demonstrated high levels of experience and confidence for before/during/after the surgery. I wish I had gone sooner! Now I'm recovering from my Thusday surgery and I'm loving the results (better than 20/20!). I highly recommend the south Tampa location! Yesterday I woke up with a terrible pain in my eye and could not get whatever it was out and my vision was going blurry. I haven’t been to an eye doctor in years so I didn’t have one in town. I called and they got me in the same day and got the piece of sand out of my eye and gave me an rx for antibiotic eye drops for my scratched cornea. Everyone at the office was so friendly. Will definitely go back if I need! I was also informed I have 20/20 vision 😎 great news!

I arrived 15 minutes prior to my scheduled appointment at 9:30 in the morning. I checked in by phone as instructed. I waited in the car 1.5 hours. Once inside the office I waited about 30 minutes to have my eyes checked by a tech. I was given eye drops to dilate the eye. It was past 1:00 pm when I was finally seen by my doctor. I had a similar experience the same week at the clinic. I understand that everyone is having to make accommodations due to the COVID-19. Having said that, it is unreasonable to expect anyone to wait that long to receive services. My dissatisfaction with the wait time is not a reflection on my doctor. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Orlick who performed surgery on my eye and is continuing to provide follow-up services.

He is one of the most caring, sincere and professionally talented physicians in any field of medicine that I have experienced over my lifetime. Dr. Leach and his staff always completely communicate to you what actions they are currently performing and why, the diagnosis, the choices you may have as a patient, the recommended treatments available and the possible/probable outcomes. You are never left wondering about any part of the process. Much of the time I have seen Dr. Leach and his staff for rather routine issues. However, In February of 2016 Dr. Leach diagnosed shingles in my right eye, a very serious illness in which the loss of sight is very possible. After a year of very caring, professional and diligent care by Dr. Leach and his staff there is no evidence of shingles in my eye and no residual damage. Cataract surgery in my right eye had to be postponed because of the shingles but it was successfully completed on March 6 of this year by Dr. Leach. Once again I could not have asked for better care and results! My sight is tremendously improved. I would highly recommend Dr. Leach his staff and Tampa Eye Clinic as been the best in the business!

The eye was well numbed, and I was in and out of surgery in about ten minutes. It was so fascinating, I wanted to look around, but was reminded I was getting eye surgery. It felt like I closed my eyes, and touched my eyelid and pressed a tiny bit. That's it. I was out the door within ten minutes of leaving the operating room. I now have 20-20 vision, I think 50 years ago, I'd be blind!

On the morning of Friday, June 8, 2012, I awoke to an inflammation of the eye. I did some internet searching and found what looked to be a very professional team in your group. At 6:43 AM, I called your overnight office answering service to see about scheduling a new patient appointment. I expected to be called around 9am when most office staffs start returning calls. Furthermore, I also expected that I would have to wait a week or more before getting an appointment. Shortly after hanging up with your service, you contacted me at approximately 6:55 am. To be honest, having a doctor call a new patient at that hour was surprising. My surprise was surpassed by the fact that you scheduled me for an appointment for 8am the same morning. Once arriving at the office, your staff promptly gathered my information and escorted me to the waiting room. In less time that it took me to take a sip of your free coffee in your waiting room, my name was being called by Pat, one of your nurses. She asked me several questions and did the initial evaluation. Within 10 minutes I was being examined by you. Quickly diagnosing my problem, your wrote me a prescription for antibiotics, recommended hot compresses, scheduled me for a follow up on Monday at the same time and I was on my way. The entire office visit took less than 45 minutes from start to finish. My eye infection has disappeared and I am back to normal. I wanted to let you know that this is the most professional medical office and staff that I have ever had the pleasure visit. You and your staff were amazing. I highly recommend you, Dr. Lorenzen, and the Tampa Eye Clinic for anyone wanting quality eye care! Thanks again.

I believe with technology, training, etc. of staff a clinic in business this long should be run better, be more organized and share info between staff and doctors better. .....dr Reynolds is great....but .....it gets harder and harder to deal with the rest. I have been trying to get in since Feb. with an eye issue. At that time painfipul, a person named Gino got back to me said probably dry eye..told me to get lubricant. It took the sharp pain away I was having. Not the crusting, etc. I called back.....then called back again....sorry no appts available. He wasn't a even made aware of it nor I guess was his staff...I guess. Today he gave me a script for allergy eye drops........I have went thru much discomfort in March and April. due to front desk saying no appts available till end of April and staff never returning call. Thank heavens it was not anything serious. Along with surgery having a Marsh and March confusion. Then going in for recheck after surgery ....and being told I was confused with which eye........had been done.....I said what's the birth date? W r o n g! It was for the other woman again! No matter how great a doctor is........we deal mostly with s t a f f ......TEC needs to get into more training and coordinating.......of s t a f f in offices and surgery center. At 75 I am getting very uncomfortable with trusting everyone there.

My wife accidentally hurt her left eye working in the yard. After an emergency visit to St Joes we went to Tampa Eye for prof consultation and care. Dr Leach and his staff took this near blinding trauma very very seriously. They coordinated complicated surgeries, helped us navigate insurance and allayed our fears by answering all our questions. We will go back to Dr Leach for any other eyeball stuff we see ;)
