Dr. Arey is an amazing ophthalmologist. The staff is very friendly and professional. My wife just had standard cataract surgeries on both eyes with him. We were nervous about the outcome of the procedure. But three weeks after the second surgery, her new far vision is excellent, and no glasses are needed for driving. She is so happy with that. Highly recommend. Many thanks to Dr. Arey and his team.

My wife, Christine, recently had cataract surgery both eyes with Dr. Arey. Her vision is now 20/20 in each eye. Her experience was terrific. The staff was caring and professional and kind. You are treated as though you are their only patient. Dr. Arey is very skilled and talented. He is a great listener, caring and knowledgeable Doctor. He calls each patient the evening of their surgery just to check and make sure you are doing well and if you have any questions. I do not know of one other Doctor who follows through with such a personal touch. To sum up... experience from the initial telephone call to the visits to the surgery...fantastic!

The first thing I would like to say, is I had visited approximately 5 medical practitioners before I scheduled my appointment with Dr. Arey. By the time I had scheduled my appointment, I was rather frustrated with the inability of the ophthalmology community of practitioners to adequately assess, diagnose, and treat my condition. Due to poor assessment, diagnosis and treatment, I spent a year and a half looking as if I had chronic conjunctivitis of the right eye. I believe Dr. Arey received my frustration well, as he spent quality time assessing, diagnosing, and treating my condition. As of today, my symptoms have cleared and I am relieved to not look as if I have chronic conjunctivitis. I am grateful beyond words to have a my eye health returned to me. Thanks, Dr Arey and staff!!! Sorry for being so very salty during my visit.

As a former nurse herself, my mother was exceptionally pleased at the level of kindness, patience and professionalism shown to her by Dr. Arey and his staff. She also raved at his gentle nature as he worked towards improving her vision. She was particularly taken aback by the fact that Dr. Arey PERSONALLY called her the evening after her surgery to check on her, something she never experienced as a patient nor as a retired Registered Nurse.
