This is a great place to work, and the best eye exams I have gotten. My experience with the Doctors here as an optician have been far more accurate prescriptions than other places I have worked. Always there can be some adjusting needed but the DRs are great about being humble and understanding that some things take a second try.

I managed to dislodge the nose pads on my glasses while attempting to clean them. I popped into this shop quite late in the day and they fitted brand new nose pads for me *and* cleaned my glasses in less than five minutes and wouldn't take any payment for the service. Very grateful for their kindness.

Eye Group Associates did an amazing job walking me through the process of getting my first pair of glasses. They explained everything in as much detail as I needed and even though this is something that I did not want I now understand it is something I needed after receiving my glasses last week. I have been a patient at Eye Group Associates for years. From the front desk to the exam room their service is outstanding! Dr D’Ostroph, Rhonda, Brittany, Leah, Quintin, Dr. Rimkit and Dr Edmonds are all professional and kind. I highly recommend them for routine eye care, eye equipment (ie glasses and/or contacts) and Dr. D’Ostroph for cataract surgery. Couldn’t imagine receiving better care or more geniune concern from a team of medical professionals! Thank you Portland Eye Group!

I've been coming to The Eye Group for almost 20 years because I receive outstanding care and service every time. Cynthia Rimkeit is a great optometrist and I always look forward to seeing her. She's friendly, highly experienced, and smart. She works quickly and efficiently, and she 's a good listener who answers questions well. As a contact lens wearer, I don't feel the need to update my eyeglasses very often, but in my most recent visit to the in-house optical shop, I had a great experience with James. He's well versed in the technical side of optics as well as the fashion considerations, so he does a great job of matching the client to the right products. Plus, he makes the experience fun. The people at the front desk are wonderful to work with, and parking in the downstairs garage is free because they will validate your ticket when you come in for your appointment.

On the recommendation of a coworker, I started going here just over a year ago when my insurance changed and have really appreciated Ann's warm and friendly approach as an optometrist! She helped me figure out what was going on with an inflamed eye last year, providing correct eye drops after a general doctor had offered something less than ideal, and has made my annual eye exam for glasses / contacts an experience I enjoy, thanks to her attitude. The staff member who helped me pick out my new glasses was also super helpful when I was having trouble deciding, and let me take the time I needed to waffle back and forth before landing on a pair I love -- my first new pair of glasses in eight years. Now I'll be recommending this place to my new coworkers!
