I was surprised and delighted at the personal attention and care Dr. Winchester gave to my poor complicated eyes. She was the first eye doctor in my 50+ years of eyeglasses who diagnosed a complication that only one other doc had even detected, and rather than handling it herself (which the previous doc had tried to do, with mixed results), she referred me to the most qualified local specialist so that I would have the best possible care for that particular condition. She's also a warm and caring human being. I have great faith in Dr. Winchester's judgment and ability to handle any vision problem, complicated or simple, and am glad to have her as my eye doc.

Dr. Winchester is an outstanding opthamologist. I went to see her for burning in my eyes. Not only did she examine the anatomy of my eyes,(tear ducts, iris, retina, etc.) and diagnose my problem as dry eye syndrome but she tested my short, long range and peripheral vision, tested me for Glaucoma and Cataracts etc. You would think such a comprehensive exam would be very expensive but my insurance treated it as an office visit to a specialist and I was only billed a copay. She is extremely thorough and passionate about her work. She even recommended the best quality treatment and maintenance regimen for my eyes. I have never had such a thorough and professional eye exam and diagnosis. Forget about those optometrists and clinics of opthamologists as you don't know who you're dealing with or unless you just need a pair of reading glasses Go see Dr. Winchester as she is passionate about her medicine, professional and extremely thorough.. She will "blow you away". I can easily rate her with 5 stars.
