Reviews of Kay, Tabas, Niknam & DiDomenico Ophthalmology Associates

Was recommended to KTND by my eye doctor for cataract surgery. Dr. DiDomenico was absolutely the best. This is a wonderful practice, was treated extremely well all the way around . I would recommend Dr. Kristen DiDomenico to everyone!! Would also like to say Dr. Kay and Jason who also saw me for my follow ups were wonderful!

Everyone was wonderfully genuine and very human. The reception staff, the support technicians seemed to really be committed to their work and, more than that, really enjoy their jobs. The wait time was very short. Dr. Luo was superlative and highly qualified. She was warm and caring and took the time and answered all my questions. I would recommend them without any reserve. Well done.

Everything connected with Kay & Tabas Ophthalmology Associates is first rate. My first visit was pleasant and professional. I was told that I was a candidate for cataract surgery. My surgeon was Kristin DiDomenico and I couldn’t have have been more pleased. She is absolutely the best. From our first meeting I could tell that she was not only competent but she really cared. I never felt like I was just another patient. To make a long story short, I now see clearer than I have in years. I can’t recommend Kristin and the staff at Kay & Tabas highly enough.

I'm a 67 year old guy who has worn glasses since the 2nd grade. Dr. Tabas evaluated me, determined I had cataracts and an astigmatism, and a good candidate for the Pan-Optic lens replacement surgery. It’s been a month since my last procedure and my eyesight is everything I hoped it would be. I can more easily read my computer, books and other written material. I see distance well also. Yes, there is a bit of “halloing” with lights at night, as I was told there would be, but it seems to be improving. The folks at Kay Tabas Ophthalmology, the doctors and staff are all great. I wish to give a shout out to Dr. Tabas, Dr. Key, Derick, Bo and the rest. They are all great!

My husband and I have been a patient of Dr. Niknam’s for at least 6 years. Very professional and caring. My husband saw her on a Friday and felt there was a problem with his eye that needed to be addressed by a specialist. She arranged an appointment for him to see a specialist on Monday.
She operated on both of us for cataract surgery and we were Very pleased. Thank you Dr. Niknam an your office staff and your support people.

True professionals. I was having terrible headaches from my glasses despite having my eyes refracted by two different optometrists and changing my prescription both times. Finally went to KTND Opthalmology who again refracted my eyes and properly diagnosed the issue with my past prescriptions. I am now seeing better than ever and headache free. Huge thanks to Derrick who was the gentleman who assisted me.

My experience with Dr. Tabas and the staff has been beyond my expectations. I am a 77 year old male and cataract surgery was a frightening prospect.
Trusting my eyesight to someone required a leap of faith.
The idea of having surgery on my eyes was scary but my fears became allayed as the staff showed great professionalism and patience and Doctor Tabas did not rush my decisions. She was very patient and thorough in answering my question.
But, the truth is in the pudding and the results of the surgery were more than I could have expected. My vision improved dramatically. Both distance and close work became much easier. I am able to continue helping people with their Medicare questions.
I am typing this review without needing reading glasses.
Thank you Doctor Tabas
Peace Love
I am a long time patience for doctor Tabas, and I would never want to go anywhere else because I have found the right person!
As a child, I have very poor eye sights and had always looking out for the ophthalmologist who understands my difficulty. I have blurred vision and a history of tear duct blockages. Even that I have gone through the surgical procedure on my eyes, I still not getting the right result. I am a beautician so to be able to see clearly is the number one priority, as my job constantly required me to make my clients beautiful.
One of my eyes needs careful attention when come to getting the right corrective lens. I wear both lens and contacts, and am very concerned if there is an ophthalmologist who is caring, careful and patient in detecting my problem, and is able to build the right, cost effective lens and frame.
I most say I have gone through many eye doctors and none matches doctor Tabas! She is “real" and sharp in telling what my needs are, and recommends the possible means to save me from the cost of getting the right corrective wears.
In my years of knowing her, she is utmost friendly and a caring doctor who willing to go extra miles to help anyone who has trouble seeing! I have come to know her to be a very good friend, a loving wife and mother. I would like to thank her for her services, and have recommended her to my coworkers, families, and friends ever since.

This 5 star rating is ONLY because of Dr. Niknam who treats me for glaucoma. She is absolutely fabulous. She's very patient, she doesn't mind answering questions, she's very knowledgeable and professional and you never feel like you are rushed out of the office when you see her. I'd give her 6 stars if I could.
I've also seen Dr. DiDomenico once and she was very nice and professional. I've seen Dr Perry 2x for contacts and/or glasses and she was professional as well.
I must agree with the comments in other reviews that the wait time at this location is ridiculous. I've waited 2 hours (with a scheduled appt) to see the only retina dr at the facility and she did not even apologize for the long wait and she took less than 10 minutes to check my retinas. It took so long to see her that I thought my dilation would disappear. I wasn't very comfortable with her or her vibe...back to WillsEye for retina care.
It's crazy how a patient (customer) can be running 15 minutes late with the threat of being told to reschedule, but when you arrive on time (or before time) you're held hostage for hours. Is waiting a long time commonplace?
