I had a great experience with Dr. Havens at Eye Consultants Pc. He did both of my cataract surgeries last month and everything turned out so well. Very easy to work with and very knowledgeable as was the entire staff. We did the surgery right next-door at the Midwest surgery center and I would highly recommend that place. They were so nice to work with. I would agree with some reviews that it seems crazy how you go from room to room to room to room for your visits. I will definitely go back again now. Very happy with my outcome.

WAY TO GO STAFF!!!! From the first day I walked into the office, I have always felt like I was the most important patient there. I was greeted with a true, genuine smile and pleasant hello. Once I was invited to the area where the nurses took care of me, it was so easy and relaxing, I didn't worry about any procedure. I have been to several eye clinics in town, ECPC is by far the friendliest, most efficient, and one of the most knowledgeable clinics in the area. The attention I received was timely, attentive, and professional. To my pleasant surprise, the clinic was busy, yet the wait was short unlike some other clinics I had been to. I was able to see the doctor in relatively short amount of time. Great for a quick visit during the work hours. The doctor I had visited was skilled, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. I was able to gain a lot of new details and perspectives relating to my situation. I was relented to leave the last clinic out of my respect to the doctor. Now I wished I could’ve visited Eye Consultants PC sooner. A fresh and new opinion is worth looking into.

I had a pretty good experience. I went in for an exam for my VA disability claim. The place seemed very organized in the prevention of COVID-19 and diligent in keeping the place sterilized. I did not have to wait that long and they seemed really invested in helping me through my exam. I have a pretty noticeable physical disability and they were helpful throughout the entire process. The doctor was also wonderful.

Great experience! Front desk was efficient, no issues. The staff did a great job with my 8yo who was getting glasses for the first time. The optometrist was professional and thorough. He explained options and recommendations and answered questions. Everyone was very patient. Laura was very helpful and efficient with helping us pick out glasses. Overall a good experience.

I work with people with disabilities. The guys I support lost their previous provider so we tried Eye Consultants PC. The providers and support staff there did an excellent job working with my guys who take a little bit of extra care because of their needs. They see Dr. Jordan Arens and he is great ophthalmologist. He cares about my guys' eye health and doesn't let their needs fall through the cracks because they have Medicaid. Also Eye Consultants PC is a visually attractive comfortable place to go for vision care. Because I liked the service they provided for my guys, I started going myself. I got some much needed support and my first pair of glasses. I saw Dr. Matt Schekirke and he supported me with an exam, new glasses, and a referral for eye therapy I have needed since I was a child. I would and do recommend Eye Consultants PC to anyone looking for kind, quality ophthalmologists and staff.

Saw Dr Arens. I was a bit of a perplexing case so I appreciate the time he spent with me to figure out what was wrong. But after doing so I felt a little let down by the lack of thoroughness and time to allow questions. Overall though a good experience. I know these docs are super busy and face pressure to keep things moving along. I just didn’t have any processing time to be able to think through and get all the info I would have liked to.

I'm writing as the Power of Attorney and nurse friend for the patient, Joyce Hamilton. Dr Shane Havens was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He understood her problem immediately and highly recommended laser surgery. He explained the procedure exactly and helped answer all our questions. Easy location to get to. Just a few blocks north of I-80. Take 84th street exit in Omaha and go North to W. Center Street and turn right two blocks. Big parking lot. Check-in goes fast and efficiently. All staff are knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. They have a variety of skills to offer for your eyesight needs. You can purchase glass frames there. In the same building is a Medical Clinic for family medical needs. Next door is the Omaha Surgical Center. They perform a variety of surgical procedures. It is very convenient for eye surgical needs. Within 4 blocks, there is a clean gas Buckey's gas station and a nice Farmhouse Cafe. Close by along the 72nd street exit are several comfortable hotels.

I like the doctor, but when you ask for sample drops, they give you whatever they have, I don’t have a lot of money to be going to the pharmacy every 7 days and buying drops that cost $25 every time you need more....wish they would be more conciderate of people who are on a fixed income!!!!

I’ve had 7 trial test lasik surgery in 1995 before lasik was FDA approved. My near and far sightedness is able to be corrected. I seem to have a upper peripheral vision problem which appears to me to have 3 sections. Nearsighted, Farsighted, and upper peripheral which was damaged by the 7 surgeries in 1995. The nearsighted prescription is not a match for this 3 rd zone. I suspect there aren’t many cases like mine. Moving the eye chart up 12 feet may duplicate the phenomenon. I have received nothing but respect and kindness from both Doctor and staff.
