Dr. Rothstein has been a great asset for the eye health of my mom. She was referred by her eye doctor and she was sent to his office after she lost most of her vision due to a medication. Dr. Rothstein assured my mom that her vision would come back slowly but surely and it has. THIS PLACE SAVED MY EYESIGHT! I was referred here some time ago after a going to an Ophthalmologist for something cosmetic. When I first arrived I was surprised at how posh the place was. The colors/decor are warm and the staff are friendly and efficient. When I first arrived I didn't know what to think. I was like why am I here. After a series of tests, I learned I had Papilledema which was treated with medication. After some weight loss and monitoring, I was eventually stable and able to get off the medications but Dr. Rothstein did not stop there! More tests were ordered and I'm thinking, this is just another way to get more money but nope! WE FOUND THE PROBLEM! After years of headaches, eye migraines and hearing whooshing, turns out I have narrowing in the vein that carries the blood from my head to my body. After YEARS of trying to figure it out, thanks to Dr. Rothstein, we not only caught it, but we caught it early. I am so appreciative of him, his practice and his staff. So many medical professionals ask me how I found out about my condition because it's not something people routinely look for. But when you have a Doctor as thorough as Dr. Rothstein, you find it! If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

How To put it all under a few words? shall Try: This place made me feel like Family… I was treated with the utmost dignity, respect & care. My Doctor ( Female/ can't remember name ) was incredibly amazing!!!!. There is a wait time that comes with this trade-off but think and use common sense. The services that I received from Eyenamics were excellent. The staff was helpful, kind, friendly and accommodated me with a prompt appointment when I started having double vision. Thanks to Dr. Robert Rothstein and his professional staff my cataract surgery went smoothly and successfully. His office assisted with all the insurance paper work and even provided car service to the Long Island surgical center. The operation was completed in minutes and the vision through my new eye is much better than before the surgery.

I started seeing Dr. Rothstein and his team a couple months ago after a concussion left me with blurred vision. The front desk staff are helpful and quick to respond to communication and requests. The husband-wife team of doctors was incredibly thorough, kind and helped me understand everything they were doing. I agree that the wait time for my first appointment was a bit long, and I wasn’t prepared to be there for 4 hours. Some prior notice to first-time patients would be helpful. My second appointment was much quicker!

I took my father to Dr. Rothstein for an emergent evaluation of eye pain. He was previously seen at an urgent care but the symptoms got worse. The receptionist was very nice when I called the office. I explained the situation and she was able to squeeze us in for a same day appointment even though the doctor was fully booked. We were seen almost right away upon arrival. Dr. Rothstein did a very thorough exam and prescribed eye drops for my father. Literally within a few hours of taking the eye drops, my father felt much better. He will return for a follow up exam next week. We are exceptionally appreciative of the doctor and staff for helping us at a time of need. The office was very clean following strict disinfecting protocols. They even installed new HEPA filters in every exam room to filter out the coronavirus. All in all, a perfect experience. Highly recommended!

The 1st surgical procedure done on May 26th which was performed thoroughly with precision and patience. The 2nd one was done on June 23rd with the same quality of care along with extraordinary treatment. High quality of service care from both doctors and the efficient staff members. Dr Kim Staiman is wonderful, caring, patience, and very informative regarding treatment, and how I should administer my eye drops. I am highly satisfied with the quality of patient care I have received always. I would recommend family members and friends without any hestation. I lost vision in my right eye seemingly overnight. Dr. Rothstein recognized that this is an emergency and made sure to observe my condition first thing without an appointment and from there deduced that this is critical. He communicated my medical situation implications and risks and following this quick conversation he made sure that the appropriate specialist came in to perform the surgery right away. Recovery was hard and Dr. Rothstein was attentive and effective guiding my progress with frequent follow ups that were never rushed and helped me both stay informed and feel reassured about the status of my condition. <y eye is almost back t normal and it is all Thanks to Dr. Rothstein both technical and personal skills.

A few weeks ago, I had an eye emergency, I called Dr Rothstein’s office and his front desk staff was able to give me an appointment ASAP. I was given several tests & seen by Kim Rothstein who diagnosed the problem and Dr Robert Rothstein prescribed medication. A follow up appointment was scheduled and treatment was successful. Yesterday, I had my annual preventative appointment and received excellent medical attention. The front desk staff, the technicians and of course the doctors are wonderful. I have been very pleased with Dr. Robert Rothstein since I first became his patient in October. Dr. Rothstein took the time to get to know me as a patient and remembered our previous conversations when I came in for my follow up appointment. It was very comforting knowing how much he truly cares about his patients. I was having an issue with my eye and Dr. Rothstein was able to get me into his office the next day to be seen even with his already booked solid schedule. He is very detail-oriented and has tremendous knowledge when it comes to his work. He made sure to sit down with my parents and me for over ample time to diligently do over the symptoms I had been experiencing and the corresponding diagnosis. Dr. Rothestein was able to get me an appointment to have an MRI done the following day. I had my MRI done at noon on a Friday while Dr. Rothestein was in surgery all day. He was kind enough to call me that night after he had been in surgeries all day to go over my test results and diagnosis over the phone. He recommended I see a neurologist and set up an emergency appointment for the following Monday. I am extremely thankful for the care that I have received from Dr. Rothstein and I highly recommend him to any person in the Queens area looking for an ophthalmologist.

I would like to thank Dr. Rothstein and Dr. Kim for saving the last bit of vision that I have left in my right eye. I am a glaucoma patient with surgery done on my left eye valve inserted, and two prior surgeries on my right eye one for a valve and the other Cataracs. with my eye pressure hovering around 25 to 30 on max medication Dr. Rothstein and Dr. Kim advise me that I’m too young to be on max medication concerned about how the side effects might affect me in the long run. And after only a few weeks I’ve seen Dr. Rothstein was straightforward and firm on his decision that I needed surgery. I was reluctant because I had two Prior surgeries on my right eye and was nervous about losing my vision entirely. Dr.Rothstein reassured me that he has my back I’m happy to say , it’s been nearly 2 months and my pressure is hovering around 7 to 10 with minimal eyedrops and eye medication. I highly recommend Dr. Rothstein and Dr.kim They are very knowledgeable, Polite, and extremely Thorough . The office has a nice cozy comfortable setting with a staff that is professional, nice, and respectful. The office is equipped with state of art equipment and the doctors assistant are intelligent polite with extreme mannerisms. Once again highly recommend it.

I was recommended Dr. Rothstein by an optometrist. I was having serious difficulty with my vision and needed to see a neuro-ophthalmologist. Dr. Rothstein, having been told about my condition by the optometrist, made a last minute appointment for me (i strongly believe seeing me last minute made all the difference in my treatment). My first appointment (Wednesday), Dr. Rothstein evaluated me and sent me to have additional tests. The next day (Thursday) I had the tests performed and Dr. Rothstein called me the same day once he received the results knowing time was of the essence. Having the results he treated me successfully. Dr. Rothstein took the time to treat me and ensured I understood the steps that we would take. I am grateful for his knowledge, and the time of Dr. Rothstein.

We’ve had a very positive experience here at EYENAMICS. My Mom was referred to Dr. Rothstein by Dr. Airiani due to double vision. Mom is under treatment for this and so far Dr. Rothstein is so easy to talk to and places you at ease so that you can ask questions if need be. He didnt have to see me due to social distancing and limited occupancy due to covid-19, but he did. I will never forget the care and treatment I received from his staff during my follow up appointments, during which I had painful eye ache. His staff was wonderful and understanding. In the end, I had to have surgery which was a painless experience. I never had a fear in the world as I knew I was in good hands. Such a professional. Dr Rothstein is an exceptional ophthalmologist. I have had an issue with my eye that has caused me to see an ophthalmologist once or twice a year for the last 55 years. I have been lucky enough to have had three (3) excellent ophthalmologists for most of that time. For the last 10 + years, I have been fortunate to be treated by Dr. Rothstein, a caring and detail oriented Doctor whose knowledge and experience makes him an superb practitioner. Dr. Robert Rothstein is my hero. He saved my eye sight. The first time when i went in, he took me in after 7pm (after hours) becasue i had to see the glaucoma specialist urgently. I was very dizzy, nauseous and in pain .. my eye pressure was over 60.(20 should be the highest) . Dr. Rothstein rcvd a call from my Opthalmologist and waited for me.. at the time i was starting at a new job as a leagal assistant, dr. Then i also got introduced to his co-worker Dr. Kim Staiman where they both have a great work environment and teamwork. When Dr. Rothstein is out to OR, Dr. Staiman sees me in the office and she is on top.of my treatment. They have great communication btw the 2 drs so there have never been confusion or mistreatment. After all i did have to get eye surgery because my symptoms was getting worse. This was performed by Dr. Robert Rothstein. Iam in great hands. He is my Goddess. Saved my eye sight!! Dr Rothstein is an exceptional and caring doctor. I was referred to him because I was presenting symptoms of papilledema. Papilledema is a condition in which increased pressure in or around the brain causes the part of the optic nerve inside the eye to swell. Symptoms may be fleeting disturbances in vision, headache, vomiting, or a combination. However, my problem was that I was having disturbance in my vision and I was presenting symptoms of papilledema in stage four which could end in blindness. After few years of taking methazolamide and no see an improvement in my vision, I surgery was needed. Before the surgery, I remember Dr Rosthein always concerned about my eye situation and trying to understand why I had this condition at my young age. I remember Dr. Rosthein being very concern of my vision while I was quiet in the room listening to him. He explained to me that he was completely sure that the surgery would be a success and after that I wouldn’t have more problem with my vision. To no make the story longer, I can say that the surgery was a success as Dr. Rosthein promised. the papilledema now is in stage 0-1 and before was in stage 4 (before the surgery). I am very happy with DR. Rosthein and I highly recommend him as neuro-ophthalmologist. Spanish El Dr. Rothstein es un médico excepcional y atento. Doc and wife were extremely detailed in the information they provided over the course of visits, the amount of tests are impressive, and reviewing the structure of my eyes with them was just so good. What you should know? It being 3 years, I have been suffering from superior oblique myokymia. I have been to neighborhood eye doctor to few well known doctors like Dr Howard Pomeranz, MD, PhD specializing in Neuro Ophthalmology at Long Island Jewish Hospital. He couldn’t even name what was my problem. Secondly, seen Dr Cristiano Olivera, MD @ New York Presbyterian, Weill Cornell Medicine and the Department of Ophthalmology. He gave me no solution or could find what is my problem. I was in frustration of not knowing what is going on with my eye. Finally, a real New Yorker Doctor, Dr Robert Rothstein, in 5 second listening to my frustrated eye problem, mentioned what it is called and gave me a hope. He is a doctor who give attention and hear your story to find a solution. Not like Dr Howard or Cristiano, those who go by name and fame of profound institution. When I was a child, my left eye was traumatized and I had an artificial lens replaced. When I was in China in 2020, I found that the intraocular pressure in the left eye was very high, reaching 40. After receiving treatment in China, the intraocular pressure was high and low, sometimes exceeding the safe value. Returned to the United States at the end of 2021 and received treatment at Dr. Robert Rothstein. Thankfully, the intraocular pressure has been maintained between 13 and 18 this year 😄.
