I bc was on vacation when my right eye started having some weird lines appearing with flashes from the side. It scared me to death. I was referred to this office where Dr Lee and his staff were so kind and considerate of my concerns. A thorough eye exam was done, and to my relief it was not anything serious. We even got some good recommendations for restaurants from one of the staff. Such a great office!! If I lived in Oahu, I would go there for any eye issues. Thanks again Dr Lee and staff!!

From my experience so far, it's always a fine visit to this office due to the wonderful staff. From the professional gals who answer the phone for appts, to the helpful reception desk area, to everyone you interact with before the exam room...they are pleasant, kind, friendly, courteous, especially patient with seniors, compassionate, and competent. Even when they are busy- which is all the time. Oh, and of course the Doctors are great too. Thankful and grateful for the important service they provide. It is a well run medical business. I've been with the Cataract & Vision Center for over 30 years. The warmth, caring and competency have been constants throughout. They handle all of their patients with az deep care and respect...honoring them as individuals who deserve good care medically and personally. The await times will vary depending on the case load; but have been reasonable in terms of services rendered. Having an eye glass shop at the clinic is a great help, too. Am also happy that Brandon took dad's place with the same quality care, too. Life sure is a 'BOWL OF CHEERIES' BEING A CLIENT AT THE CATARACT AND VISION CARE CLINIC.

Juan was excellent in answering my questions. I always request to have my refractions and eye pressure exams done by Dr. Sugino because of her peerless expertise and dexterity. Her calm approach to patients is extremely reassuring. Dr. Lee never rushes a patient, has a wonderful bedside manner, and is excellent in his examinations and diagnosis. As a patient, I am appreciative that Dr. Lee is understanding and compassionate, especially when I come in for a problem. His examinations are always done with the comfort of his patient in mind. It is no wonder that Cataract and Vision Center of Hawaii is the premier place for eye care needs.

I had Cataract surgery from Dr. Choi. From the first meeting to the last examination after the surgery, he was always nice and very articulate to explain about my eye condition and vision. Thus, I could trust him and choose appropriate multi-focal lenses which would meet my active life style. The result was very positive, and I reached 20/20 vision in both eyes. Now I can enjoy playing tennis and golf as well as working with my PC and driving a car in the evening. His staff was also very helpful and efficient.

I've only seen the office for annual exams so far. Promptly seen at scheduled appointment time. Because the office is equipped with the latest equipment I was pleasantly surprised that my pupils needed to be dilated only once. As usual, I was given a full explanation of what was being done on each part of my annual examination and shown the examination results on the computer screen compared to my last annual examination. This was the speediest ophthamalogical and optometrist examination I have had in over sixty years.

They deserve recognition for the exceptional service they give to their patients. I tried fitting contact lenses from multiple providers on multiple occassions over the years but did not find the perfect lenses until recently with Dr. Sugino. She has been patient with me, gave me options and has been very informative. I gave up on contact lenses thinking they are not for me but thanks to Dr. Sugino, I now have great fitting lenses. Viva from the contact lens department had also been so accomodating with my questions. She gave me extra pair since I will not be able to get new one right away. They friendly and the waiting is not long just under 10 minutes. The technician will do there checkup and soon after the doctor steps in and have a look on your progress and asked if any issues arises. Then he will schedule you a follow up on your next visit.

Friendly staff at the optical boutique but pricing is out of range. I bought accuvue oasys 6 month supply with VSP allowance of $120 and out of pocket $47 for a total of $167. My wife bought the same 6 month supply at Costco and only cost her $104. Roughly a 50% markup at this place. I would only go there for exam and definitely stay away from the boutique for contact lenses.
