First time to see him, and I was more than pleased. I thought my retina might be detaching, and they took me in within three hours of calling for an appointment. The staff were professional, friendly, and very accommodating. Dr. Stevens was thorough in his exams and took time to explain what was happening and calm my nerves. I highly recommend him. It was one of the better doctor experiences that I have had. I will now be a lifelong patient of his!

On my first visit I enjoyed feeling a warm welcome, and this is one of the many things to mention a few, like the kind and knowledgeable staff, scheduling, mild reminders, and pre exam . In my previous experience with seeing other eye doctors , I was told I have astigmatism and was prescribed bifocals. At Steven’s Eye Care, this was throughly explained to me and confirmed this was not the case or prescription necessary. Wow! I literally have a new perspective about my vision. Friendly, professional, appointment in time. Doctor explain detail of treatment. I the past few decades, because of my work position, had to encounter a few eye doctors on the coast. I think this place is the best. I would give them 10 stars if I can. It came to my turn to have my cataract surgery on both eyes. The outcomes are fantastic. Dr. Stevens listen to my need and accommodated it. I probably had about 10 appointments with these surgery. I never wait more than 2 minutes. Most of the time did not even had time to sit down in the lobby.

Excellent eye care, comprehensive examination and information about future surgery and available implants. Would highly recommend Dr. Stevens. In November 2022 Dr. Stephens removed the cataract and implanted a Pan Optix lens in my left eye, and then in December in my right. The brown overcast is gone, colors are bright as when I was a girl, vision is sharp and clear again, and I am starting to read without glasses. Glad I went to Dr. Stephens!

Awesome staff and reception. I knew how much my copay was before I went. All the support assistants were phenomenal, efficient, and tolerated my nervous attempts at comedy with a smile. The Doc was all business and he had me out of there fast and I had no further questions. He doesn't sell glasses so the exam was extensive but not ponderous. I've switched and he's my vision doctor going forward.

Dr Stevens was more thorough than any doctor I've seen in the past 30 years. And that's including my last exam that was done at Ochsner's. The whole process as a new patient took about 30 minutes at the most and they had coverings for my dilated eyes to protect me from the bright sunlight. He used skills I've never seen before to look at all angles of the back of my eyes. And he could have worked me up for some glasses or contacts but he didn't even try. He left it up to me to contact him if I decide I want them. That's my kind of Doctor!

Dr. Stevens really put me at ease. He explained thoroughly what surgery would be like. Dr. Stevens staff functions like a well oiled machine. They are Johnny-on-the-spot. Never have to wait past my appointed times. I 👀 forward to my visits. He explained what post surgery treatment would be like. Prior to surgery the sight in my left eye was very dim and couldn’t be corrected with new glasses. After surgery the sight is as bright as the right eye. My recovery has advanced much better and faster than the surgery performed on my right eye. I will still depend on glasses because the doctors who performed surgery on the right didn’t express the procedure as thorough as Dr. Stevens. Thanks Dr. Stevens, I’m seeing clearer and everything around me is much brighter.

I was greeted by the receptionist who had on purple scrubs. She was kind and patient and helpful while I was fumbling through "paperwork." She brought me to a waiting room where a female assistant wearing pink scrubs took my information. She was a great listener and helpful to keep me at ease while she administered a basic eye test and eye drops. I went back to the lobby until the doctor in blue scrubs took me to the examination room. He was attentive as well as professional. His conclusion helped relieve me of my concern about my eyes.
