Dr. Williams is an outstanding physician in every way. I knew something was going on with my eye and she was patient, compassionate, and understanding as she investigated what was going on. She was thorough and more than willing to go above and beyond, staying late and using all of her resources and colleagues to find out what was going on. She made it clear that my concern was important and urgent for her to figure out and followed up with me to ensure I was in good hands. Few physicians are as personable, knowledgeable, and caring as Dr. Williams!

I have been seeing Dr Williams for several years and she has taken care of many eye and facial issues for me including everything from cosmetic procedures to surgery to remove a growth. I even followed her from her previous practice—long drive and all!! Besides providing excellent care she has always been gentle, patient, and kind. I had a blepharoplasty done on my eyelids and I have to say I was really nervous but Dr Williams explained the whole procedure and made me feel so comfortable. I'm only 6 weeks post op and my eyes look amazing. I got nervous because its so hard to find a good doctor especially for the eyes. But I have to say what a great job she did. It takes a few months yet for the healing process. I cant wait. We did this for my vision and it was clear 2 days after surgery. I highly recommend Dr Williams and she has several offices so I didn't have to drive so far for my surgery. Thank you again Dr Williams

Dr. Kenya Williams is phenomenal! She is knowledgeable, professional, and has a wonderful bed-side manner. I have never met a ophthalmologist that takes the amount of time to properly diagnose a problem, and answer any and all questions during our visit. She goes the extra mile for her patients, for example, she has called me numerous times after visits to provide additional information, which has provided our family with peace of mind. She has also accommodated emergency visits for my family, which has been a lifesaver. We absolutely love her and would recommend her to anyone! In addition, the support staff including her receptionists and nurses are all amazing as well. They are always friendly, professional, and helpful every visit.

I scheduled an appointment to visit Dr. Williams for a painful itchy bump on my eyelid as well as for my 12y/o son who randomly complained of burning eyes. Our appointment was for the following week but by then my painful itchy bump resolved on its own. I still decided to keep my appointment since I had to take my son in as well. We had the last appointment for that day. When we arrived the assistant led us directly into the procedure room and was very accommodating and most pleasant. (Might I add, I brought my fussy and irritable 6mo old with us to the appointment). The assistant helped to settle and calm my 6mo old while I filled out the necessary paperwork. As soon as I completed the paperwork Dr. Williams entered, introduced herself and explained everything that would take place during this appointment for myself and son. Dr. Williams was very pleasant, knowledgeable and even patient, with a screaming infant in the room. She took the time to listen to my complaints of my then resolved eyelid bump and gave clear concise instructions on what to do if it should return. Dr. Williams listened intently with my son as well as spoke to him in a way that wasn’t demeaning just because of his age. Dr. Williams is a phenomenal physician with excellent patient care service. I ended up recommending my father go visit her as well.

I have seen Dr Williams a couple of times over the past three years for an orbital tumor and flashes in the eye. I would say that not only is Dr Williams extremely competent as an ophthalmologist, but is extremely sensitive and kind. Her staff and nurses are all the same, and follow Dr Williams ways. I would highly recommend making an appointment with Dr Williams at Rush University Medical Center, if you need a highly skilled ophthalmologist.

I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Williams and was extremely impressed by her thoroughness and bedside manner. I did have to wait a while for her once I arrived at my appointment but I could understand why. She spent a lot of time with me in the room. Not only did she take the time to listen to my issue but took her time explaining my care plan and it didn’t feel rushed. I was very comfortable with her and the care I received. Overall it was an exceptional experience and would highly recommend Dr. Williams.

I had an issue with a lesion on my right eye in May 2018. Dr. Kenya Williams performed surgery on it at Rush, and did an excellent job with the surgery and follow up after the surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Williams. She is a very knowledgeable medical professional in her field, and is kind and compassionate in her manner.

I have been looking for an opthalmologist for some time since my former provider retired several years ago. My son recently suffered a scary looking eye injury during a sports practice, and I am grateful that I was able to find Dr. Williams. She was able to get us in for an urgent appointment shortly after his injury occurred and completed a thorough examination of his eye. She also consulted with us following a scan of his face to rule out an orbital fracture. She was kind and patient (I had a ton of questions and concerns) at all times and we will definitely return.

I have an advance case of keratoconous.I had four cornea transplant all which felled. I had popped a few sutures and had an ulcer behind the left cornea. I was referred to Dr. Williams for an ocular enucleation. Dr Williams showed nothing but care and concern for me and my situation. She had her staff work with me to find a hospital where my surgery can be performed. I was told to come to the hospital at 6a to get prep for surgery at 10. Dr Williams came into my before the procedure to talk to me again about what the procedure was, approximately how long it would take, and what to expect afterwards.The staff kept my husband informed on the progress. I was sent home with the medication I needed and clear instruction on how to care for my eye until my follow up visit. Dr.Williams has treated me as if she has been following me since I was diagnosed with Keratoconous. Her bed side manner are like none I have ever seen. Not only do she treat the left eye, she also check on the health of my right eye. Dr Williams is caring, concerned and compassionate about her patients. If I had to start this journey over again I would chose Dr Williams as my Ophthalmologist. I would recommend Dr. Williams to anyone that need a good surgical Ophthalmologist.

Was referred by another Doctor for eyelid. Had dry eye amongst other issues, not only getting eyelid problem under control but getting other issues resolved as,well! Eyes haven't looked or felt better in months. So glad for referral. Staff always got back with when I called. Kind of Dr's I look for. Rare these days.

Dr. Williams is wonderfull!! Recently saw her for excessive tearing and redness. I thought it was due to my dry eyes. Turned out I had swollen tear ducts. My problem is now resolved. Dr. Williams was very kind and thorough, explaining everything. Highly recommend her !

Dr. Williams helped my crows feet with Botox. I'm really fair and bruise easily but not with the careful hands of Dr. Williams! She's excellent, professional and gentle. I will definitely continue to see her.
