Reviews of Musical Legends Park

Had passed this place a few times while in New Orleans. Was glad I was able to finally stop, the place has a really cool setup and is decorated nice with lots of history involved. They have food, drinks, and snacks. For sure recommend you checking the place out if you are in the area... lots of seating and they even had live music during my visit.
Steven Rank
A great little plaza to go in have a drink a little some food and listen this song good old blues music. You stand in line order your food get your number and get seated and in no time at all Server is bringing her your plates. Just a very comfortable place to hang out
Jeff Holmes
The area is nice with good music. The restaurant In the area had poor tasting food. The "Shrimp Po Boy" was bread with shrimp. I got some veggies to put on it but there was nothing to add flavor. The bartender was slow . The park is 5 star. The restaurant is 1 star. So I rated the overall experience a 3.
Colleen Paxton
No Outside food or drink, and a staff member to enforce it. Free music show.
Wandered in here one evening to grab some beignets from Café Beignet and listen to the live local Jazz music.
We sat at the small wrought metal table and chairs right in front of the band stand and listened to the band as we tried not to get powdered sugar everywhere.
Very fun and pleasant way to spend a calm Sunday evening.
Derrick
Great little spot in the middle of all the action but with a vibe all its own. Good food, even better Hurricanes that taste so good, you wont feel it until it hits you. Great live music and relaxed atmosphere.
Julie Arick
Eating here was pleasant and enjoyable. There was live music for entertainment. The chocolate covered beignets were delicious! They came out fresh and hot! The red beans and rice and turkey club sandwich were very tasty! The local sparrows were begging for crumbs...lol 🐦 …
Mark Kofman
It is stunning! Absolutely authentic for the famous, legendary New Orleans French Quarter! Live music, crazy jazz, super tasty ... Just a dream!
John Owens
Great music. Better for us when we spotted stairs to an upper level which was more relaxed. Not somewhere i would go to eat but a nice atmosphere
Praveen Sr
Catch some amazing jazz from the Steamboat Willie band here, with Larry Stoops on the vocals and trumpet. They have been playing here for the past many decades with Larry joined by a rotating array of musicians. Have Beignet or jambalaya, the southern breakfast or the other New orlean cuisine from the cafe beignet or a hurricane cocktail from the bar, while you listen to the music. Watchout for the little birds that fly in occasionally to listen to the music and munch on the sugar dust from the beignets on the floor.
Bethany Spitzmiller
It's a calmer spot on Bourbon street, which is nice, but the drinks are kind of expensive and not the best tasting. Also, when we got there, the music immediately stopped, which kind of sucked. The waitress was really nice though.
Nick Ferguson
Pretty busy for in-between breakfast and lunch. They offer all meal options when open which is nice. The shrimp po-boy was plentiful but shrimp lacked flavor and was basic fried shrimp on a very good French baguette. The dressed aspects of a traditional sandwich was lacking. Needed some good remilad sauce and seasoning.
The crawfish omelet was not bad. Again a dish that needed some kick and not worry about the tourists that can't handle spice. The grits were good but the tiny piece of French bread toast was pathetic. Overall not a horrible experience but would be great if they kicked the meal size up and added more flavor. For items that were both $12.00 each not the best value. Step up the game and money would flow more.
Joanna Jardin
Cozy spot to relax and listen to some live music. The performers are very talented and are sure to keep you entertained!
There is a bar, cafe, and restrooms in the park.
Paul Siano
What a fun atmosphere ! What great music ! Could have spent all day listening ! By the time we left it was packed ! The host was spectacular knew the city and had great food recommendations for other meals !
Sursi Landis
Passed by and was totally drawn great music and delightful atmosphere. Nice Garden with shade, bar and great band.
Adela Unaldilar
We loved it here. Of course you have to try the beignets, they were delicious. The red beans and rice are also a must!
Bob Huff
One of my favorite places to visit when in Nola. The Beignets are great. The beer is cold. The music is awesome. Not to be missed when in town.
Jason Jenkins
Great music, light atmosphere during the day...it's on Bourbon Street, so the nights are full of energy. The biegnet are a MUST!!!
Gina Reinke
Great park to relax with jazz music and little bite to eat . Must try !
ashley
The atmosphere was great and wonderful place to watch jazz music is a quietish area even though we were on Bourbon St
Stayc
It's 2:15 p.m on a Monday and this place is buzzing with live music and people having cocktails from the bar and beingets from Cafe Beingets.
abe smalley
The music is pretty good. But the band we saw was thirsty for applause and tips. There timing was a bit off as well. It was nice to have a bit of live music while we ate. But; there was at least three other bars we past that were playing better music. More of a tourist trap that anything. Don't order the royal croissant. Again... Not the best band=thirsty for applause and tips. C-

I had a lovely experience here. The staff was friendly and inviting with the exception of one rude man I had an encounter with other than that I enjoyed the beautiful live music and the beginets were piping hot and so fluffy. I couldn't eat my entire order right then but later on when it cooled down it was still delicious.
Arlie Liverman
We visited the Beignet Cafe on Bourbon street. We ordered the beignets, a muffuletta sandwich, and an alligator bite drink. The sandwich was absolutely to die for! The olive salad they put on it was delicious and went really well with the meats and cheeses all toasted on a sesame Italian bun. The Beignets were good. They kind of reminded me of a funnel cake in some ways. But softer and fluffier. They also had a live jazz band there playing. They sounded really well and added to the ambience and atmosphere making it an ideal spot to sit and enjoy a taste of Bourbon Street.❤👌
Marilyn Terry
Live music and Beignets from Cafe Beignet are always a great way to experience NOLA.
Pedro Colón
A bit chilly, but the Cafe Beignet and the music really elevated the experience
Zachary Hunter
Tasty beignets and great jazz. Skip the dumonde line and get them here.
John Gray
Music was great, service acceptable and food good.
Rich Heaton
Get the beignets. Please. They were fantastic. Coffee and hot chocolate were great and the live music made for an amazing experience along Bourbon St.
Anneka Pycroft
Great outdoor space with live music, gets busy pretty quickly with snacks and drinks that you can purchase from inside. Band played Frank Sinatra all night……tips expected- one of the only outdoor venues with live music
Davin Kyle
Beignet, Done That! We lucked out and got the seasonal peppermint mocha beignets,mmm.... A lot of the hotels have the little discount so that you can get a free coffee drink with any purchase! Great music and beautiful scenery!
Mike Higdon
A respite from the craziness of Bourbon Street. Nice courtyard with a jazz musician playing timeless classics. Stubble upon this place looking for the Cafe Beignet. Sat at a wrought iron table and chairs to enjoy our fried delight and coffee au lait and absorbed the music.
Ryan Vetack
Our favorite breakfast during our trip. Much more relaxing than fighting the crowds for the famous beignets! (Plus, I actually proffered the fluffier style of the beignets at the cafe in this park!)
Chris Ford
Amazing environment, very relaxing live music.
Pamela Stone
Very cool place right in the French Quarter
Joe S
Great vibe
Awesome location.
Went there 4 times in a weekend
Coffee and beignets
Drinks all very tasty
Nancy Wong
Wonderful place for cafe, beignet or an adult beverage while enjoying the amazing live jazzy music!
rob biehl
Fun atmosphere. Beignets are better than most othe areas. Decent bar with a mix of drinks
Joanne Jarman
Super fun place to hang out, listen to music and grab a bite. It was our first stop when we visited NOLA and it was the perfect introduction to the city!
Cristal Schorn
Listened to a jazz band play here while I had some beignets. Good breeze, nice atmosphere.
Laura Clingman
I just had to check out this park before I left the area. Even though it was closed, I could still get pictures. Next time I hope I'm able to see it open.
Stacie Papineau
No better place to have escaped the rain! The guys even sang a song about my tail!
Nohemy Hernandez
Cafe Beignet's powdery goodness is way better than the "other guys."
Add the live jazz and vibrant ambiance= score!!!
Catherine Wilson
Lovely outdoor cafe with jazz bands.
vivian Liu
love it. Cafe Beignet , have beverages and Beignet. Ice cold water, cocktails. Live music was such beautiful. Out of mind. Really good place be with kids and music. Bar have age limits
Louise Rose
So good here!!! The band that was playing while we where there was amazing, the place itself is so good with statues of music legends and lots of music themed decor, the beautiful water feature in the middle is a nice touch. The choice of food and drink that is on offer is really good something for everyone.
John Rislove
A nice place to grab a drink or something to eat. Great statues and luce music.
Katherine Damisch
This place has a great atmosphere, but like everything on Bourbon Street it is very crowded and music is loud. At the same time, it's a great little spot in the heart of it all, and away from all the weed dealers.
Farkhad Jumayev
Great place to escape the crowd and loud music. Nice atmosphere.
Matthew Dullaghan
A lovely way to start the evening with drinks and a little good Jazz. Thanks Steamboat Willie!
Tara Trudeau
Love the live music as we ate breakfast outside!
maryv. jordan
Enjoyed listening to live entertainment, drinking coffee and eating Beignets. There is a bar if you want something stronger than coffee 🙂 …
Andrea C. Harrison
Great place to listen to music and have a cup of coffee. Much more relaxed and calm from the wild times on Bourbon Street.
Mike Butcher
Frozen drinks were great and so was the live music, but we were sitting close to the garage and a rat ran by, so we left.
Abhishek Sharan
It is a very nice jazz place. They have live jazz which is great. The food and drinks are good too. They also have a coffee shop inside. The seating area is open. It is in the middle of bourbon street so you will not miss it if you visit French quarters.
Mike
Late night beignets as the band finished playing. Tucked off Bourbon Street.
V C.
Live music, drinks and food. They have a lot of seating and it was much cooler in there. The bathrooms were dirty.
Dr. Terrie S Reed
Musical Legends Park is home to Cafe Beignets. One order of Beignets is $3.99; so, of course I ordered 2 sets, lol! That warm, crispy and golden brown dough with TONS of powered sugar. Add a Mojito Margarita for extra flavor. Music playing from the Trio band and people coming and going makes the perfect mixture of a great afternoon.
Owen Jin
Great place to relax with kids and enjoy some beignets. Live music at night, and can get busy; recommend going right after sunset to get a seat.
Diane V
Very well kept but places like this always require up keep. Worth a visit, great history of area.
Kashif-ul Huda
Another great place to enjoy music with kids. If you arrive in the morning there are very few people here so head to on site cafe, order coffee and breakfast and enjoy some great music in a very relaxed environment.
Music is free but tips are appreciated and best of all bands take requests. Park has statues of some local music legends. This place does get crowded later in the day but if you are patient enough you can still get a seat.
Also, don't have to buy anything to enjoy music. Highly recommended.
Jason Schwass
Great spot to grab a beignet and listen to live music.
Tom P
Not a park, more like a large courtyard between two buildings. They have a small shop that sells some treats, and a bar. There is live jazz music, and some statues of jazz legends.
Keith Shirley
A nice place to stop and enjoy some jazz music. They have snacks and a bar. The bartender was cranky and unpleasant and I really didn't want to go and order more drinks just because of that but otherwise a good experience.
Trishna Sharma
Came here for the brunch and jazz at Cafe Beignet. Loved the jazz, loved the patio, loved the bar, and loved the food! I got the veggie sandwich and really liked the patty.
Sevak Ohanyan
Great atmosphere, very nice service and people. Seems very chill.
Kee S
Lovely place for breakfast or a relaxing coffee (and of course Beignets). Feels like a different world to the chaos of Bourbon Street. Only negative is that they don't have decaff coffee!
Scott Bright
Had red beans and rice for breakfast while listening to live music. What a way to start the day. Great food, atmosphere, and music.
Michael DeSchalit
Loved Steamboat Willie. Security was a little too aggressive. Back off, it's not the pentagon.
Luis Pérez
Nice music and environment. Tried the beignets but they were too big and tasted a bit undercooked.
Dave Heilman
An excellent venue to get a feel for Bourbon street
Very good music.
Nicholas
This little courtyard grabbed my attention right away once I saw the live band playing. It was a nice place to take a break and have a seat or maybe get a bite to eat or refill your drink.
Jennifer Bell
Great spot to sit sip eat and listen to music!
Dan Dyer
Seating is outside, there was live music playing, small tables, drinks are available, great place to stop an enjoy a bite an a drink
Sarah Pugmire
Really great place to have a drink & beignets while listening to some authentic New Orleans jazz.
Gus O'Neil
A nice place to sit and hear live jazz on Bourbon Street. Hours vary for the restaurant on site and bathrooms are not always open.
Stacey Stephens
A small courtyard with live jazz, great place to get Beignets (even the option of chocolate drizzle), a drink, or several coffee options.
Tien Sydnor-Campbell
Live music, coffee and beignets on a cool Saturday afternoon was actually perfect, even in this weather. Just stop, listen, eat, drink and tip the musicians.
wendy crispell
Early morning music with Irish Coffee and Beignets. I actually avoid Bourbon Street but this is a cute, chill place to listen to local music for free. Friendly service too.
cynthia willis
Great live music and outdoor setting. Food was good, but know that it is a SMALL PORTION. Even smaller than typical side dish. Dish about 3.5 inches across and serving one inch deep. Prices appear fair on menu, but when food arrives you see it as a total rip off tourist trap.
David Ervin
Stopped in here for a simple lunch. I had a club sandwich that was short on meat (no ham or bacon). They had a band playing and the music was nice. Good atmosphere but a little short on filling the sandwich. Tasted very good for what was there. Had good service. Little outdoor place on the side of Bourbon Street. Little courtyard with a small restaurant and band and some historical statues.
Trevor Bingham
Very cool place. They've got jazz music playing while you can enjoy some refreshment.
Justin Miller
I ordered Beniet here they were just as good if not better than cafe beniet. Thank you
Jeffrey Jordan
I really like musical legend Park, it is right off of Bourbon Street has nice sit-down areas and a cafe and bar the service is really good and they had an outdoor heater lamps to keep you warm at night really enjoyed it there and they have beignets that tasted good. If you're in the area and need a quick bite and a drink that's the place to go.
Lauren Caiafa
One of my favorite places in NOLA. I look forward to visiting every time I go.
Michael Collins
Bit of a mish mash of park stuff, and with a few weirdly unloved buildings gradually falling in to disrepair. Nice enough break from city madness though.
Flaronica Allen
Love the live music 🎶 …
Tyler Miller-Gordon
Great place to grab a snack and listen to some jazz in the courtyard with the plants and birds!
Jan T
A pleasant refuge from Bourbon St where bands play NO jazz and played 2 of my requests. Begnets and other food available. Metal chairs a little hard.
Cameron Garber, DPT
Awesome spot right near the action without the craziness of Bourbon street. Great music, amazing food and a good time had. Wish I could've stayed and hung out longer. Loved eating the beignets too! Would definitely recommend stop by to chill and kill some time there. It was a great was to relax after a long day.
Chris Todd
It's a delightful place to visit if you happen to be vacationing in New Orleans.
Sandra Edwards
Oh my, a wonderful treat - live jazz band. They loved performing and we responded enthusiastically. The leader/drummer was so knowledgeable and educated us. Thank you Park Service for presenting this gift.
George S. Mercier
Like an island oasis in the middle of a sea of piss and puke and porn. This place make trudging through the drunks on Bourbon St. worth it. The bar has good drinks, the kitchen has good food, and Steam Boat Willie has got the music lined up and his trumpet in hand. You won't regret a visit here.
Deryk Martinez
Great food and ambiance. Prices are pretty fair and the wait times to get your food are kept fairly short. Great for a quick bite or cup of coffee
Patricia Hood
Great atmosphere , loved the vibe and band
Josie Q-Rubio
Very nice place to have hot chocolate and listen to the live bands.
Verlee Gilkerson
This is where Cafe Beignet is located seating and music are a New Orleans tradition.
Vanessa Blansett
Kick your feet up and enjoy some jazz and blues 🎶🎺🎷🎶
I always make a point of stopping here. Strong Drinks 🍹🍸 …
Glamour Bot
The food was amazing ✨ I got some beignets there, and they were swell, there was a band playing jazz there, unfortunately I can't remember the name but they were really good.
jerry wiatrowski
Great place to eat and with super great music too! Love the red beans and rice!!
Bridget Grobler
Wonderful experience, good music. The place to get a flavor of Louisiana
scott meek
Always a pleasure - the statues, the jazz playing, the beignets. This is always the first place we go for breakfast when we visit. Do get the beignets, but be aware, they are massive and filling, and one order is easily enough for two people. Maybe a normal person can eat two of them. But they are fantastic, as is the staff. Definitely a great little spot to stop by. Avoid Cafe du Monde and come here instead - you'll be glad you did.
Lisbeth Verenzuela
Great family place! An oasis in all the craziness of Bourbon Street. The drinks are average however the waitress are nice. The music is amazing. Highly recommended
Mini PCs
Watched an proper jazz/blues band on our first evening here. The vibe was just sooo cool. Really enjoyed it and I'm not a jazz fan.
Tim Guillama
A nice place to sit and enjoy some music for awhile and escape the chaos of Bourbon St for a moment.
Justin Bowen
This place is a nice chill place right off of Bourbon street. If you need a calmer oasis here is a great place for that
Janelle Rock
Great place to sit, listen to live music, eat a beneit and grab a drink
The Professional Tourist
Great live music. Good food. Good people.
Corey Anderson
I like the atmosphere of this location and the variety of choices on the menu, but once I got my food I was disappointed. This was my first stop for food in New Orleans and the Po Boy bread was rock hard and the gumbo broth just tasted like sausage water, no seasoning. Maybe I just didn't order the right things. I'll say that the shrimp on its own is good and mixing that into the gumbo helped too.
Josephine March
Great tunes, fun, family friendly atmosphere. The beignet's were just okay but still had a great time!
Ben Stillson
Delicious food at decent prices, fast courteous service, and great ambiance. We were there on a Sunday around noon.
John Harvey
Great band, nice venue with good drinks.
Jason Miller
Cool spot for coffee, beignets & jazz music.

Husband & I enjoyed a beer while listening to the Jazz trio that was playing. Nice, unexpected outdoor patio & atmosphere in the midst of the Bourbon Street hustle.
Cris DosSantos
Great spot to listen to live Jazz and drink a few cocktails.
Scott Mace
We came here for a couple of hours each night .. they offer a great selection of drinks and food .. no cover charge or drink purchase required.
Wanda Powell
Great outdoor jazz spot! Chocolate drizzle beignets 😋
NOLA experience-definitely go there? …
Laura LovelyLady
The music was great, and the Beignets were excellent!
Amanda
You have to run up to the bar to get a drink.. but that's fine.
Went during the day and it was an older crowd.. thoroughly enjoyed myself
Derrick Buford
Was and ok place not to bad food was over cooked
Scott Bayer
Love this place! Fish platter is delicious and Red beans & Rice are awesome!

Jaime Lacayo C.
Nice place to sit down and relax for a few minutes. They hace beignets and drinks.
Desiree D'Alessandro
Amazing location to escape the heat and enjoy beignets! WAY better than Cafe Du Monde!!!
Ther0
It is more a 'little Plaza' than a park. The almost constant presence of a small band playing some music is also nice.
Lucas Martino
Amazing music and ambiance, haven't tried the food, but the bar is excellent
Sam Trevethyen
Very cool space, great location, live music was amazing.
Sheri S
Comfortable, relaxing place, music was not so loud that you could not have a conversation. Was there with a group. We had a nice evening
donna walters
live bands every day that are fantastic, clean tables tò eat at and the food and drinks are well priced and taste great.
Randall Bowles
Fine ambience, good live entertainment and delicious beignettes.
Gladys Zavport
The ambient is nice, but food is terrible
Laura Sanchez
While traveling to New Orleans we found this hidden gem. They were the only place we found playing real Jazz. While you do have to purchase a food item to buy alcohol they are definitely worth the purchase. I loved they played live jazz. If your looking for a place to sit, eat, relax, and enjoy some live jazz this is the place. Don't forget to tip the band playing before you leave! They earn their living off tips. Swing by you'll enjoy it!
Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there was only 1 restrooms for everyone to use and it didn't flush well and it wasn't the cleanest.
Raymundo D Piñones
Just ask for a drink and enjoy. If you visit New Orleans you MUST spend at least an hour here.
Maurizio Covatta
The night I was there, Jazz was played. Perfect music to a perfect night out with the wife.
Matthew Charles
The lady and I came here twice during our visit. The band was played a lot of old tunes. The weather was nice, felt good to be outside. We ordered Beignets and had a few drinks. Everyone from the gentleman at the door to the bartender were so nice. Definitely stop in and relax a bit.
Elizabeth Guzman
Live entertainment with amazing beats! Worth spending time to enjoy it while sipping a drink from next door cafe.
Rachel Neeley
Huge beignets and great coffee in this quaint little patio right on Bourbon street. We sat here listening to the jazz trio for a while and warmed up with coffee on a cold day in New Orleans.
Jaime Simon
Great place to grab a quick bite and listen to music. Menu is a tad small, hence the four stars vs five, but the staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful.
Kohlton Fry
Great place to eat breakfast or lunch and enjoy live music! Don't forget to tip the musicians! They are great!
Dianah Brandt
Great music, food and atmosphere!
Cassidy Reed
Beautiful and lively music, the crowd was small but it made for a very intimate performance!
Oli
Beautiful outside, live music any time, good Coffee.
Viviana Sanchez
The BEST place we went to for FRESH Beignets!!! We tried 3 popular places while in New Orleans, Cafe Beignets is hands down the best in out opinion...
AM
The atmosphere is great, relaxed and cozy. Great hearing live music away from the street noise while grabbing a quick bite. The bartender was miserable though. Really made the whole experience flat. I understand a bad a day but she just really brought my mood down. Thankfully the musicians were able to cheer me back up. Super huge kudos to them for playing on when the courtyard was quiet and people weren't giving them their props! Another example of Nola resilience.
Joe Carter
Nice pit stop for coffee or beignets
Pedro Curcio
Beignets, coffee, good jazz...pleasant place!💯 …
Melissa Bates
The jazz band plays fabulous music while enjoying a drink or a bite to eat. Great atmosphere.
Keitra McClure
I heard all the rave about Their beignets are the best!!! And I was not disappointed. They were crisp outside and light & fluffy inside. We sat right near the live band. The vibe was chill and celebratory (maybe it was the upbeat music) I tried the seafood platter and it was not tasty. I don't think that is their specialty. I'll be back for the beignets!!
Sarah Shearrow
Super cool place to enjoy some beignets!
Francina Thomas
Great place to listen to the jazz band - have a nice frozen drink and Beignets
Jo Jo
Beautiful place to grab breakfast and seat down and your meal while listening to good Jazz. Highly recommended for a great peaceful time.🎭🎭🎭🃏🃏🃏 …
Cynthia Specht
Great food, great subiste, great live music, and great location!
Kimberly Edwards
The music was inviting and relaxing. The statues were nicely spaced for everyone to enjoy.
William Martin
Great little spot to eat and take in some jazz music. The food was good, the menu was small and pricey. The court yard it was in was beautiful and the little birds were playing in the fountain. The pastries were huge and wonderful. If your walking around bourbon street and need a good place to sit and relax I recommend it.
Bruce Kim
Cozy and quiet jazz atmosphere where you can find a seat. Weather needs to cooperate. It was nice and breezy when I came by.
Jimetta Matthews
Enjoyed the displays. Music was mediocre on the day I went.
Ham Salad
Really nice food served right by here and the atmosphere is neat!
Robert Bower (Citywurkor)
Really neat venue. Live music with great food.
Vernatta Lee
Great drinks, music, and vibe! Visited multiple times during our stay.
Greg Whitaker
Great spot to have a seat, grab a drink, and enjoy some live music!
Kateryna Ilikchiieva
This is a place with live music. And jazz is always a good idea to spend time.
Vic Pinto
Cool place for outside jazz and beer
LaToya Cathcart
Super cute outdoor spot right off Bourbon Street. Live music and Hurricanes...what more could you ask for? The area is contained behind a gate with security controlling the capacity of the crowd which kept things comfortable.
J Hawk
Food is ok, frozen drinks are good but the beer supply lines need cleaning and made my Dixie lager way skunked. Live music almost all the time, outdoor venue but they have a canopy and heaters. Nice laid-back spot in the middle of hard partying. Also very good restrooms, easy to access.
K G (Artdude)
Go there and see Steamboat Willy almost every night of the week. They are great and can play basically any request if you stuff some money in the bucket.
Greg Roderick
The atmosphere is nice to hear some music that's not part of the craziness of the Bourbon Street crowd. You can get a drink or dessert and relax a little bit. If you want something more to fill your tank, there are better food options near by.
Adrie Gaskins
This was one of my favorite spots on Bourbon street!
We were on a family trip and we hadn't visited Nola for years, but we had the best memories!
We were walking on Bourbon Street back to our hotel when we passed this bar and my grandma started dancing to some nice Jazz.
The ambiance seemed so nice we decided to stay and grab a table. A waitress was there to bring drinks to the table, and there was a little shop with limited selection of food and coffee if you were there for dinner.
We got there really early in the evening, and as the hours passed the placed started getting fuller by the minute.
We saw different jazz groups and bands and of course you had people dancing and cheering!
While we were supposed to go back to our hotel we ended up there for the rest of the night!
It was a wonderful experience outdoors with music and drinks.
And even while been an open and outdoors area, you have bathrooms available! They always come in handy!!
amantastic
Loved this place! So nice to hear live music again! There is a little cafe and bar. Nice staff, wonderful music. Don’t forget to tip the musicians!
Tracey Rendall
Great atmosphere good music.
Britton Ingraham (VWingAUDIbrit)
It was a cool place to sit down
Gina Perez
Fun place. Older crowd. Great Jazz music.
Fiona Pittman
The music is very loud. It is understandable that you would want people but here for the street but it hurts the ear of nearby people
Reyna Martinez
What can I say I just loved this place. Ambiance great! Music great! Kuddos to the band. The tables/chairs make the atmosphere more perfect to enjoy nice jazz. Bathrooms could be a little cleaner. But everything else just great!
Chris VanLear
Loved the live music playing during the mea, great atmosphere. Did take a while to get our food but as busy as it was I understand
Alicia Archer
Beautiful little courtyard! Little iron Cafe tables and chairs to sit and enjoy. There's a little bar in the back as well as a Cafe Beinet. There was a live jazz band playing and the ambiance was awesome! Lots of people watching to be had here.
Tuoc P
Like the vibe and the music, the food was just okay.
Stuart Brown
Really nice place to sit, chill, enjoy a cold beer and watch some live music. Although it's on Bourbon Street it feels like a world away. The staff, from Cafe Beignet, were always nice and friendly and the service is really quick even when busy. Make sure you've got a few dollar bills to hand to tip the musicians and waiters - they deserve it.
Bobbi Puckett
Great breakfast, live jazz at 9am. Loved the feel of this place.
Jan M
Great outdoor spot to grab some Beignet and a drink and listen to live music. When we went, it had just stopped raining but people were still enjoying a nice meal or drink and enjoying the music. It would be a beautiful and probably busy spot in the summer!
Thomas Johnson
Cool outdoors spot for live jazz, drinks and food!
Miron Ignacio
They have cafe beignet and free music
QFRIEND
Absolutely enjoyed sitting there listening to the music and having my morning coffee. It is outside or we said and is very quaint. We are heading back to the French Quarter at the end of June 2018. And we will absolutely be stopping back to have breakfast at this location. I would highly recommend this location for breakfast and coffee. And the live music was a nice touch.
camelia stanciu
Perfect for a quick snack and jazz. Life music outside all day long.
Mike Davis
Nice oasis from the senseless debauchery on Bourbon. Authentic New Orleans music, decent selection of snacks. Avoid the frozen drinks.
Steven Patterson
Very cool spot. A courtyard that has a stage for live music, outdoor seating, a bar, and some small bites as well. Location was nice - easy to move around. Service at the bar was great (Moira) and the gumbo was decent too.
Steve 22
Cool area. Great beignets. Clouds of THC everywhere, be prepared
X Violeta
Great jazz music. It's tucked in and drowns most of the loudness from Bourbon street. They have drinks, food and plenty of seating. A small dance floor but I feel like not many dance. Most like myself enjoy the music while resting from all the walking.
Laura P. Bueno.-
Excellent place to go and enjoy live jazz while you eat beignets and hot chocolate
Alexis Alexis
This was the view from the park, not a picture of the park. The park was very beautiful.
Pieter Ras
A family friendly, outside music venue with decent food.
Hilton Jones
For us old folks it's a pleasure to hear traditional jazz in a free setting during the daytime. You can get drinks, but it's not a boosey ambiance. Good for families, also the food is pretty good too. Early evening with Steamboat Willie for the best band.
Matt Hoover
Loved the atmosphere, music was amazing.
Ted Lee
pretty cool place to hang out with live music, beignet, and drinks
Yes I am
Great hang out spot. Food is ok. Drinks ok. Nice spot to sit, chill and listen to some music.
Blake Nicolas
Awesome vibe and great music. Frozen mojitos at the bar were very refreshing
Leonard Perez
Awesome Place.. Cool Music and reasonable prices for Food and Drinks.
Caroline Onwuemeli-Peters
The live band is everything along with the outdoor space makes for a magical afternoon.
Bryan Kollar
The music was live and the drinks were strong. The Cafe Beignet is attached to it and makes some decent fried food. Steamboat Willie is fun to watch he plays all the classics. All around good time.
alexybaba
Excellent service, great staff and tasty food.
We always tend to come here when we are up for a quick bite or brunch.
There’s always live music and it goes very well with the atmosphere.
My two favorites are the beignets and muffuletta.
Trent Kugler
A great place to catch jazz concerts throughout the day with some outdoor tables and chairs. There's a Cafe Beignet tucked in the back with a public restroom, so it's a nice place to grab a drink and relax for awhile.
UCL Ambrose
If you want to hear some great music then check this venue!
Christine Campbell
This is a great place to sit down and listen to some live jazz music in a very pretty environment. The only downside is the drinks are overly sweet and the beignets are ridiculously heavy and greasy compared to the originals at Cafe Du Monde. Come here to enjoy the live music and the environment, don't come here if you want drinks and beignets!
Sue Depree
Fantastic.. Great jazz music and atmosphere
Corey Cohen
One of my favorite spots to relax in the city. They have a cafe that serves coffee, beignets, baked goods, lunch and dinner, as well as a full bar. If you don't feel like eating or drinking you can just sit and listen to the live music that is always playing, even early in the morning. I'd recommend bringing a little cash to tip the musicians with.
Elizabeth Moser
A must visit on bourbon Street. A great spot to hear live music, enjoy the sunshine, drinks and food.
stan beatty
Excellent little place to sit and listen to great New Orleans music
Joseph Murphy
Cool place to walk though at night!
Peter Qian
Free jazz performance but probably one of the best band we saw on NOLA.
Lisandro Chavez
One of the best time in New Orleans!! Good live Jazz music.🎺📯🎼🎶 …
Krishan Perera
Jazz at its very best. Unadulterated, simple and simply amazing! We had to sit on the ground of approx 50 people watching Will Smith and his band, who performed one of my best ever jazz and blues experiences! Highly recommended if anyone is visiting New Orleans for music
Joel Reed
Cannot bring outside drinks inside the location. Excellent customer service from everyone including the security guard who was nice both days i visited. Good Live Music! It's Located in the middle of the party on Bourbon street But has its own vibe, classy vibe. This is just my opinion, my Girlfriend in her Twenties states: She Loves this spot.
Kaitlyn Herder
So. Beautiful. We found it on accident, if you're walking down Bourbon Street the music draws you in. Some amazing jazz, feel free to dance and stay awhile! Apparently you can get fried crawfish nearby, so also a great place to bring food and just sit & enjoy.
Mike Buckley
Really enjoyed this place. This place has live bands through out the day. It has a cafe in the back and a bar. They have tableside servers some of the time but they only do drinks for the bar. If you want coffee, food or beignets you have to go through the cafe line. They give you the drinks there but will bring your food to the table. (The reason for only 4 stars) That being said downbut more time here than any other cafe. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. 🎷🎶
rj s
Great place to drink coffee and eat a light breakfast. Right in the Fresch Quarter you'll need to get here early, but, it's well worth it especially if you're an early riser anyway. Everything seemed fun in NOLA.
Bev Becker
Legends park is nice. Steamboat Willie always puts on a good jazz show for everyone. The drinks are reasonable. They have beignets here too. They're yummy! Definitely check it out to get a taste of New Orleans jazz when you visit.
Wayne Butler
Favorite place to get out of the sun and grab a cold one and listen to some great local jazz.
Truly Travels
Great place for live music
Bruno Rivera
Great place to have breakfast, lunch and brunch. The beanets are very good here. Live jaz band playing all day. Just be ready to wait cuz it's always packed. Enjoy and ask for the cajun hashbrowns.
Michael McLaughlin
Impressed with the music, staff, and overall vibe that this park manages to pump out. They don't hold their bathroom hostage nor keep anyone from just checking things out. As a result I sat for a drink and the bar staff went out of their way to make drinks that were off menu without complaint. This is a gem worth checking on a street that is often over hyped.
Alexander Quint
My favorite spot in the French Quarter. Great live music every day and the atmosphere is more quiet than in the rest of Bourbon St. Also there is a cafe which is pretty good. Prices for non-alcoholic beverages are reasonable.
Gloria O'Neal
Beautiful outdoor venue! Misters for the heat!Great jazz band. We only had drinks, great service, but I can't speak for the food. But the beignets looked good, but can you go wrong with those? Po'boys looked good if that helps.
PAUL MEYERS
Great experience. Beautiful music.
M G
Very good covid precautions, good food, good music and beautiful place.
Alyse P.
Beautiful setting, live music on the weekends.
There is plenty of outside seating, but it fills up fast, especially when live music is playing.
I ordered beignets and a blended cafe au lait. They paired together phenomenally! The two cashiers I encountered there were very polite and informative. Be sure to grab plenty of napkins, those beignets were bathing in powered sugar, as to be expected. Let's just say the powered all over my dress and face were beyond worth it!
I was able to grab a seat right by the fountain, nice setting for a Sunday night
Timothy Roberts
If you're in the French Quarter this is a perfect place to end the day before heading back to the hotel. Our family ended up going back every night of our trip. If you don't go you'll be missing out on some awesome memories. I recommend leaving by eight thirty or nine if you have younger children. Be sure and take some cash to tip the musicians.
James Singleton
Fun outdoor space with great frozen drinks.
Jessica Murillo
Calm atmosphere in the center of the Bourbon chaos. Very relaxing. We loved it!
David Heathcote
A good place to chill out, listen to jazz, and grab a bite. Food served is simple, fresh and good. Bar has a good selection of beer and local mixed drinks. Plenty of shade and entertainment. A good rest stop to recharge after site seeing.
Brian Spoonire
Didnt eat or drink here so I won''t rate higher or lower.
Wonderful open-air courtyard that features live music.
Has hard metal chairs to survive the rain, and yea it rains. Bring what comforts you, pillow or raincoat.
Is often loud and busy, so resulting complications to ordering food and alcoholic beverages can arise.
VAi Vij
Amazing drinks n fans to keep you cool in warm weather. The time I visited there was a very good babe playing n they performed really well. Had super fun n was a nice change from the bar hopping scene! Would definitely recommend
Albert Faustino
Worth every minute, great drinks and live bands
Zaira Cabrera
Really liked this place. Great place to seat and relax listening to live jazz. Even though it's on Bourbon St you feel you are away of the craziness. Have a drink or eat a beignet. Amazing place.
Natasha Watson - Victory
Live band was great and people could request songs. Very dirty, and the bins at the back of the seating area smelled terrible. Bar staff didn't even crack a smile. Plenty of seating.
Stacey Fredericks
Had good food and lots of fun
Akram Ashour
Nice, cool, a cosy garden in Burbon St, live Jazz almost all day
Sun Hwa Yoo
Great Jazz live existed. Enjoy it.
Lé Nailtique Noire Inc.
One great Experience! Got to taste some original beignets. They were so tasty. My mom first time in nawlins she loved it. The band was live and sweet. We will definitely go back!
kenrd03
This was my favorite place in Louisiana to eat. Their food was amazing, and the live jazz music they played while we were there really made you feel apart of the Louisiana culture
Robert Davis
I love coming here. The nightly live music that is offered, Steamboat Willie and his band are always great. Drink prices are a bit pricey, but it's New Orleans and your on Bourbon Street. Food prices are not too bad, but some may feel too much for sandwiches. 1st tip, if you are a bigger person, seats are a bit uncomfortable. Tip 2: you cannot bring outside food and drinks in, this includes water. 3rd tip: to sit at the tables you must order something, but you can sit around fountain or retaining wall if you do not order.
John Corcoran
This is one of the nicer little spots off Bourbon Street. In fact it's the only nice spot off Bourbon Street where you can sit during the day and have a drink listen to some good music and not be bothered by the street bums offering to eat out your wife for free. Oh well, that's Bourbon Street at noon nowadays.
Joy Crockett
The bathroom was disgusting, besides that it's a beautiful setting, a calm spot in the city. Misting fans everywhere and a lot of good history on local musicians. Good bands playing and not overly loud.
Becca Burford
Very cool spot!
mma 12
Live music, food and resting place on Bourbon Street.
Janelle Baker
Live jazz here was awesome, great crowd interaction. We went two evenings we liked it so much! Also patio heaters, which was great when the evening turned cold.
B Joseph
The cafe beignet is the park is awesome. We enjoyed the live music and the ambience. I'll definitely be back on my next visit.
Judith Walker
Beautiful memorial and place to relax and reflect new orleans
J C
The best music and delicious Beignets. I really recommend
Josephine Kelton
Live music, and outdoor seating was a bit of a challenge with the wind but we enjoyed it. Didn't care for the grits but crawfish omlette was good.
William Nathan
This was a nice place to have a drink, listen to music and kill some time before our dinner reservations. Chairs are not comfortable and the music is okay. This is not the place to get great music, but is okay to have a drink in a nice atmosphere.
Siyana Morris
Fried fish fried okra and shrimp seasoned really well crunchy hot very good tartar sauce a1! The breakfast seafood omelette and potatoes dish was a little small for the price but still really good.
Dorothy Dean
Had breakfast with two other couples. You seat yourself. Order in person at window. Food is brought to you when cooked. ALL of the food was fabulous!
Musicians play jazz while you eat, even at breakfast.
Next visit to New Orleans will include a return visit to this establishment.
Mike Lake
Awesome place for music, chill jazz vibes. The band was really good and entertaining. Seating is outside, but the weather was nice, and i saw plenty of cooling fans.
Kaleidoscope Dreams Tarot
Great music while I was there.
Michele Bartleson
Live jazz outdoors on a summer night 💜💜💜🥳 …
Akshay Nair
Cool spot for an afternoon drink. Music can get loud at times. Decent food menu, mostly cocktails and beignets. Think outdoor seating and a nice chilled drink.
Redding Shelby
Beignets are way fresher and fluffier than Cafe Du Monde, best place to hang out on Bourbon St if you need to sit and take it all in.
James Fields
Great spot to stop and relax with good food and music when you're tired of the street - although I can't really recommend the strawberry beer. But the seafood combo platter is great to share with friends.
Pablo Santos
Beatiful little "park" to go listen to jazz while you grab a bite and couple of drinks.
Ryan Lopatofsky
Great place to enjoy live music and great beignets. A must do while visiting the French Quarter in New Orleans. Check out the video I posted. And yes the beignets are as good as they look, I could sit there and eat myself right into a food coma. We went out to visit this place mid morning and stood in line for about 20 minutes. Worth the wait.
Fausto Correa
Needs to put more attention to customers service.
Robert Vazquez
Good Jazz band. Can't open a tab. Must pay when served each drink. They need a few more fans to cool off the area during the hot months.
Jürgen Hatheier
Very nice outdoor seating where you can enjoy music which is not too loud. I am sure they have other/better bands playing at other nights, yesterday was kind of so so
Sarah Matthews
Soco mango daquiri is where its at. Live music, very laid back environment.
Daily Gold
Great music. Great atmosphere.
Rich Veale
I live this spot. A place where toy can go abs sit with a coffee, beer or a cocktail and catch some great music. There are several statues in salute odd stone odd the best musical talent in the world. That being said, toy have cafe beignet there and you can get great beignets (better than Cafe DuMonde) in my humble opinion.
Alex Biles
Love love love it here! They have a local band playing every night. It is connected to a bakery, but you do not have to order from them. Some nights it is byo and some nights they tell you no outside drinks.
Guillaume Schlaepfer
Place is very nice: cute outside terrasse. We had two nice local bands playing and had a good moment of amateur live music. The food of the begnet café isn't great, old frying oil gave our dishes a bitter taste. That's why I retain 1 star
Sarah Pair
One of my go-to places in the French Quarter. Stop by for a cafe au lait from Cafe Beignet, or an order of beignets (of course), or an omelette with andouille sausage ... but you'll stay for the outdoor ambiance and wonderful live music. So much more relaxed than the ear-splitting noise of most bars in the area! I love coming here early in the morning when most of last night's partiers are sleeping it off, and I can get one of the first breakfasts off the grill -- and start listening to anything from rock to jazz while they are still hosing down Bourbon Street. Live music, a delicious breakfast, no crowd, a lovely New Orleans courtyard, and even little sparrows to beg for bits of bread. What could be nicer?
ASP of Edmond
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly! Outside atmosphere.. something you don't expect on bourbon street. Live music starts a 10ish. The reason I didn't give them 5 stars was the guy running the food smelled like 5 day old body odor!
Shara Klaus
A great place to sit and relax on Bourbon Street. Had a drink and a fresh beignet! They had live music and misters to keep it cool. They also have a super clean restroom!
LaShawn SANDERS
Wonderful outdoor cafe, live music good food!
Akshat Mane
Loved the beignets, but the music elevates the experience soooo much!
Quan Nguyen
The restaurant is a little pricey but it tastes good and has a good environment. Live jazz + outdoor seating. Long lines.
Mihla Oates
Strict vaccination to get in several cafes and eateries, but the beignets were amazing!
Lori McAnelly
Very family friendly.. AWESOME MUSIC.. Surpassed only by the beignots! Served hot with a ton of powdered sugar. Went back twice... Nice garden type outside seating.
Charley Boyd
This is a perfect place to powder yourself with beignets while listening to excellent local musicians. We have heard everything from 20s jazz to blues to Cajun and mote. The beignets are made here at this location of Cafe Beignet. You may also order breakfast or lunch items at reasonable prices. Expect tasty food. And yes, it's vegetarian friendly. You can find shady, covered places to sit, too. Be sure to tip the band.
Kevin M
A lovely park with a side of live jazz and great food!
Emilie
Quiet and peaceful. Although statues here are most likely none you'll recognize, take a picture and look them up! Walk up to the bar, no waitress while we were there, have a cocktail and learn!
Patrick Rushmore
Great place to chill out and take a break on Burban Street
Smevin Bravis
Nice lil chill spot with great live music and a laid back cafe - plus a bar for good measure, of course. The trees and the statues are so quaint the atmosphere is dope for a quick stop before getting back to ragin.
Owen Smith
Live jazz music was amazing. Probably the nicest place in the French Quarter, and certainly one of the few kid-friendly places. Almost everything else on Bourbon Street was a bar or club.
Greg McEntyre
Good food coming out of the Cafe Beignet for breakfast, lunch, or a snack of just beignets and coffee. There is a full bar in the courtyard as well. Jazz bands play live music all day, with fans and misters running to keep it cool on hot days. Great atmosphere for a taste of New Orleans.
melisa mcandrew
Music and atmosphere was such a delight!!
Sebastian Morales
Loved it! The whole bourbon street experience was disappointing until we came across here! Awesome musicians and cafe beignet is in here all one can eat while listening to great jazz!
Doug N
Nice little park. An oasis in the middle of the insanity of Bourbon Street. There is a beignet shop in the back that is better than Cafe du Monde! They frequently have live music. Just sit back and have a drink.
lester ward
Had a great time and was glad to see
KJ
The Patio with live music has a awesome vibe
Valentina Totonelli
Cute little square on Burbon St however less noisy and crowded. There are tables, live music, a bar and a really nice cafe beignet which has really tasty beignets.
John Monks
Best beignets in the French quarter 10x better than Cafe du monde
Charles Johnson
One of the best parts of our trip! Came here on a Saturday night and was greeted by an amazing live jazz band. We had coffee and beignets here from the café and they were actually better than café du monde!
Michael mrPorsha
Great music good beer.
Nanette Malcolm
We ate from Cafe Beignet in this park. Comfirtable seating. Interesting landscaping.
Wanna Travel
Cafe Beignet located here also. Nice jazz while you sip your cafe aulet and enjoy great beignets. ( personal opinion, better than tourist trap Cafe Du Monde)
Abigail Norton
The cafe here is awesome. Food is delicious and quick. The coffee is strong. The music is fabulous. A fun stop on Bourbon Street.
Andres Perez
Nice park to sit down and listen to jazz. Have a beignet at Cafe Beignet. They’re better than the ones at Cafe Du Monde, and the line is shorter.
Brendan Mccullough
Cool little park with a cafe attached. Live music almost any time of day and the food is very good. There is also a bar for your adult beverage needs.
Cathy Brienen
Nice place to stop and have a drink. Music was good.
Mark Dezuba
Great place to see New Orleans legend Steam Boat Willie for free. Set in the heart of the French Quarter you love the atmosphere. There are food and drink options for you as well. It is also set in an outdoor park. You'll love it.
Daniel Nguyen
A quieter place along Bourbon Street, and live jazz music from locals, make it a great spot to take a break from the boisterous activity on Bourbon st.
The only thing that brings it down is the attached cafe. The roast beef po-boy was just a salty lump of shredded beef on a baguette, with a sparse helping of leafy greens.
Kathleen Bailey
Didn't know that there were only 6 or 7 music legends. If you only listen to jazz in passing you wouldn't know any of the names. Nice little area to sit and listen to some music though. The band got a little loud for this small space.
Matt whitlock
Had some really great live music here!
Evangelia
Late night in the roads of the old city center and we found this spot out of thr blue. There was live music and a self service bar for cocktails. Sadly the beignet place had just closed because it was late so we can not offer an opinion.
Julie Rakoczy
Yummy beignets and good music. Great atmosphere.
Jess Stinson
Great place to have a cup of coffee and some bignets in the morning.
Lauren Brown
It's in the open air space at Cafe Beignet & THEIR BEIGNETS ARE BETTER THAN CAFE DU MONDE (yes I'm throwing shade but I brought some back for family b/c I like them so much). This was the highlight of my last AM in NOLA: cafe au lait from French Truck Coffee (a couple of streets away even though Cafe Beignet's is good 2) & beignets while listening to music outside.
Kate Conner
Enjoyed this area, stopped in to Cafe Beignet and enjoyed love music!
Queston Vanzant
Late night beignets and cafe au lait! These were better than cafe du Monde imo. My au lait was an iced one and I wish I tried it hot. But we were sitting outside and it is NO in the summer. The statues were cool to look at as well.
Sandee Drake
Awesome location! We were in NOLA during a very hot season... This park and the local jazz musicians were a great respite from Bourbon Street! This became our 'spot' to get away from the crazies... lol
Photos by Babs Cay
Cool stopping place to hear great jazz
Gina Gearhart
We had a blast here! The coffee, the beneits were the best. Great jazz band playing. The kids enjoyed dancing!
Andrew Berry
Where do I start... This place was the coziest most relaxing place we visited in the week that we stayed in New Orleans. EVERY band that set up and played (open stage) could have been a mega star professional band. Of all the places in the French Quarter that we visited, we always ended up back here. A must see and experience if ever visiting this area. Plus, the (have to say it was not too clean **SCARY** actually) bathroom had the best acoustics that I have ever experiaced! I'm an accomplished whistler and had to record some stuff in this (Mens) bathroom lol. Bring some tipping cash as the performers live off of tips and DESERVE THEM! LOVE AND MISS THIS LIL GEM!!!!
Joseph Lamotta
Live music, $12 mixed drinks, FREE RESTROOM, food available onsite. Great place to take a break from Bourbon St. Fans with mist are on the premises. That 9th ward mixup will knock your socks off!
Mike Rutledge
Loved the atmosphere and the live music. Drink service was mediocre.
Ross
NOT AN ACTUAL PARK.
Fun outdoor spot with their own live band "Steamboat Willie". Also has decent food and bar but I would go somewhere else to eat and then come here for drinks and music.
Joe Zeppetello
Fun place to get coffee and something light to eat outside. Great music
Pim Reinders
If Bourbon Street is a little too much for you, step aside into the Musical Legends Park. This is not really a park, but an open-air bar/ restaurant where you van enjoy Beignets, have a drink, or order a light dinner. There usually plays a nice jazz band, just far enough removed from the Bourbon street craze.
Joemar Buyao
Really cool area on Bourbon Street. Statues of Musical Legends. Have some Beignets while listening to some live jazz. Good break from all the bars and stuff on Bourbon Street
Bhargava Krishna (Bar-Gav Krishh-Na)
Pretty chilled out place with live music almost all through the day.
They have good food and drink options. Try their hurricane, it was worth it.
Otrice Ellis Gibson
Nice vibe. They were just wrapping up when we got there but we sat and enjoyed our beignets
Eileen Fackrell
Visited Memphis thought Gracelands Sun Studios. Rock and Soul all amazing. Well worth the visit. They have transfers between superb service. Suggest visiting Peabody Hotel for the duck march.
Amayak Urumyan
It's a nice place to enjoy some jazz and try done good beignet. I liked those better then those in cafe Duma. Environment is more pleasing as well.
kitty kat
The staff (bar and kitchen) were friendly the patrons were of a more mature veriety (around 30 and up) and the bartenders were not shy with their pouring is two shots for every single we ordered... And anyone who doesn't know where to stop to try the traditional beignets of French Creole origin while in the quarter should start their search here they, are, AMAZING!!!
Chris Cabrera
Nice breath of fresh air on bourbon St. Stopped by after some madness and enjoyed some mellow music. Like going to a different world for just a minute. Definitely worth a stop in!
Gareth Doyle
Great atmosphere & cafe.
Daniel Koh
What a great little place to get away from the craziness of Bourbon St. Steamboat Willie and band were unreal! Could have sat there all night listening. Grab a drink and some food.
Shawn Seidel
Always a great spot to grab a refreshment and listen to some excellent jazz. No cover; just tip the band.
Btrfly2023
Ate here twice in 4 days, beignets and croissant tuna salad. Worth every penny. Nice to rest your feet and listen to some Jazz.
Helen and Adrian
Nice place to sit for a drink and a bite to eat. Some shade here if you wish to sit in the shade. There seems to be always a band playing here. Interesting to look at the statues.
Kea Theroux, LMSW (OreoRocks)
We go everyone we're in town. There's live music, beautiful statutes and great food at great prices. Laid back fun place, not packed with tourists more of a locals well kept secret.
Brenner Schmitt
Nice place to hang out and listen to live music and get a coffee or food. The cafe inside was also good and the staff were friendly.
Nic Payne
Great place for a quick nibble, drink and people watching!
Che tana
Live music, outdoor, anyone can come in and grab a table and you don't need to order from Cafe Beignet, which I highly recommend you don't order there. Night and day difference in service b/w here and the legit Cafe B on Royal St. The coffee is an apology and my eggs have shells. Disgusting.
Sdc Clt
Delicious beignets and wonderful ambience with information on less- known jazz legends and wonderful live jazz. Hot chocolate was delicious as well.
TraX Fr
A very explicative and complete Museum about the life of Elvis Presley. A good point to add the Ipad for a self progress through the museum as our speed. It is just not explain enough how was the end of his life and how dark it was. But very good though.
Rachel Willis
We stopped by while wandering around the French quarter. It was a nice place to take a break and have a drink, and we got to listen to some live jazz music as well!
Randy G
Nice little spot on Bourbon Street to slip into and get away from the crowd. They always have great music here as well as drinks
Connor Walker
This was our first refuge after venturing into bourbon Street. There was ample seating the drinks were fair and I loved the fish platter
Rick Noll
Right in the heart of the quarter, right on Bourbon this iconic music park takes you back to the way the quarter was and still is. Great musicians, great music, great times just sit back and relax. This is the true quarter.
Sandy Flenner
Park good. Food and jazz not so good.
Keenan Gibbs
Legends Park is pretty chill. I love the live music there. The drinks aren't as good as I would like but, you can't win them all.
Laura Nugent
Statues are amazing didn't go into the park but from just looking in the area it sounded very fun & entertaining. You could hear the music as you walked past.
June Cakie Kitsune
Very good jazz music and affordable delicious food
Natália Antonio
Great environment and good jazz! Totally worth the experience
Denise Ward
Nice setting to listen to live music, maybe a drink or coffee, but Cafe Beignet food experience disappointing.
G R
The best place in Bourbon Street, beignets, coffee, sandwiches, beer and the gentleman's playing jazz were espectacular. My family and I had a great time.
Danielena Viera
Greatest Beignets in NO!!! And is better if you enjoy them sitting among music legends from this amazing place and hearing some outstanding musicians.... Best experience...
Roger Pleis
we. had breakfast sandwiches. you order and tbey bring it out to you. live music. Very nice.
Mandelanel Mandela
The music amazing live band. It's also a very romantic place. The food was awful though. Order the deserts and beverage or drinks instead.
rafael g
Good live music
Charlie S
Actually doing covid tracing, unlike other places in the quarter. Decent area, clean and fun atmosphere. Live jazz
Gary May
This is a great location, we enjoyed a late breakfast and lunch while enjoying live jazz and blues music band. The Beignets are awesome!!
Renee Kim
Great ambience. Live music, draft beer was good.
Roderick VanGordon
Wanted to have a party melt. It was not on the menu but the waiter said he would have the cook make one. It was very good. That is customer service above and beyond!!
Nathan Atthawimol
Awesome little park hidden between the busy, infamous Burbon street. Nice place to sit and enjoy some jazz music over some coffee and beignets at Cafe Beignet, located inside the park.
Sean McDonald
Really nice atmosphere but the musicians will harass you for tips like a lot of other live bands.
Evette
Pretty cool place to grab a Beignet and listen to music outside
Gigi
This place is great when you want to unwind and get away from all the fun chaos. The band is amazing and the singer sounds like Frank Sinatra!
Vicky Tusken
Steamboat Willie and musicians take you back in time to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, as well as Louis Armstrong. The music is great, but except for the benets, the food and drinks are sub par. OK, since it is the music you came for.
Mihir Meghani
A very nice place to listen to music for free. There is also a cafe so you can order drinks & food. It is outdoors. Seating & standing can get tight.
Kellyann Herrington
Located in the Cafe Beignet on Bourbon Street. Great live jazz all day, breakfast, sweets, coffee/tea and a full bar!
Samantha Ortiz
Great music, drinks and the BEST beignets I’ve had in New Orleans. Definitely a great vibe. I will be back.
ONLEA Blog
good and nice place!!!! @onleablog for more pics
Miro F
Their cocktails are terrible. Essentially a sugar bomb and waste of $12. The live music, however, was pretty good.
Paul Lessing
Free Jazz in the evening courtesy of Steamboat Willie, who played some fun melodies. You can get Beignets here at Cafe Beignet but they're a bit doughy.
Alex Bentley
Awesome place to hangout and listen to some local artists
Melanie Williams
Great music, atmosphere, drinks and food 😀 …
JoAnne Fischer
Great local musicians, very clean, cozy place.
Michael “Mike” Gaudet
Awesome food and live music at Cafe Beignet. I had a muffaletta and my wife the jambalaya followed by wonderful beignets while the band played.
Jackye G
It was a great experience. It reflect the spirit of New Orleans
Stephen Thibault
Perfection of the New Orleans French Quarter experience! Live music surrounded by the likenesses of great mucisians with a ben-yay and coffee then a great mixed drink. I fully suggest a stop here!
Vanessa Pinto
Absolutely loved this place! Great live music, great food and an overall refreshing and vibrant vibe to it. I'd love to go back!
Dana Thompson
Great customer service the waitress was very very nice and attentive.
Gordon
Nice terrace with a café.
maria elisa cruz
Good beignet. Nice jazz music.
Shrinath Desai
One of the best place to just chill!
Eleanor Thompson
Very relaxing and enjoyable. Loved the band and the food. Great place to take the entire family, or for a cozy couples outing.
Ken Hasty
Nice park that is an easy walk from Bourbon Street. Features a large pond with Bridges and a fountain as well as statues of famous musicians.
Mary Iglesias
Great vibes and music
Tom Adams
Very very busy. Food was extremely dry (ok at best). Bar tender was great though
Alejandro Sosadias
A must go for drinks or food, great live bands@NOLA
Ksenia Cheh
Great music and atmosphere! You can get your food and drinks and enjoy life music.

Very cool place. Didn't try the food but the beer was cold and the music was great.
