I have had visited here two time, tje nurses here so friendly, honor and patient with the members at nursinghome. Organizing ativities to have some fun at that house, some religious activities, such as the visiting of Our Lady of Fatima last month. It's so thoughtful and meaningful for the members in that nursinghome. Thanks for all staff there, keep running the nursinghome and you are in my prayer.

My mother was placed here for sub-acute rehab back in the late summer of 2013. A social worker from Montefiore highly recommended it and she was right. I was very happy with everything from the time my mother entered to the time she was discharged. The facility is very clean and the staff is great & professional. I visited my mother often and found the facility to be consistent. Staff is available to answer questions, I spoke with the social workers, nursing staff, & admissions on a regular basis. My mother and appreciated the Catholic services; she felt comforted which is important. I can say how happy I am all I want but frankly, her happiness and comfort are what's important. And she wants to go back!! She enjoyed the activities such as the Strolling Minstrel and games. She was so happy with her hairstylist and going outside within the facility. She doesn't like to move around but at Physical Therapy she was moving! The PTs were professional and compassionate, she fondly remembers one in particular. The nurses, doctors and CNAs were available to answer questions and talk about my mother's care and progress. They made it clear her progress (as well as other patients) was a priority. My only issue is with the director of admissions at that time. There was a situation where I was concerned for my mother's safety and placement after discharge. My father, the social worker and I were having a conference call including her and my mother's primary social worker (they were over the phone). It was a while ago so I don't remember every detail but I do remember that at one point the director started screaming. I don't know if she was having a bad day but that was a no-go for me. Maybe she now realizes that's not what you do as a professional. All in all I still do recommend this nursing home because everything else outweighs that one incident, by far. My mother was happy there, that's what counts.

The saying "There is no place like home " is so true but when you have a love one who needs 24 hr. care "There is no place like St. Patrick's Nursing Home where my mom has been for 2 yrs. She has been here for 2 years and she is well taken care of by all the friendly and professional staff. She has been so happy here and shares many happy hours. I thank each and everyone at the home for the attention given to my mom and all the Residents.

Visited our dearest Aunt Kathleen Walsh early in the month (November 2015), what a wonderful homely loving and caring home for a beautiful loving caring Aunt to enjoy her Autumn years. The staff are so friendly and helpful, they are full of bundles of welcome and obvious fulfillment in their daily duties, tending to all the residents at St. Patrick's. keep up the good work St. Patrick's, you are all angels on loan from heaven walking on earth.

Nice facility, beautiful chapel and a great BAR (yes BAR!) with $1-2 beers & wine!. Staff is pleasant. Have to remind them though about what the resident needs are when he checked in. NYS Department of Health ratings are much lower than they should be.
