My parents have been here for 2 years and I could not be more grateful and happy that I chose Laconia. I had to place my parents here as an emergency during the pandemic and was very anxious and stressed about the process. My first contact was Josephine who was absolutely amazing and lovely, she helped ease all of my fears and made me feel hopeful that everything would be ok. They helped me so much through the entire process and I felt blessed to have chosen Laconia. All of the staff that I have worked with have been awesome, Ann Braunstein is wonderful and has been very helpful and guided me through all the questions I have had. Barbara and Monique are amazing as well and do a wonderful job of planning activities and helping all of the residents. I have a great relationship with the nursing staff, especially Ama and Marston who are lovely. Mr. Berger is also great and professional, did a great job of helping families be able to visit during this difficult Covid time. Mr. Muniz is awesome and kind, Vema is absolutely wonderful and always takes time to listen to any health concerns I have. Laconia has been a godsend for my family and I love visiting, talking to the staff and helping out with activities when I can. My parents are safe and happy and I thank the Laconia staff for being wonderful and kind.

My brother has been living there for many years. Administration nursing staff are very attentive to family as well to my brother. He looks happy. I am satisfied with there care. Plus nursing home in general, clean I Must compliment the operator, good attitude very helpful. Thank you Montalvo

I highly recommend this nursing home for your loved ones. I was very satisfied with how my grandmother was treated by everyone at Laconia. I was frighted of the thought of my grandmother attending a nursing home during Covid. They updated me weekly with any changes that occurred because of covid. I can say your loved ones will be safe and treated with exceptional care. I highly recommend them.

Our first impression of the facility was definitely positive. The rooms, floors and hallways were always clean. My aunt was at Laconia for rehab and I'm glad she was! The courteous, caring and compassionate staff goes a long way. Rehab team is phenomenal. A lot of great activities for people to participate in as well. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing rehab.

i used to volunteer here a few years back and the staff was all very nice and most of the residents were always very happy. they do lots of activities to keep them engaged wich is really good. the lady who worked there doing activities Ms.winifred is literally an angel

My mom was there for short term. Best rehab and nursing care in the Bronx. Love the renovated rooms. Highly recommend them.

The staff is very nice and friendly. I like the place, is very clean. I feel that the residents are well taken care of. I think all staff go out of their way to make residents happy and safe during the not stable Covid-19 time.

Great facility! My grandmother was there for short term rehab and she had a great experience. The staff of nursing and rehab were very nice and helpful.
