Came to visit and provide support to Community Sales team....
What a beautiful community. This is a team that is exceptional.
The Chef works tirelessly to ensure that the residents are happy, the activities are exciting and the residents are truly blessed to have the transportation department, housekeeping, emergency response, but most of all they have each other.... and their families are at peace knowing their loved ones are getting the very best!

There is a New Sheriff in town at the Atria Woodlands, his name is Rob Tennant, and he is the New Executive Director. My Mother has been a resident for a number of years at the Atria. Over those years, we have seen changes, good and bad. Rob has only been there for about 2 months and positive changes have already taken place. Rob has the knowledge, insight and desire to make The Atria the Best it can be. He has a Wonderful staff that is willing to succeed in his mission. Rob is hands on with everything that is going on, day to day. He brings excitement for what he can do now and in the future. I appreciate his desire for the community and I am looking forward in seeing, all the good that he will do in continuing to make the Atria a Great place to live.

Our 94 year old mother started in Independent Living at the Atria Woodlands three years ago and just moved into the Assisted Living building. We couldn’t be more pleased with Atria Woodlands and neither could our mom. Fabulous staff, lovely residents, bright and cheerful apartment. We sleep well knowing she is safe and that she is getting great care and attention. No one could have prepared us for this stage of her life, but the Atria Woodlands is helping us deal and cope with it and ensure that she is comfortable and superbly taken care of.

I can't say enough good things about Atria Woodlands. We had to somewhat abruptly move my reluctant parents to an independent living community after a variety of issues made it difficult for them to manage on their own in their house. Rob Tennant and his team helped us to quickly navigate the move and helped to transition their two bedroom apartment into a comfortable, welcoming home for them. More importantly, once they arrived my parents were delightfully surprised at the accommodations and services. The food is amazing and Chef B, her assistant chef and all of the servers have made my parents feel right at home in the beautiful dining room and they accommodate them in every way possible. The events and services are also top notch with programs that are well thought out and instructors/speakers who are truly engaging. Rob, the Executive Director, who we learned had only recently joined, has made a significant impact and has created an environment where my parents are happy, safe and well cared for with a staff who is hands on, welcoming and accommodating. We couldn't be happier and look forward to seeing how Atria Woodlands continues to transform for the better under Rob's guidance and expertise.

From initial contact through the entire move in process the staff and accommodations here are fantastic. Mom has settled in quickly and she absolutely loves it! What more can one possibly say? Visit the grounds and don't hesitate to ask the residents as well! We are thrilled to see Mom blossom as we always knew her. Thank you Rob and the entire team.

Our mother was Atria for 5 years and sadly passed away very recently. The care and support throughout her time there was excellent. Our family would like to to thank the entire staff — particularly Matthew, Maria, Debra, Beylka, Mike and George, along with so many others - for being wonderful partners in our mother’s journey.
Atria is beautiful and caring community that is committed to proving an outstanding experience to its residents. With new management in place, this already great community is becoming even better, thanks to innovative new programs and visible improvements everywhere.

My parents moved to Atria Woodlands together in June 2019. In the 3 years they lived there together until my father passed away 4 months ago the facility went through 3 changes of directors, and it was not difficult to figure out why. Just prior to my father's passing Rob Tennant took over as director. Rob is a big part of why my family and my mother ultimately decided to stay at Atria. Simply, HE GETS IT. Emails are returned promptly. Concerns are addressed thoughtfully. There are more gatherings for family members and communication lines are open. Rob helped to make a very sad and stressful transition for my mother as smooth and easy as possible. Give that man a raise!!

To Whom It May Concern,
I wanted to take this moment to express my deepest appreciation to Jan Unger and the staff of Atria Woodlands. Our family has been looking for a place for my in-laws Iris Silva and Sergio Vasquez for about a month.
This journey has led us to some very depressing scenarios which included separating them. It had become a very daunting task as their issues and needs were quite diverse. My mother-in-law, Iris, wanted to retain her independent status and enjoy her life cooking and entertaining. My father-in-law, Sergio, on the other hand was experiencing the onset of dementia and was unable to care for himself.
This was a situation that I was sure could not be unique to our family, however, in the places we were looking prior to our visit there seemed to be no easy answer.
We were very pleasantly surprised when Jan greeted us with a warmth and understanding that we had not seen in other facilities. He listened, he was attentive and generous with his time while we asked all our questions. I felt that he understood, and we felt comfortable.
We were able to see three rooms and when we saw the last one, we knew we had found the best one for them. Room 1333 with its beautiful view and a patio included a gate leading to the gazebo was just what we needed for Sergio. A place for him to sit and watch the birds under the careful eye of his devoted wife.
This was an answer to our prayers and Jan was again helpful in explaining what needed to be done next. At no time did I feel pressured or confused or worried about our decision. Instead, we put a deposit down immediately and I felt tears of joy knowing we had finally found a new home. A home that we want to visit them at. A home that we are looking to spend Thanksgiving at. A home.
Thank you
Rob Tennant
I am excited to be taking on this new assignment at Atria Woodlands. I am coming from a 5 star community, Atria Stamford CT. I am 100% committed to the staff, residents and families of the Community, to have us be The Best of the Best.
We have a great company backing us, with a caring and tenured staff. You are welcome to see our Community coming to life, through our Facebook postings. Ensure to 'like us" on Facebook. Our staff and residents will express how well we do, in their bi-annual surveys.
In summary, I personally want to thank you for trusting me and my Team to truly make a difference in the lives of people in the Community. When we meet, you will see and feel my strong commitment to excellence.
Our campus offers so much, the only non-buy-in continuum care. A true Independent Living option, Assisted Living and Life Guidance/Memory support. Our mission is to keep your vibrant and healthy.

Rob Tennant

Atria Woodlands is a blessing for both my mother and my entire family. I am the daughter of a current resident and have been very happy for almost two years now. The staff is professional, compassionate and patient, which is not always easy when working with seniors. Most importantly, my sister and I have peace of mind that our mother is being well taken care of.

A dear family friend has been a resident at Atria Woodlands for almost 2 years. She couldn't be happier. She receives wonderful attention, very much enjoys the food and enjoys the activities (when it's not during Covid). I can share with you that the administrative staff has been wonderful to me. They are extremely caring , compassionate and are very dedicated to their residents and the residents families. We have been kept very well informed of all information during the Covid virus outbreak. I couldn't say enough about Atria Woodlands and the wonderful people who care for our friend.

I am happy to say that my experience with everyone at Atria has been excellent, especially in this extremely difficult time of COVID-19. The buildings have everything needed for a senior active lifestyle and are well maintained for cleanliness. The staff has been very friendly and surprisingly very warm and loving for my Mom; and having the experience of eating there myself, I have found the food and the choice of food to be excellent.
Thank you all at Atria!

Atria Woodlands is an amazing community to work at. The staff, residents and families are all so friendly. It truly feels like my home away from home.
Look forward to each new day when I walk into the building!

My mother is in the memory care unit at Atria. I have read through some of the reviews, which I find to be accurate. The initial attention is incredible. It’s as if there is this team of people who are going to provide personalized care for your loved one. Especially in the beginning, I would regularly get updates as to how she was doing, activities, how she ate, etc. However, that does die down over time and, even though I actively visit and take her out, any input I received is now at my prompting.
There are number of activities listed on the calendar to attend throughout the day at Atria, however my mother does not have access to many of them due to being on the life guidance floor.
She enjoys the food and the staff is always kind and attentive when I am there.
For the cost of living at Atria, there are a couple of things that are not included which I find odd that I do not think would cost much and only add to the quality of life.
I have to state clearly that the main, if not only, reason my mother is still at Atria is because of the director of her floor, LUCY. Lucy has continued to check in with me about my mother, when visitors come, and her general mood/functioning. Lucy is a priceless addition to life guidance. Knowing some one cares so much that she will contact me without prompting or prodding is incredible and allows me to sleep at night knowing my mother is safe and cared for. She will also talk to my mother and bring her with her throughout the building so she can get out a bit and socialize more.
Lucy’s 2 days off may be rest for her but it’s the only time of the week I feel as though I have lost a great resource and a connection to my mom when I’m not there.

In September it will be a year my father has been in the memory section of the Atria. It's been a learning experience for me. But I must say the staff has been wonderful and caring. Lucy and her staff Leda, Marcia, Namedia, Mary, Earl the pearl, and all of them that have touched his life....I love them. There jobs are exhausting yet they do it with a smile. I know my dad is safe, bathed, well fed and surrounded by friendly faces. Thank you!
To the powers that be, I would love to see the entertainment provided at assisted and independent living brought up to memory more often.

I love Atria Woodlands!! As a geriatric care manager, I have experience with many different communities in the area. I can say without hesitation that Atria Woodlands is well run, enjoyable, and safe. I would place my parents there without hesitation.

Over the last year I have had to move my parents between three different facilites in Westchester. The first place was very disorganized and I found myself becoming a defacto manager of nursing, food and services for my parents it made me so angry. The second place seemed good until I discovered that dozens and dozens of residents had asymptomatic covid -- including both of my parents! I finally made the perfect decision taking them to Atria Woodlands. From Day One, the place was on top of everything, and the kindness and 1:1 has been unbelievable. Lauren and her team run a tight ship with incredible compassion. Run, don't walk, to put your parents in this place.

Atria Woodlands is a warm and social community. I have enjoyed living here for three years, have made good friends and feel that all the employees care about my well- being. I truly appreciate the staff as well as the residents.
Maddie Silverstein, our Engage Life director, is an enthusiastic leader, creates many new activities, tries to please everyone and is super competent at every level.

The Atria - Woodlands has been a great home for my Mom.
She has been a resident of the independent living area and is now a resident of the assisted living facility.
The staff has always been exceptionally caring and professional. They make The Atria feel like it's really her home.
We'd like to especially thank Sandra McNeish, Claudette Witter, April Williams for being there!

Following a hospital stay and rehab, I brought my 84 year old father here to live so he’d be close by to us. I have only wonderful things to say about the facility (from what I was able to see due to COVID) — it’s clean and inviting - and staff, who are so caring, accommodating and go above and beyond for the residents. Special shout out to Rosanne and Brooke!!

My Father IN Law spent 5 years at Atria Woodlands and he had wonderful experience. Warm and kind staff. He made friends with the entire community.

I live at The Atria Woodlands Assisted Living Facility in Ardsley NY and have been here several years. I can’t say enough good things about it. I did an extensive search, with my family, of the places like this in the Westchester area, and am happy with the decision.
I am younger than most people here, in my mid – 60s, with needs of my own. Older people are well taken care of, but as for me, I really like to MOVE. I’m delighted to enjoy exercise like Boxing, WII Bowling, and some balance bars that feel like I’m dancing.
I thank God every day for a place like this and hope that other people will be happy in their own search for a new home.

Clean and approachable. This location is expensive but it is located in a very nice safe place. My mom is a resident. Highly recommended if you have the misfortune of needing a facility.

Just want to give a huge Thankyou to Debbie ,AKA my Angel, and her team in Life Guidance . I was getting so anxious not being to hug, hold and smooch my dad since March 2020. (unless he was hospitalized) A real torture for my My Mom and I .But, Debbie, she fills my shoes with Papa, while I can't and we text pretty much daily. He is at arms reach of us, but still so far. But it's not about me....I know he is being kept safe, he's clean, he's fed and very protected. For this I am so grateful.
From the bottom of my heart, Grazie con Amore!

I toured this community with an eye towards bringing my mom up from Florida. I was impressed with the attentiveness and friendliness of the executives and staff, the homey atmosphere, and the accommodations. Hope it will work out for me. What a great option.

I wanted a tour for my Dad who has Dementia. However, I was an employee some time ago. Patricia Sneft is very snobby and judgemental. Her loss
