If anyone is looking for a true advocate in the challenging search for assisted living for a loved one, look no further. Leana with Assisted Living Locators took the time to not only hear my concerns, but she actually listened and found a number of possible communities matching the parameters for my search. She then coordinated visits and walk throughs with the communities being sure to be there with me along the way. Her thoughtful consideration for my mother’s well being, as well as the compassion and understanding she showed made this previously overwhelming task so much easier to manage. This process, to take control and help out Senior family members, is very complicated and stressful to say the least. Looking for a place you feel your loved one will be safe, comfortable and happy is not easy. It takes someone who understands the system and has a heart of gold — and that person is Leana Walsh. I was fortunate enough to have met her and relied on her experience to help guide me through the process. As it turns out, My mom’s situation became a rush situation and Leana jumped in and showed me a number of places that were perfect in every aspect. From affordability to features offered to location and most important to availability. I has choices to pick from and feel confident that I chose the best one for my mom. I am so happy to report my mom is extremely happy and has melded into the comfort the Assisted Living Community offers. She looks and feels 100x better - the clientele, the food, the entertainment and most importantly, the people who work there are so caring and patient with each and every senior that it just warms my heart. Honestly, I sleep better now knowing I have trained and caring people watching over my mom. Nothing goes unnoticed or ignored. Leana knows her job and cares so much about our seniors that I’m sure she thinks “would I be happy with ‘my’ mom here “ — if the answer is no she doesn’t put that on the list to show you. Also, her contacts from Elder Lawyers to Medicaid help to Realtors are all top notch - they understand the pressure and stress we are under and they are prepared to help. The best description is : Leana Walsh - your an angel from heaven!! I can’t thank you enough!!

Leana Walsh is an angel. When my mom got sick, I had no idea where to start to find care after rehab. Leana guided me and saved me so much time and legwork. Two weeks ago, mom (94 yrs old) moved into an assisted living community in Rockland County, NY. None of this would have been possible without the assistance of Leana Walsh of Assisted Living Locators. Our initial phone conversation with Leana, immediately gave my siblings and I a sense that we had found the right person to help us. Not only did Leana guide us through the process of determining the needs of mom and evaluating communities, Leana also provided insight and assistance as we explained the family was looking at three different regions for mom; NY metro area, Virginia Beach and Nashville, TN. Each of the communities we visited in the NY area, Leana accompanied us, and always made sure all the right questions were asked. Leana gave us straight forward, honest evaluations which proved extremely helpful in making our final decision. Leana's assisted went beyond just finding a community for mom. Leana provided contacts for a host of auxiliary services and even talked me into attending a Senior Expo that was a wealth of information. Leana was professional, caring, thoughtful and a wealth of knowledge. My family and I highly recommend Leana Walsh.

Our family worked with Leanna and had a great experience. My mom is 96 and lives in a different state from my sister and I. My mom fell and broke her hip. We were having issues with the rehab center she was placed in out of the hospital. She was not getting the best care and communication with the facility was non existent. Being we were out of state and COVID we didn’t know what to do. Leah helped us get into contact with nursing homes in the area that had good Medicare ratings that would help us with mom’s care. Leanna was quick to respond to our communication and to get answers for us. I would highly recommend her and her services.

Leana from Assisted Living Locaters helped me so much. She made a very difficult time easier to deal with. Also her knowledge of the different facilities and what they do and do not offer was invaluable. Not to mention that she responded to my every text/call with lightning speed and gave me such personal, caring attention. I recommend her highly and with no hesitation. Also - a side point which I did not realize.... this company DOES NOT give out your number! This is a side point but an IMPORTANT one bc some companies do give out your number and then you have facilities calling you day and night trying to get your business. This becomes very stressful and it becomes an issue of business and not getting your loved one the proper help and living facility they need as was specifically the case with Leana. Thank you again and again.
