Reviews of Tampa Gardens Senior Living
I am so proud to be the Executive Director of Tampa Gardens Senior Living. The love and compassion shown to residents at this community is second to none. I would not hesitate to have the team here at Tampa Gardens Senior Living care for my loved one.
The renovations are absolutely stunning. Gorgeous community. The smiles on the seniors faces as you walk through shows the care and attention that recieve.
Great community partner in Tampa Gardens Senior Living in Tampa, FL - Melissa & the Team always have great events scheduled for their families, residents and community! Highly recommend!
Tampa Gardens is a bit of a “new kid on the block”, but in a very good way! Positivity has replaced doubt, kindness has replaced hurried procedures, and stability has replaced the unknown. The staff are loving and kind; many have been with the residents for over a decade. True dedication can be felt from all directions; from housekeeping, maintenance, care and culinary staff alike Every manager is there to serve the residents. Tampa Gardens is not just a community, it’s a family!
Thank you to Giovanni Martinez and the staff at Brighton Gardens. They have been amazing so far. We were in a situation to make a quick decision and thank goodness we found this facility. We had heard great comments and recommendations about Brighton Gardens. Giovanni insured all our questions were answered, he went above and beyond to insure the paperwork and logistics were handled before the move. I am so pleased with the compassion and understanding my siblings and I received when we moved my dad and his wife in to the facility. The move went as smoothly as possible. I was concerned how my Dad and his wife would react. I was surprised and pleased with their initial reaction. They have been there only a few days, but rave about how nice and responsive the staff has been. I cannot tell you the relief to know that they will be well taken care of and are happy. This year has been a bit of a nightmare for my family, as everyone else I'm sure, so to have a great experience come out of such an difficult situation has been a blessing. Thank you again Giovanni Martinez and staff, you are truly appreciated. I highly recommended this facility.
My mom recently moved into the memory care unit at brighton gardens Tampa . The transition went seamlessly with the help of the staff there. Giovanni did an excellent job getting our room ready and helping us fill out the paperwork. My mom feels safe and secure and Daryl is making sure she is getting excellent care ! Thank you so much for taking such good care of our mother !
During this terrible time of Coved, my family and I realize more than ever how lucky we are that my 93-year-old mother is in Brighton Gardens Tampa.
The staff is not only highly qualified, but also exceptionally caring and
loving at all times. They have all pulled together to make sure that everything has stayed at the highest standards ever since March. We would most definitely recommend this assisted living facility to anyone and are forever grateful to them for their dedication to making sure our mom feels so safe, secure and loved!
Our family needs came on us suddenly. Brighton Gardens of Tampa was recommended with other facilities by a place for mom. We would not have left our family care to just anyone, we considered several options.
Giovanni really made us feel like he would protect and care for my parents. Gio gave us a tour virtually and added great info on what would be important to us once we understood the care our parents would receive. Gio made the transition comfortable and positive. I highly recommend you consider and choose this facility.

We moved my mother into this wonderful new home last week. Giovannie, director of sales, was fantastic and helped my family with this transition and move in. Daryl has been great as well giving us regular updates on how well Mom is doing and the new friends she has made. These guys really made the extra effort to help our family in this difficult time.
Newly renovated and absolutely beautiful building! Great attending staff, that create a very positive atmosphere
Angels work here. From the front desk, to the admin staff, to the loving and caring staff who so lovingly take care of the residents. In these unprecedented times, the compassion and love the staff shows to their residents is a gift from god! My mom was a resident before Covid and during. God called her because of a disease inflicted five years ago. The love the staff at Brighton Gardens showed my mom is so appreciated by this family. Thank you!
My father has been living at Brighton Gardens for over two years. We are very happy with the care he receives there. Everyone is so nice and they work very hard to keep my father healthy, safe and happy. I am so glad we found Brighton when we needed help. I know my father is in wonderful hands.
My father was recently at Brighton Gardens for an extended period of time and our experience was absolutely stellar. The entire staff was so kind and genuine, they made my dad smile and when I couldn’t be there I knew he was in good hands. From our time at Brighton Gardens one person in particular sticks out as especially kind and gracious, Giovannie. From our first tour to seeing my dad through a move to independent living, Giovannie could not have been more kind and he really helped my family in a time of need.
Thank to the entire Brighton Gardens team for our great experience and a special thank you to Rachel who took time out while she was traveling to set my dad up. It’s very tough to make people smile in these circumstances, you guys not only succeeded but helped my dad get better. From me and my family, thank you!
GREAT FACILITY!...I'm not sure about what everyone else is talking about here. It is a very traumatic experience when you have to bring a loved one to an assisted living facility. In my case I we could no longer provide the care need fro my mother and she was was deteriorating under our care so we spent weeks researching and visiting different facilities and after a long and exhaustive search we decided upon Brighton Gardens. So far we have been very pleased with the level of service and care she has received here. The nurses are super caring and responsive to her needs. They have plenty of activities and the food is excellent. They were able to accommodate to her special dietary needs and avoid the fuss that she usually puts up by creating her favorite dishes with her doctor specified dietary arrangements. Her conditions has improved greatly and now she is regaining some of her mobility. GREAT PLACE!!
Maybe the bad reviews are about their Rehab Facility and NOT the Assisted Living Facility?? Their Assisted Living Facility is the BEST! Besides the fact that many of their staff have worked there for over 10 years (slow staff turnover says a lot), the nurses and assistants are the best! My Mom was in 2 different ALFs last year and is now at Brighton Gardens "Reminiscence Care". It was important to my Mom that she feel like she has a purpose and so they allow her to help set the tables. They have allowed her to teach everyone how to yodel and got to lead the group in playing kazoos (I bought from Party store). She loves the staff, loves the food, and loves the live music every Sunday at 3pm. No place is perfect but these people are eager to help your loved one adjust.
Well, I cant say much more than good things about that place. I don't know how it used to be since this was my dads first stay there 2 months ago. They have new management. So anyways, my dad had a bad wound and they were the only place that would take him at the time when he left the hospital. His diabetes was out of control too. He left in 4 weeks and wound had healed and was able to come back home and never had a problem there at all. He got his medication on time and food wasn't too bad. I ate there a few times myself. Now its not home cooking but his diet changed twice from regular to modified and they accommodated with no problems. From what I saw, they took more of the comprehensive patients then rehab up North Dale Mabry who I'm told just does mainly ortho stuff. I chose this skilled center because the staff are very hands on and willing to help with anything. call light response is usually less than 10 minutes. Could be shorter I think but when they are full, they are busy. Long story short, I was happy. I've heard horror stories about other places. At least that place didn't smell, was clean, and with only 40 something beds its more one on one and my dad never got lost in the mix of everything going on like some of the larger ones was kind of my mentality going in to it. they are short term not long term so they want to return to community with good outcomes. I'd bring him back if I had to again is all I can say. We felt like a family there.
Brighton Gardens of Tampa is a great facility. The staff is very patient and caring. Residents are given very personalized care and respect. The food is very appetizing and enjoyed by many residents. The activities are varied and interesting.
Never easy to make critical decisions on behalf of a loved one but Giovannie and his team at Brighton Gardens made it easier. Great attitude and the right mind set to help the people who need it !!
Giovannie was very helpful in my parents' transition to Brighton Gardens from Tallahassee. He answered our many questions and was very supportive during the whole process…and during Covid no less!
My mother-in-law lives here. We love the staff-they are so personal and caring. It's also an attractive facility. We have joined her for meals here and the food is very good. But the staff is what really makes this place stand out.
Great community! Wonderful staff! Great food and a beautiful building to boot!
