The Ballard Landmark is truly a gem of a place. I sincerely think it is the best residence community out there. The care-giving team is the best of the best and they are like friends to my mom. The food is good, the units are nice (my mom has a patio unit where she tends to her plants and loves it!), there's an amazing wellness facility (including salt water pool). The location is easy to navigate and the Ballard area has lots to do (including regular Sunday Farmers Market). The entire staff is friendly and they genuinely seem to like working there and genuinely like the residents. It feels really good to trust in this community and know that my mom is in a good place. Other places out there are less sincere and we know the difference.

We’re so grateful for the beautiful, safe, secure, active, fun, loving environment that our loved ones have enjoyed. The offered amenities are abundant, varied, appropriate, fun, and engaging. We really love and appreciate the staff, who are an amazing “face of the organization”. We recommend Ballard Landmark to our friends for their precious family members. Bravo!

The Ballard Landmark is the best thing that has happened to my Mom. She is so happy with the staff. They are very helpful and courteous! They decorate continually and always have interesting functions and day trips.
There are also theme nights in the dining room. The residents are also very nice. I enjoy visiting because the staff gets to know you. We couldn't be happier. The walking area around the building is great too. Old Ballard is very interesting and my Mom walks to her Dr and the grocery. They also have shuttle rides to where she needs to go. A++++++++++++!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to give Ballard Landmark all 5 stars for their very much appreciated
care for my parents who have been there approximately 3 years.
The care needed by both parents has increased over the years, and at this point I have one parent with dementia and another who is near end of life and on hospice. Our family has benefited immensely from the expert help from the management, Betty and nurses: Dieder and Charlie who have helped us problem solve how to meet our parent's caretaking needs. Also invaluable is the help and patience from the front desk staff including Devon and Amy and Katherine and other staff such as Ann and Victor. They each help out everyday with our parent's as well as the other residents with failing memories. Thank you, we appreciate you !

My mother-in-law has lived in the Ballard Landmark for a year. While no place is 100% perfect, the BL staff truly care for the seniors they serve. We feel lucky to have this housing option for her!

Great service, meals vary from ok to excellent. Wonderful rides to medical appointments, tours, and shopping runs. A great array of exercise opportunities. Including use of the pool. Very friendly staff.

I love the residents! I love seeing them up and active. The first place I've ever worked that over 90% of them don't need you to help them do anything!

Great place for the elderly.
