Carrington Place is great. Since it has come under new management things have improved drastically! Staffing has improved, better employees equals a better environment for sure. Progress can definitely be seen within the facility and the outside as well. Only see more positive things in the future of Carrington Place !

My husband was transferred from the hospital to Carrington Place of New Orleans at the beginning of March, 2014. I was an emotional mess when he was admitted. I was expecting a mean and rude staff, however, they showed me it does not exist there. My husband, I think surpassed what was expected of him in a very short time period. I cannot say enough in regards to the staff...they are exceptional and are always smiling. Their attitude was let me help you get thru this and have fun at the same time. It was great. I would recommend Carrington Place to my friends and family should they ever need a nursing home or physical therapy. I rated this a 5 because of the staff :). You could not ask for better service as they were above and beyond.

My close friend is in Carrington Place. I find most of the CNA's are really conscientious, others are marginal at best. Real problem lies in feeding the residents in their rooms. Breakfast is scheduled for 7 am. it is now 8:15 and the breakfast cart is not even on the wing. That's awful!!!

Not perfect but no place us. The nurses and their assisstant nurses are very skilled, caring and kind. They are very professional and show true conviction to their assignment. Comfort of all patients is not lacking. And even when a patient displya a rude atitude, they respond kindly, firmly when necessary. The entire staff are hard workly and friend. Housekeeping, Dietary, Office personel, and Therapy.I've not meet every department but I feel safe to say they are A1.
