My Mom currently lives at Kempton. She has lived there for 3 years now. Kempton provides a clean facility and safe environment. The staff is very responsive and caring toward the people who live there. My Mom has made lots of friends there including members of the staff. She enjoys the many activities. The activity director and her assistant are super, always lots of creative activities offered. During the last 2 years, the Kempton Staff has been outstanding in dealing with the Covid requirements and supporting the residences and families. The Kempton is wonderful too because it is a small facility, and the small apartments provide a lot of privacy.

Placing my mother in memory care was a heart wrenching and very difficult decision. I want to say that making the choice to place mom at Kempton was in every possible way made bearable and much easier with the guidance and help from the loving, compassionate, caring and hardworking staff. Not only is it a beautiful, clean and well kept facility, you can see that the residents are taken care of and are happy. I show up unannounced many times and I walk in to mom being loved on and she’s kept clean, well-dressed and beautiful. The activity coordinators go above and beyond to keep mom engaged and active. Most of all, I owe so much to Laura Sawyer, Director of Nursing, who my words cannot begin to express all that she has meant to me and also for her never-ending devotion to every single resident and their families at Kempton. Her abilities to manage every aspect of the resident’s care astounds me! Please, if you need to send your loved one to a higher level of care try Kempton. You will not be disappointed. I owe them so much! It is also very affordable and the peace of mind is priceless!

Kempton of Hermitage This weekend, I had a pleasant and uplifting experience that I have to share! I visited a family friend at the Kempton of Hermitage. The first thing I noticed when I entered the building was that the facility was very well-maintained and orderly. The staff was very pleasant and the residents appeared to be very happy with their community. I had the pleasure of meeting Laura (the DON) and Von (the ADON) yes on a weekend!!! I experienced their love for professionalism combined with a level of care which exuberated through the the building. The staff watched over and were very interactive with residents. Overall, I am pleased to know my family friend belongs to a loving community and I would recommend Kempton of Hermitage's level of care to anyone requiring assisted living.

I had to stay there at the Kempton Heritage from October 28 two January 16 for temporary living assistance I gotta tell you all the people in that place has the biggest hearts and the warmth they give it to everybody if I was to die there I would long I wouldn’t want to be there these people really care for you I got to know them for 2 1/2 months between the nursing staff administration staff the engineer to two engineers The kitchen staff And all the directors it run a little little games like bingo ball toss memory they had Bible studies that games do you went on outings every now and then you had to sign up for it but there wasn’t one person that plays ever ignored anybody they’re always on top of their game and that’s what I call a great staff that works for facility like that to take care of the elderly They all got big hearts I recommend this place to anybody that wants to go there I gave a five star if I could’ve I would’ve gave a 10 star I highly recommend this place to anybody that wants to put some family members in there is safe and secure and they’re really on the ball when it comes to taking care of you a lot of hard-working people and dedicated to this place from my heart to yours thank you for taking care of me for Mr. Kelly from room 142 I will greatly miss you all thank you Brook thank you Miss Linda thank you Denise and Danny to all the nursing staff to the kitchen crew to Miss Pam thank you for the treats and to feel my friends. At the dinner table is Kathy Claire miss Carroll mr Frank Ms. K and a few other friends I made in there syrup today cranky old man Mr. Monday but he was OK he has good days and he just had a lot of bad days he was a moody son of a gun but he made us all laugh and then I hear the lady that was 104 years old she was a cute little lady for her age she schooled a lot of people in the lunch room and dinner time but all in all she didn’t mean anything just a nice old lady it’s OK to get old at least there’s a place you can go to get all the heart you need in life I am talking about a true heart of place of business on top of the game the Kempton Heritage in Nashville Tennessee I think you all each and everyone of you for taking care of me for the short time I was there God bless you please be safe out there all each and everyone of you in my book your 10 starsTo the heavens gates signing off Mr. Kelly

You know, the ideal situation for a loved one is to receive care in the home but for many like me that is not an option due to work. In my opinion the love, care and attention that my mother receives at Kempton is the next best thing. The employees I know at Kempton are in their calling, not just a career, because it is evident they have a genuine passion for our older senior generation and make them feel appreciated. You can see that on display if you just go see your family member regularly. I have witnessed how Kempton employees pick up on each resident's unique personality, and relate to them in a way that says "I care about you." Not everyone gets sweeter with age, and they still love on them all! This is so important to help our loved ones living there to feel like they still contribute to life and have a purpose beyond their pain. Kempton activity director regularly schedules many different activities from a 4th of July Party with all the props, to games, shopping and dining trips that keep my mother engaged and something to look forward to. Loving on people who are in their "Golden Years" is so important. They have given all their lives, and now it is a time for them to reflect on the lives they have lived and enjoy their lives to the fullest with less mobility. Kempton has been a safe place for her to enjoy those precious years and has lived here for over 4 years now. They did an amazing job during COVID with extra precautions that really paid off in the long run for the health of the residents! Kempton is clean, well maintained and welcoming. The quality of my mother's life has been made more rich with the many friendships with other residents and Kempton staff. If your loved one goes to Kempton looking for a friendly staff who has a heart for people, they will find their new home here.

I have been living at Kempton for 10 months now and couldn't be happier. An assisted living facility is just a collection of rooms untill one starts adding the staff to operate the everyday functions of the place. I cannot praise this group of individuals highly enough. Every person I've come in contact with here genuinely cares about the individuals they serve. One can trust their loved ones will be well cared for here.

The medication aide program was great! The staff fully supported us and made themselves fully available for any questions. I would recommend to anyone seeking to gain the knowledge

Really enjoy my time with the kempton, everyone is so nice an kind will help u with anything!! I love my experience with taking the Medication class it was hard but the teacher even the nursing staff made everything worth it

My mother stayed here during the last phase of her life. The Kempton staff was very attentive to my mother and my family as she transitioned out of this world. I cannot thank them enough for making such a difficult process so comfortable.

My mom moved into the Waterford for a respite stay. She had been told she could not longer live at home. She agreed to try it out for 2 months. The staff are great. It is obvious they care for the residents!! Tamara (the executive director) obviously is passionate for her seniors. Patty is an excellent assistant. Within a couple days, my mom was a changed woman. She had girlfriends (most of her other friends have passed). She loves all the activities, the food is great. We felt like her brain was coming back to life with all the stimulation of not being at home alone. A few weeks in, mom needed to go to the hospital for a 'tune up'. She was not happy to be leaving her friends and family at the Waterford. This is when she told me she would like to stay longer than her original 2 months. Mom's tune up took longer than expected and Tamara communicated with me on a regular basis to see how she was doing. Mom's new friends were concerned so I asked Tamara to keep them updated. I kept mom's spirits up, during her hospital stay, by showing her pix and videos of what her friends were up to from the Waterford FB page. Yesterday, she was finally able to go back. She was greeted with hugs and smiling faces as she went through the door. Lunch was ready and she had a spot with her friends. I can't say enough good things about this place. Although I know I have said a lot already. Schedule a tour and eat lunch while you are there. You can see for yourself.

This ALF has a unique atmosphere of healing that nurtures the mind, soul, and body. I see it in the residents, employees, and the building. I see it in the interactions of the residents with one another, the employees with each other, and the harmony when all are working together with their hearts. I am a nurse and love this place. I visit the Waterford when I have residents under my care there and look forward to visiting and getting some of that healing for myself. Simply the best...

My sister loves living at the Waterford. She enjoys the activities, she loves the food and is very happy there. She says it is fabulous. Everyone is friendly and caring. I am really pleased with the care she gets there.
