Admission to Green Hills Rehabilitation Center was very easy.
The admitting nurse was professional and engaging. She made the transition from the hospital to their facility much easier for my mother.

I was so pleased to see how my husband was being cared for..I immediately felt he was in caring and thoughtful hands. The young ladies were very respectful to both of us.
I was very impressed with the therapist, each with the knowledge needed for getting him back to functioning better. We look forward to working toward an improved life. It's a blessing to be here!!!

My dad was a resident of Green Hills Center for Rehab & H for about 4 months. Considering it was a very challenging time with COVID restrictions, I was able to feel comfort in my dad having good care. The staff made sure he was refreshed hygienically everyday. I knew that because I used to be able to see him on Zoom calls arranged by the staff. Anytime I had a question on his health/medical condition, they responded in a timely manner. I was permitted to enter & see him for an urgent situation, so mental health was also given attention. When they knew he had arrived at his last days, they unhesitatingly allowed me entry to be with him. I am very grateful to all the staff for their caring, starting with the top of management.

I am deeply impressed by the quality and professionalism at Greenhills Health and Rehabilitation Center. I have had the opportunity to interact with them on both a professional and personal level and have had nothing but great experiences . I am in the building 2-3 times a week, to visit my patients and have observed that the residents are always clean, respected and happy. The recent renovations have turned out to be quite lovely and have a personal touch. I am excited to see all of the positive changes and looking forward to having my family member in their care.
This is definitely a wonderful and caring facility to consider for you or your loved one!

Very friendly staff every time I visit. The patient I visit is happy there as well.

I have been so pleased with Green Hills Health and Rehabilitatiol for the care of my mother in law that I would give it 10 stars if possible. Finding a trustworthy facility where you feel 100% comfortable leaving a loved one is extremely hard... but our family found such a home with Green Hills!
(1) great location... extremely convenient to interstate, stores, and restaurants
(2) incredible staff... every single staff member has gone above and beyond their call of duty!
(3) super clean! Most nursing facilities have a distinct smell when you enter... Green Hills never has a bad odor and my mother in law’s room is always neat... laundry done regularly, trash taken, sheets changed, bathroom cleaned, etc...
(4) most importantly... the care my mother in law has received has been amazing! The nursing staff treats her with respect and totally stays on top of her medication and daily needs!

My mother was admitted to Green Hills after a traumatizing fall during the holidays. She was scared to death and very much in need of comfort before physical therapy. The staff was amazing and very attentive with all of mom's concerns. Joe Garafola was absolute above and beyond with his services for mom. Birthday dinner from outside was such a kind thought. Joe and the staff has helped us since moms release with medical issues and learning all available for home health care. I called Joe from mom's home after release with a concern and he talked to her on the phone and made arrangements for health care for her. Just a wonderful person in general. Another hand shake goes for the ability to provide all the care needed during the Covid concerns. We could not visit but had FT with staff and they did they're best to comfort the family as well as mom the patient. We can never say Thank you enough!

I am so grateful that my mom is at the Green Hills Center. She calls it "her home" and the dedicated, attentive, and loving folks who work there are "her family". It is a very accomodating facility. The kitchen staff will happily offer my mom another meal choice if there is something on the menu not to her liking. That however is a rarity, as the food is really good. I am kept abreast of any health issues or medication changes and she looks so well cared for. She loves having her hair and nails done and even has a volunteer position interacting with other residents. She thoroughly loves her "job" . It keeps her active and engaged and she always has a wonderful story to tell me. The location is fantastic and there are sidewalks so it is easy to take her for a walk in her wheelchair to pick up fresh peaches at the outside produce stand next door. My mom is happy and safe and that is truly a wonderful thing.

Everyone was very kind and cared about all my needs. I was there for physical rehab because of so many injuries I had to have assisted living for 3 months. The rehab I got from Dan Hall and Karen Draper was beyond helpful in allowing me to be able to escape as soon as I could to home life. Everyone was super happy for me when I left and showed how much they cared for my well being. If I was able to continue just the rehab as outpatient with them I would have because I still have a way to go before I'm back to normal. The one major negative here is the food. But if you have to go here for short term then its worth dealing with the food. I suggest having someone bring you some snacks and such to get you through the rough times. These times are never easy especially for me who is much younger than their average patient but at the end of the day they cared and helped me in so many ways. I thank them from bottom of my heart. And while I hope nobody ever needs to be in situation I was in I definitely reccomend them to help get you back on your feet both literally and figuratively.

My aunt and uncle (93 and 89 yrs old) have been residents at GHCRH for about 3 years and are very happy and well cared for. They are both still relatively healthy and mentally active, so I know their feedback on the staff and technicians is honest and sincere.
I do drop in visits often and have never smelled, heard or seen anything offensive or offsetting and I love that I can call or show up and speak to friendly, informed people at every level who know my relatives and understand my concerns and wishes for them.
I would not consider anywhere else for my family members. They feel safe, happy and loved here. I researched several places before we decided on Green Hills and they were the best! Still are. Thank you all for your professionalism, and even more for your genuine care. You are lifesavers, literally, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic. Well done!

I have worked here for almost four years from being a CNA to becoming an Activity Director! I love the team I work with and really appreciate every member of the building! Our number one priority is always been residents and making their journey with us the best! It’s a serious blessing to be apart of the residents lives day in and day out! I am always excited to see what the day brings for us at the “Big G”! We have also recently redone the courtyard patio and it is the perfect place to take residents to enjoy planting, movie nights, bbqs and so much more!! Super excited for what the future holds!

My husband has stayed at Green Hills Health and Rehabilitation on two occassions for Physical and Occupational Therapy Rehab. The director, Joe Garafola, and Unit Manager, Flo Randolph, are excellent and have been very helpful to us.
The Physical and Occupational Therapists are very good. Jon would have benefitted from improvement in the equipment available and more consistency in scheduling.
We have enjoyed the location. It is easy to push a wheelchair to the many restaurants in the area.

My Mom has been there just abt 2 yrs now and at first, of course, she was uncomfortable, but that was simply the transition. But she calls it her house, and enjoys all the activities. She knows all the residents on her floor and some on the others. The entire staff knows her and everyone seems to have fun with her, too. The place is extremely clean and NEVER has any odor, unless someone needs bathroom time. In that case, a CNA comes immediately and everything is taken care of. Manager trainees in shirtsleeves and ties do the maintenance and are vigilant abt checking rooms for any issues that arise. If I bring something to anyone's attention, they act upon it immediately with a smile. Everyone addresses the residents as Mr or Mrs/Miss and their Surname. I have not met kinder or more caring nurses! The therapy staff is amazing as well. The food is good, but it could use some variety, especially the produce. I think that the residents might enjoy some melon or pineapple, instead of canned fruits, as an example. Same with desserts; these folks probably made some lovely ones in their time, so maybe a small slice of pie, or a scoop of ice cream once in a while might be nice too. I have seen some SNF's with hot coffee, tea and cocoa available in residents' wings all day til 4 pm; I think that as adults, some of them might enjoy that too, once in a while. We have seen a couple of SNF's that had an ice cream day in the dining hall at 1pm one day a week, with old time music on CD's, played on a old-looking radio CD player. It was very cool to see the residents gather and visit. Or root beer float day, or milk shake day; stuff like this. Maybe a vending machine or 2 and the installation of a water fountain in the main hallway might be a good idea. As visitors, we get thirsty too! Many physical changes have occurred within the last year and the place looks even better than when Mom arrived! The physical maintenance is amazing, as is the laundry service; but a little fabric softener might be nice on senior skin. If these are my only concerns, I'd give the place 10 stars!!!
