I have been in healthcare for over 20 years and it’s been my experience it doesn’t take many visits at all to get a good sense on how a facility is maintained and ran. I have had the opportunity to meet much of the staff here over the course of the last several months. What I have been the most impressed with is the smiles and laughter I see with both staff and residents. A positive fun culture is so important for our Seniors as they age and I see this here. Both the office and clinical staff have been very thorough and responsive in regards to getting the best support for their residents. I have experienced this first hand with their DON’s as well as their social worker, Kris. Kris demonstrates a true passion for where she works, her teammates and residents! Keep up the good work AHC Cumberland!

I am a resident here at the facility for a short term stay but I enjoy each and every person that I have came in contact with staff here are friendly and treat you as you are they on family thanks for all you guys do for the residents and patients here.

My aunt was recently a patient at Cumberland Manor Rehabilitation Center. The staff there did a wonderful job with her care and I wanted everyone to know. The procedures put in place during the COVID 19 pandemic kept her safe during her quarantine process. Even after her quarantine procedure was over she was kept safe by having minimum visitors and scheduled times. They provided excellent and professional care. She is over 87 years of age and the staff with their expert knowledge of physical therapy was able to rehabilitate her for her release home. I would like to thank the nurses, social worker, and the event coordinator for all their help. They assisted with getting messages to her from her family. They also made calls to her family to keep the lines of communication open. I think the staff did a great job providing high quality health care and rehabilitation for my aunt. I would recommend this facility to anyone needing a nursing or rehabilitation center.

The three stars are for the real hero of Cumberland Manor, the CNA. I would have left years ago if not for loving bond I have for the home staff CNAs of Cumberland. They are the ones tearing down their own bodies to make sure the residents are comfortable. They are the ones that deserve raises and yearly bonuses. They are the ones that listen to residents concerns when no one else will. Another reason is team work. Almost everyone here is afraid to help another person because they might more work than someone else

The dietary department here at Cumberland is second to none. They have given me individual services among a home of many other residents. Gina, the dietary manager make sure ALL my concerns are addressed. She genuinely care about all the residents and treat us like her own family. It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be Nice. Gina Brooks is a good representation of what a true healthcare worker should be. Go Team Cumberland!!!

I have been employed at AHC Cumberland for about 14 months now. I have seen the growth and positive changes, the communication has greatly improved and I believe we have a strong management team. Our voice as staff is heard and we have a wonderful new Administrator and DON that strongly believes in open communication with staff and residents. I can say that I am more versed in my new role and am making great strides in being part of this amazing new team. We are making great progress, please stop by and see all the wonderful changes.

As a relatively new employee to AHC Cumberland I can honestly say I am very happy to be a part of this team. The staff here really go above and beyond to help you, and they genuinely care about the individuals they serve. As with any company there will always be challenges that present themselves, however I believe that if Professionalism and Quality of Care continue to be the focal point for the residents we serve then we will succeed at maintaining an establishment that anyone would be proud to call home. I am committed to excellence in all aspects, and I implore everyone reading this review to allow themselves to have their own unique experience, rather than draw from that which could be misleading.

So I am back again and one of my issue was resolved but I felt like since I recanted my 5 stars I was bein giving the cold shoulder I truly apologize to anyone who got their feelings hurt but Noones got hurt as bad as mine so I must give the current situation 5 stars I am still waiting for my apologies I am not in need of psychiatric help I just need RESPECT THANK U .I at first gave this facility 5 stars which was overrated anyways but I was bein nice because of the prompt and courteous attention that my issue was given but after I was approached again and called a liar I rethought my evaluation so I apologize for any confusion but why should I be the only one confused. The only reason I gave it one star is so I could post this lol or else I would have to give it a -- 10 stars. Well after the one situation was almost handled I have been lied about by 2 cna and a floor nurse and a so called wound care nurse, lol really petty but after the cameras are reviewed and the smoke clears lol so to speak I will gladly accept my apologies from 4 immature employees of this already facility that is on its last legs and than I must pursue my complaints with the ombudsman. But every body knows that u should always have proof before u accuse someone. I admitted my wrong and gave my word that I wouldn't do that again and I plan on keeping it. Especially now that I am going to have such satisfaction that the cameras will prove them wrong. I will post the apologies on this evaluation sight thank u. O how good I will sleep tonight knowing that I have the truth on my side. Yay for the truth shall set u free in so many ways. To quote the Bible vengeance is mine says the lord.

My name is amber kilbourn I've been here over a year now and I love it they are very caring and loving they treat you as if you were one of their family members there is so many good people here if you would ask me if I had anything bad to say about the people that's here I would say no because they all respect you and love you as if you were one of their family members everybody has their ups and downs at a nursing home but what nursing home doesn't I like everybody here but some I have a special bond with and when I leave from here I'm going to be sad but I know when I do leave from here I won't go back to the way I was because everybody has changed me over the year and has guided me through a rough patch in my life last year and I just want to thank everybody for being here for me I love each and every one of y'all thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This facility has an AWESOME team to care for the patients. I had the opportunity to meet with their team and was so impressed. As soon as you walk in, Bridgette, is so warm and welcoming! The Social Services Director, Kris, is so passionate about her work. She is devoted to helping the facility’s patients and ensuring their needs are met. Brittany, DON, is so kind and knowledgeable. Glen, the activities director, has the needed natural ability to connect with the senior population. This facility is doing something right!!

I have a family member that is at AHC cumberland. I love this company. They keep you update and and informed about your families care and needs. I actually visited the building over the weekend from west tn and the place was just amazing. I was greeted with a smile front the door. Everyone was nice and friendly. The activity department was serving cinnamon rolls to the residence and I just thought that was so amazing how they interact with them. The building was clean from the outside to the inside. I would recommend this safe and clean environment to anyone for your loved one.

I wanted to give a huge thank you to Cumberland staff as a whole. Specifically, the social worker, Kris Wright, has been a breath of fresh air. It was a pleasure to have spoke with her regarding my loved one. I spoke with her over the phone and I could hear the passion she has for the facility, families, & the patients.
