Making the decision to move a parent into assisted living is never easy, but thanks to Erin at the CarePatrol we had help navigating where to look, help setting up tours, and encouragement. Ryan saved us a lot of time and heartache. He found places for us with immediate openings and got us on wait lists for our preferred locations. He steered us clear of places with small rooms, poor reviews and safety violations. Instead of spending my time and my life on the phone begging to be connected to the right people to talk to and leaving voicemails and praying for a call back, I got to spend time with my mom when she was experiencing serious new health issues. We needed help on the start of a holiday weekend and Ryan was right there making sure everything was being taken care of. What a relief! I don't know why anyone would want to go it alone when there is expert help available. Most people might need to find a reputable place maybe once or twice in their lifetime for a family member, Ryan does it all the time. He understands what you are going through and is available anytime that you need him to be.

Care patrol is great organization to help families find assisted living for their loved ones. I had the pleasure of working with Erin. She’s great with understanding the needs of your situation. I live 2 1/2 hours from Wisconsin where my mother lives, and Erin was able to take my sister in law for a tour of a couple of places. Because our mother was falling more often, her current place was becoming unsafe. Our family needed to find a place for our mother sooner than expected. Within one week Erin found a place, scheduled a virtual tour and soon after we were able to secure the location. Mom has been there for two weeks and the whole family is very grateful she is in a safe location with more opportunities to socialize and keep her active and engaging. My family was referred to CarePatrol after my father was in rehab after a stroke and it became clear he could not live alone anymore. In the past I had used "A Place For Mom" for help finding assisted living for a family member in Chicago. I assumed CarePatrol would work in a similar way. I first contacted Julie Mattes, the CarePatrol advisor from Milwaukee area. She met my father at rehab and we discussed what his needs were. I didn't expect more than some recommendations in the West Bend area. I couldn't have been more surprised. Erin Brannan, the senior advisor for CarePatrol who we worked with was simply amazing. Our need was was very immediate. Even before she helped us with assisted living, she recommended a home care agency, "Touching Hearts" for an interim period before we could get my dad moved in. A perfect solution for us. Within a few days, Erin had appointments at 4 communities that fit our needs. She toured each facility with us, asked questions on our behalf without bias for any one location. Our family felt like we had the best options and could make an informed choice. Erin went above and beyond. She followed up with us and helped us with every aspect of getting my dad in the best community. The CarePatrol service was extraordinary and it was FREE! I would have paid for this level of personal service. As an aside, my dad was not very happy to be leaving his house. Now, after just a few weeks, he is happier than I've seen him in a very long time. I am so truly grateful, and could not have been so satisfied without CarePatrol/Erin's help.

Ryan Rabe was phenomenal in helping my family find a place for our father. He is a great resource and answered every ridiculous question I had about searching for a home for my father. Once I started speaking with Ryan, we had to accelerate our search for a memory care facility after my father was placed in a rehabilitation center following his pacemaker surgery. While he was at the rehabilitation center, he was labeled a two person assist. Unfortunately, because of the economy and a staffing shortage not a lot of facilities were able to take him. Ryan never let us lose hope that we would find the perfect place for my father, even after many “we cannot accept him” comments. After, three weeks of searching Ryan found a place for my father where he is very happy today. I plan to recommend Ryan and CarePatrol to anyone that asks me about how we found the right place for my father. I will also tell everyone that it is an overwhelming process searching for the right facility so, why not use an expert, who has connections within the different communities, and their assistance is a free service for your family.

Ryan was a real asset in helping our family locate a good home for our dad. He is very well connected in the Sheboygan area and we trusted his judgment and advice which was used often through the process. Ryan has a great ability knowing when to chime in and when to step back as decisions are made. All this at no cost to the family. Highly recommend this service. I worked with Ryan to locate a suitable and affordable location for my 92 year old aunt. I found a great local assisted living that I wouldn’t have found without him. I was given bad advice by another establishment and was looking for a care center that my aunt didn’t need. Ryan reviewed my aunts needs and I had a meeting a day later with the manager of an appropriate assisted living facility. My aunt was being discharged from the hospital and going home was not an option. The care center was able to extend her stay a few days while they prepared a room for her. It was a fantastic experience and I am forever grateful to Ryan for his focused and dedicated work with my family. Thank you so much!!
