My mother was a patient here for nearly a month. Abby, the social worker, was fantastic. She took a personal interest in my mother’s care and went above and beyond to help my mom feel comfortable. Most of the other staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The major complaint that my mother had was about the food. It was inedible. It was delivered cold almost all the time which made it even worse. No fresh fruits or vegetables were offered. The patients deserve to have decent food served. Just because they are elderly is no excuse to short change their nutritional needs. An effort should be made to get patients out of bed and outside for fresh air. That happened only a few times for my mom, and that was thanks to Abby,

My mom moved into valley center in August, I’m extremely happy with the friendliness and support of the staff. Mom has had a few hiccups upon moving in, however Lexi and Nikki are on top of resolving any issues that arise. I really feel they are at 4.5 stars with pushing to 5 as they work on resolving some food issues. The facilities kitchen leadership needs to make sure staff understands allergies and works to serve all residents warmer meals. Maybe they should take time to eat with the last residents served and see if they are satisfied with the meal that is served. I’m really happy with the team work that I’ve seen the employees provide in daily care for my mom.

My dad had a month long stay for rehab at Valley Center this summer. His care was top notch. The nurses were amazing, all shifts. They all treated him with respect and compassion. I would highly recommend this facility.

I love the employees at Valley Center they have always been so caring. The housekeeping is doing a great job at keeping odor down it always smells clean. Any concerns I have are always resolved quickly.

I was at valley for almost a year i was in there with my mother. It was a experience I'll NEVER forget. I'm out been out for a little over a month. My mom is still there. I hated it but itrulet loved some of your staff. Brandi my nurse and Debbie was my aid 3 days a week. Having loving people help you make it easier to be some place you hate to be. I thank God daily for certain people that would get up and put a smile on them you'd be able to smile. Abby the social worker is amazing, she can always make me laugh. But I hated getting cold food on all 3 meals daily. I'll be glad the day my mom can get out and come be with me. I was hit by a car barley survived had two brain surgerys I was on life support in a wheel chair for 5 months. I thank God I'm so much better and that I'm out. I pray for all of them .

Valley Center is a very nice place, the outside and inside are very clean. I go there every day. When I visit sometimes the residents are outside everyone is smiling and laughing. When I encounter the employees they are very nice, friendly and helpful. I would recommend Valley Center 100%.

The admissions process was smooth and super easy! Guest Services was great with communication throughout the whole rehab experience. Great nursing staff. I am beyond impressed.

Staff has been great to me! I am so thankful for the care I have received! They are doing God's work! Only complaint facility could use an update! Other than that staff is top notch at valley center and I've been to 3 other genesis facilities! Hannah in physical therapy is so dedicated and determined to get me well again! Guest service Nikki really listens to my concerns and take appropriate action quickly! Lexi in admissions made this process for me smooth and easy experienced no stress! Activities always has something interesting to do you can never say you are bored!

My mom has been at Valley Center for almost a year now. The staff is very friendly and keeps the family informed of what is going on. We have had a few issues but I speak to Nikki at guest services and things get taken care of pretty quickly. Mom seems to like it and that is what is most important.
