This is one of the several used record stores in Wichita. I love these kinds of places because you never know what you're gonna find. They have used and new vinyl records of different sizes. Along with tapes and CDs. So many option made for music lovers

Great place to get music in Wichita, staff are helpful and friendly and they have a good selection. Prices aren't terrible, but don't expect to get new or popular albums for cheap. Good vibes inside the store. Small but it looks good.

It has been a long time since I've been to a record store! Not only was the staff very helpful, they were able to find me most of what I was looking for even if they had to find some in the stock room. Great place and decent prices.

This store packs some serious heat, they've got Can, Burial, Liars, Stereolab, Low, and Coil???!!! Very neat, though, I wish they would widen their Electronic music section, as that's what I'm here most of the time looking for. The drive just from Derby to here is way too dangerous for me to have this be my go-to record store, but at least it's only 30 mins away.

One of the two best record stores in Wichita. I like the fact they participate in record Store day. And if they don't have what you're looking for they can probably find it. Every vinyl store has a little bit different grading system. I would recommend. Edit: Same store same amount of records incredible amount of records. I'm not completely on board with the buying and trading aspect but that's a different issue. Very picky on what they buy.

Best shop in ICT, Adam a crew do a great job making store awesome. I've been a fan since their old tiny shop in SE Wichita, Boulevard plaza center. Selection of new/used is pretty diverse and getting more genres all the time. If they don't have what you're looking for ask if they can get it, cause they are batting a .1000 on every request I've made. They have vintage and new gear for sale and will buy records.

This shop has an ecclectic collection of records ranging from modern hits to the original pressings of some older classics. Always has something different playing through the house system when I'm there. You can spend five minutes or five hours here, but do yourself a favor and give yourself time to explore.

Don’t believe the negative hype of the nay-sayers. This is a great store with a fantastic selection. It’s privately owned, this isn’t WalMart with J Lo albums and BS Radio trash. Shop owners sometimes have to step out and handle their biz. If you want wrapped up repop’d vinyl go to the mall. If you want a killer selection of many genres and some hard to find material along with some nice vintage goodies - go here.

I've gotten more vinyl here than anywhere it's been a very good value, trustworthy grading marked on each cover makes it easy to go through, excellent in having fresh inventory to buy up. Extremely nice and welcoming their selection is super diverse. Classic oldies to brand new albums. A spider came out of one of my record bags once. You should expect such a thing when buying records from 20 years ago but be careful when looking at them on your bed😂 …

One of the friendliest staff I've met at a wax shop in the entire world. Heavily curated selection, and you're not wasting your time in any bin in the shop. Great selection of used/reasonably priced audiophile gear as well. If you're passing through the midwest, make sure you hit up Spektrum!

BY FAR the best selection of new, interesting, and unique records in the Wichita area. Their used stock is OK too, and reasonably priced on most stuff. The guys were nice and helped me order a record i've been looking for! Honestly the selection of well-known indie releases, reissues, and hard to find / obscure stuff makes the other stores seem stuffy & outdated. My only complaint is that the place is very small and sort of hard to find. Have gone back several times, and always find something I want!

Well, I brought in some old records from the 70's and although some of them "may" have been worth more than i received, i must honestly say it was a fair deal i received. I plan on going back this Monday with 63 more records!!! -Love this place.

Edit: I went back to the store recently and had more luck finding what I was looking for. The person working offered to order an album they didn't have. Not pushy, very knowledgeable and helpful staff (knew the album I was interested in and could descibe the cover art). Much more enjoyable. Shame on me for judging based on one visit. Will definitely shop there again. Original post: Nice store, not much stock of popular albums. I recently bought a turntable and was excited about getting some of my favorite albums on vinyl. I couldn't find a single one that I was looking for. Metallica -Black Album, Pearl Jam -Ten, Pink Floyd - DSOTM-WYWH-The Wall, RHCP - BSSM, Nirvana-Nevermind, Michael Jackson-Thriller, Fleetwood Mac - Rumors, Matthew Sweet - Girlfriend, Ben Folds - Any. I was disappointed. I can see missing one or two of those but to not have any made it feel more like a flea market than an actual music store.

Spektrum Muzik is an up an coming record store located less than 5 minutes from downtown. The store is owned by a knowledgable pair of gents who are not only entrepreneurs but collectors as well. Although it is not the largest shop you will find, the experiences I've had here have always been pleasurable. There is something for everyone here; new, used, alternative, metal, rap and hip/hop, electronic, experimental, etc. Limited edition vinyl, new reissues, you name it, they can probably get it. They also specialize in printing tees and other items as well. If you are a collector or just the occasional enthusiast, stop by and check them out.

It's great to have a record store in Witchita, not just with old records but with new ones too. Even if new records can be sometimes cheaper to find online (whoops I said it) there's nothing like digging through a horizontal stack of records at a store for a specific album but getting distracted by whatever familiar album you or someone else you know might find in the process. Viny collecting has been becoming popular in recent years and while I might be biased it's definitely a fun hobby to invest in. Fun place, hoping to come many more times with groups of friends.

It was discouraging at first, however, they were actively helpful and provided great recommendations based on the artists I asked for. I was working in my study late one night while trying to find a shorter route to India, when I discovered Spektrum Musik. After inhaling deeply, I exclaimed, "That's one small toke for man, and a GIANT toke for man-kind" I immediately went downtown and slept on the sidewalk until the store opened. When they opened, I went in, but I couldn't remember what I wanted, so I just walked back home. I'm going to go back there when I remember what it was I wanted. If I can find the address again... They have a mannequin in the front window too. I love mannequins!!
