Not as much selection as their Orlando location but still worth checking out.
Located in the lobby of Your's Truly Hotel.
A carefully curated record boutique

The record shop is inside the “Yours Truly DC” hotel lobby. Cool shop with lots of Soul, Funk, Hip Hop and Jazz

Great little shop with a nice selection of funk, soul, pop, and rock records (all vinyl), both used and new. All the records looked to be in great condition. I picked up a great Herbie Hancock record, and I plan on spending a lot more money here.

Tried to visit one time at the posted hours (not right at open) but the shop was closed unfortunately. No sign, no information as to when they would be open.
I went a second time and luckily they were open. It’s a super cozy shop in a sound-isolating glass cube so you don’t feel like you’re in the middle of a hotel lobby/cafe, and they were playing some great sounding records (no surprise there) through the store’s hifi. The vinyl selection was a mix of new and used LPs and 7”s and most of the used stuff looked to be in really nice condition, though I don’t think I saw a single LP priced under $20. The selection was also pretty small - about ten bins - but felt highly curated. They had some high quality turntables and other audio equipment for sale behind the counter too. I would go again if I wanted to buy a nice gift for someone but I’m not sure I would come back to search for anything for my own collection due to the high prices.
Edit: To the owner, thank you for the reply. I understand the limitations of the space and not wanting to make it feel too crowded, however I didn’t see any of those $5-$20 bins you mention despite going through every bin during my visit. I’ll ask when I come back. I still feel the shop prices were abnormally high (especially when compared to other used record stores in the DC area) and that can unfortunately create a high barrier for entry into vinyl. I personally think vinyl should be accessible for everyone and I’ve been to dozens of great record stores in recent years that excel in doing so.
One other thing - I didn’t notice any signage for the shop within the hotel lobby or on the street. Is there any? The shop isn’t visible when entering through the hotel entrance, only the cafe entrance, so I would suggest putting up some signs inside and maybe a sandwich board outside. Just my honest thoughts.

This place is dangerous! Having a record shop with a wide selection of my favorite genres of music (hip-hop, funk, and jazz) make my wallet cry out for mercy (me) whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Love the shop, keep doing what you do!

Lovely small and compact store. Records can be pricy but are fair. This place is the epitome of quality over quantity. Hip addition to a hotel lobby.
