Small ORGANIZED COLOR CODED store! The owner wasn't there, but I was told by this very nice employee that the owner was a wealth of Vinyl music knowledge. They even have 45's for sale! As I journeyed further into the store I discovered that they sale old but good condition record players🤗that made me so nostalgic. I enjoyed the few minutes that I was in there and I hope to go back. I have to say it's been a while since I have been in a record album store, Vinyl Daze Records Virginia Beach is the place to go the young man running the store was very helpful and engaged in conversation. I fully recommend visiting this store, if your on the hunt for unique and music from the past or new they most likely have what your looking for. I had called and inquired about an album I was looking for and yep they had it, made my day 😊 go visit just for the nostalgia of long ago music that you probably haven't heard for a while!!! Ohhh and the pricing right on point!!!

The two gentlemen working today were extremely helpful. At no point did I feel pressured or ignored. The vinyl options were plentiful, and prices were around what you'd expect. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

WOW!! I just moved here from Tennessee a month ago where it’s hard to find a decent store with new and used vinyl. I have been a collector for years and literally haven’t left the parking lot yet as this place deserves every star. HUGE selection, very organized, and the owner is great to talk to. Found things I could not find anywhere else in the area. HIGHLY recommend.

Stopped by yesterday to satisfy my curiosity and what can I say? Vinyl Daze has a terrific selection, reasonable prices, and a friendly, knowledgeable staff. I've played a couple of the records I purchased and I think they grade in the buyer's favor, which is always nice. We're in the Virginia Beach area several times a year and they are now on the must-visit list in VB along with Pocahontas Pancakes for breakfast.

Super friendly staff, amazing selection but perhaps most wonderful is that everything is organized by artist and genre. No hunting through miles of albums to find the artists you're looking for! They will get anything they don't have for you if needed and great knowledge by the staff.

Even during the crisis our nation finds itself in these guys stayed open and provide a very much needed outlet. The store is very well organized and locating what genre you're looking for isn't complicated. The staff is always more than willing to be helpful whether it's finding what you're looking for or ordering it if they don't. A little on the expensive side but not outrageous. Excellent selection of collectibles and rarer records.

Great selection, I got there about 30 minutes before closing, so I'll have to go back, but the gentleman was super nice- he said take your time and thanked us several times for visiting. I did find 2 great kinda rare rock records and would have found so much more, but I was limited by time and didn't have a ton of cash at the time. Great store to give your business to.

Incredible store!! Owner extremely friendly and knowledgeable about all things vinyl. My son bought a record, which was a bit dirty (which happens with old vinyl) and the owner gladly let him play the record first, to make sure the quality was good. Then he took the record, cleaned it and dropped the price by $5! Fabulous place, good selection and good prices too!

This is my favorite record store ever. I've been going here for years. The owner is usually there, and he's really helpful, and really nice. The rest of the staff is great. The selection is amazing, and organized well. The prices are reasonable, and you can get anything from new vinyl, to rare vinyl. I don't have any cons to this place.

The Greatest record store I’ve ever been to! This is a very special place, the very place where I started collecting vinyl. Every summer I visit here on vacation, it has the best organization of vinyl I’ve seen from any store, with sections for the Beatles, Stones, David Bowie and much more! They’ve got so many great albums that I’ve often lost track of time and end up spending an hour or more there! I distinctly remember buying Wings Over America, Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs and The Doors’ debut back in 2016 as part of my first ever vinyl additions. I’d like to thank the amazing and very friendly staff there! It feels like home away from home! It’s made for a great experience!

My daughter and I just went to Vinyl Daze for her birthday. Not only did they have what we were looking for but they had records from all genres, decades, and more. If you are looking for any record, I suggest you step inside! Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable! Incredible customer service! Best record shop I have had the pleasure of finding. This place is a treasure. The owner and his staff are immensely helpful and if you're not careful you'll walk out with a full hi-fi system and two arms full of vintage records. Highly recommended not only for the amazing atmosphere but also for the vinyl gems in stock.

This place is fantastic! My first visit was about a month or so ago to sell some old vinyls that I had, and they bought a pretty wide selection of the records I had to sell. (I had about 50, they bought 30 or so, and I got about $60 for it!) After that great interaction, I've been back about 7 times and have spent over $130 on more records for my collection. The store is basically split in three sections: classic rock (middle section when walking in), Pop/R&B/Hard Rock/Metal/Etc. (left section), and turntables and other records (room to the right of the store). I'm personally a fan of The Beatles (as a group and solo artists), Billy Joel, Springsteen, Van Halen, Journey, KISS, etc. and they have a great selection of all of the previous mentioned. The only minor (and I mean minor) inconvenience is that the store is on the side of the shopping plaza, which makes it a bit hard to find, but does not at all take away from the experience that you get when you walk in, just an inconvenience if it's your first time going to the store. I keep coming back at least once a week just to check if there's anything new in stock and somehow I always end up leaving the store with more records and less money than I came in with haha - anyway - 12/10 would highly recommend for a visit, to buy records, sell records, or even to just listen to the music they're playing in the background. Great customer service, great selection of records, no complaints about this place at all.

Stepped in, was instantly greeted and shown around the store. Both of the fellas working the floor were kind and knowledgeable. Being kinda new to vinyl I had a lot of questions and they had the answers. The selection was great for most genres, hopefully they expand their rap collection in the future though! Prices were fair, as of course I compared while shopping. Would definitely recommend.

As soon as I walked in I felt very welcomed. Martin gave me a full tour of the entire store and showed me how all of the records were organized so I could find the music I liked easier. He also offered some tips for maintenance of the records which were super helpful! The entire store is so organized and well kept. It's a great place and I can't wait to revisit for another album!

this place has got a little bit of everything and even some of those deep albums you will be lucky to spot at any other store around here. the owner is knowledgeable, friendly, and seems to be a genuine music lover just like the customers. grest layout. easy picking. could explore for hours if you have the time. Always good music being played to even further heighten to experience. Solid amount of audio equiptment sold and the employees are eager to help you get the right set up put together for a price that works for you. all around, best record shop i have yet to step into.

Vinyl Daze is amazing and has the best selection (AND ORGANIZATION!) of any vinyl shop I've ever been to. The owner (Martin) and his employees are beyond helpful and friendly. I have never honestly met anyone more knowledgable in their job than these folks. They seriously know all things music. I purchased > 15 records awhile back (November), and after getting back home in the DC area, realized I purchased several duplicates. I phoned Martin and told him my situation, he just told me whenever I come back to swing by. Well that was today .. and upon returning back to the store today, they were willing to give me the money I paid back as a full refund, but (of course) I instead exchanged for more Vinyl. These guys are seriously the best, and I would recommend Vinyl Daze to anyone! Oh, and PS .. any of the < 5 stars are from those who can not be pleased, this is a 5 star shop, without a doubt.

This place is just incredible! It is the epitome of the brick and mortar independent record store where every customer is greeted as they walk in the door and a relationship is fostered with each visit. This was no exception on my visit. The owner, Martin, greeted me right away and took me on a tour of his store showing me how everything was laid out. The organization and cleanliness of the titles (and store in general) was impeccable. I know exactly where to go to find anything I'm looking for after just one visit. If they don't currently have a title in stock, they are more than happy to special order it for you. They carry a huge selection from old/used to new and across all genres. They also carry all of the Record Store Day Exclusive releases. I spent $64 on my first visit and there are a ton more titles that I'll be back for. I look forward to patronizing this store on a regular basis for all my music/vinyl needs!

Vinyl Daze is a well-organized, well-stocked, vinyl-only record shop with lots of good finds in their bargain racks. Everything else seems a bit overpriced, but this comes from a guy who enjoyed buying the latest and greatest in the 70s for under 4 bucks a pop, so what do I know?

Absolutely loved this place, everything is well organized and easy to find. The owner even made sure that I got the best quality record for the same price as the one I picked up. Wish it was closer to where I live, but I don't mind driving a bit for a place like this. Make sure you time your trip out on maps or whatever gps you use because Laskin road can get very busy and Virginia beach traffic jams suck.

The owner (Martin) was very personable, knowledgeable, helpful, and polite, showing me every area of the store, where each genre was, what was new, etc. He even went in the back to search for a few albums I did not see out front. This is one of the most organized record stores you'll ever visit! I come from Pittsburgh, home of Jerry's Records and other great record stores and Vinyl Daze is one of my favorites! I go every time I'm in VA Beach. It has new, used, imports, great 45rpm selection and a room to test play any record. It's an all-vinyl store and a must stop for record lovers, collectors & junkies! Give yourself a minimum of around 75-90 minutes to go through the store thoroughly.

My wife got me a couple of records from this store back in November and she told me this place was amazing. I went there myself and I was really impressed with the best selection of records in the store. Yesterday(03/21/2015) I went to get a turntable and the owner of the store (Martin) personally took care of me, taking his time to help me select the best turntable. He even cut me a deal with some records and helped me with the technicalities of having a new turntable. He even told me of coming record releases coming to the store in case I was interested to know. I believe THAT is customer service that will make me return to shop there at least once a month and probably become a regular customer! I am looking forward to my next purchase!

This is the place where the serious record collector goes to find the "hard to find" vinyl. They also have those very collectable Record Store Day releases. Be aware though...when they say 'Vinyl' they mean it. There are no CDs for-sale in this store that I saw.
