This is such an amazing shop! They always have so many books that you might never expect to find and I always find books from a series I'm currently reading that I can add to my collection. They have records, CDs, DVDs, video games, books, cassettes, and board games. I never go in there without coming out with a new board game I've never heard of before or one that I saw at a store that was way overpriced but what able to get at Last Stop CD Shop for a way more affordable deal. I will continue to visit whenever in need of a new, fun, surprising find.

The Industrial Retrospective

I have been buying stuff from this company since 1998, from all their various locations over the years. I cant say enough positive things about the business, as I have purchased from and sold them tens of thousands of dollars worth of music, video games, movies/tv shows, books, ect. Everything they sell is of the highest quality and fairly priced, especially their video games which have always been cheaper than anywhere online. The staff is awesome to interact with and they know who I am when I come in to any of the locations, so it always has that local business small town vibe. They have adapted to trends and formats over they years and I not only use their wait list for stuff, but I stop at both their physical locations on a weekly basis. If I could give them 6 stars I would. review update 2022.11.16 still just as good as always!

Cool place, great prices, absolutely awesome selection. 3 levels' worth of records, CDs, books, games, movies, etc etc. The staff was super helpful, the atmosphere was great, and I'll definitely be returning for a few albums in the future! Highly recommend if you have some time to kill in Sioux Falls.

Was not expecting this place to have a huge selection like they had, it was great! Employees were helpful, prices were fair for the most part..(couldn't justify buying Def Jam Fight for New York on PS2 for 225 dollars w/o the manual). Very nice vinyl selection. Other than breaking my heart with the price of that game..because you know..nostalgia..I loved this place.

Nothing really wrong with this place, it just seemed a bit dull and open. The selection of books, music, and movies was extensive but not really eye catching. I generally really enjoy stores like this but I want impressed. This place makes for an interesting area to browse if you're looking to spend some time. I did enjoy the clearance/overstock was $0.99 for most items. Likely won't return to this location, but I wouldn't shy others from it.

I frequently visit both Last Stop CD Shop locations and let me tell you, the employees are all one of a kind and some of the most respectful people I have come across in my entire life. I went in to get a new game for my Nintendo Switch and the gentlemen who helped me was kind enough to explain some of the functions I didn't know about the system as well as just having a great conversation about new releases, accessories and life in general. This is one place I know I will always come back to visit and check out their amazing variety of movies, games and consoles (retro and modern). I bought Super Mario Odyssey and I only paid 44.99. (side note, this game was still wrapped in plastic and in the case, yet I still got a 15 dollar discount on it). I left a happy man.

If you are looking for music, books, games, movies, or music, Last stop CD shop is the place to go. They have great prices on their items and you can find a little bit of everything. I have not traded anything in to their store but I do hear they are fair in the pricing. They also have a special that you can get stamps for each movie/ book you purchase and can get one for free or money off of a game purchase and they have a similar special when you come in on your birthday month. They have two locations in town with great staff but I prefer to stop by the one closest to home on 10th street. Their building layout and atmosphere is great and I enjoy stopping and browsing through their selections

This is one of my favorite stores in Sioux Falls. If you still like your books, movies, games, and music on physical media like I do, it is hard to beat. They have a huge selection, and if there is something they dont have, they will let you know when it comes in automatically. I have never sold to them so I can't comment on that aspect of the business. They have a punch card system for a free movie or other things once you get it filled out, which is fun. People are helpful and friendly. Overall a great place, and highly recommended.

If I could live there, I would. Joking aside, they have a very expansive inventory and other branches in case their location specifically doesn't have what you're looking for (it happens). Everyone is down to earth and actually seem to enjoy their job, they're helpful and convenient, however, that also comes with a price. A game I wanted was listed at the store for almost $50 (to be fair I would have paid it), but my boyfriend found the exact game PLUS another for $20 online. Depending on your gaming needs, it may be better to wait and save money, then again, I was willing to buy it off the shelf myself. Game on. N64 4>everrrrrrr

These stores and there website can really be the Last Stop on that search for that missing book or movie for your collection ! New and slightly used options. The store was very clean and super organized clear signing and explanations of categories and pricing! Got a new game for my switch at half the cost of retail and almost bought a game boy colour too. The best place in my opinion to buy used games and used devices. I bought a Nintendo DS and a game and both were in great condition. I also got a 90 day return warranty on my DS which is great and not available at most used gaming stores. Recommend 100%!!

This place has everything! I've ended up buying many CD's and video games that I normally wouldn't have because the prices are so cheap. Some of the newer video games are a little overprices, but it's a great way to catch up on old titles. My girlfriend also walks out of this place with large stacks of great books. Many people don't know about the art exhibit in the lower level called post pilgram and then through the art room is a room called the white wall sessions which is a room you can rent for photography or go to listen to live music. PS I didn't follow my own advise and I spent $23 at walmart buying the new bumblebee transformer movie just to find it at last stop 30 minutes later for $15.

They have a plethora of new reissue albums mostly mainstream stuff that only conformists are into: except for Insane Clown Posse aka ICP. Also, their video game selection is barely better than the last stop on 41st. Their selection of 4k resolution films is average for a second store.

Endless DVD selection that includes the biggest blockbusters along side the more obscure cult classics. The staff is knowledgeable about the game systems, iPods, iPads, and will patiently answer the stupidest questions without condescension. And if that alone isn't enough for you then the competitive pricing on everything, the fun atmosphere, the extensive book selection (although intellectually misguided), the clean bathrooms and the people watching alone should convince you to visit the store often and eagerly.
