I have used Josh and his staff for buying, selling instruments and repairs. In all cases the services have been exemplary. I have them set up all my guitars and even modified a Fender Blues Jr amp to accept headphones. Just excellent service all around.

I've brought my cello in about 2 ro 3 times, and each time has been an amazing experience!! Every worker there is so so sweet and they make it a point to communicate. They have been so quick with fixing my instruments issues, and are absolutely amazing about telling me when it's done and telling me what was wrong, how they fixed it, etc. 11/10, absolutely recommend these guys!!

Had a tuneup done on an SG Gibson, there was a incorrect charge on the bill and the owner made it right again and even offered free work. I've never had this kind of care or interest from a business before, so they get 5 stars and my gratefulness.

I purchased a violin from them and it was set up very well by them at an incredible value. I was shopping at two other stores before and tried much more expensive instruments and it beat them all out with a couple of bow strokes. The staff was amazing, kind, and outgoing! I highly recommend shopping here for your next guitar or violin.

My daughter takes violin lessons here. The shop is comfortable and clean. The staff is always extremely friendly. They even have coffee while I wait. I recommend J Rieck Music to all of my family and friends who love music—we are lucky to have such a great shop in Sioux Falls!
