I had been looking for a certain bass for awhile, and could never find one locally. Took a gamble, and bought one from The Bass Shop (which is 2400+ miles from me) and couldn't be happier. They said the bass was in excellent condition, and I must say, you could convince me it was a brand new bass off the wall. Their communication and customer service was great. The bass came packaged and protected extremely well, and the shipping was really fast. I asked them to set the bass up for me a certain way, not really expecting much since I'd be changing the strings out and it's so subjective anyway, but I was actually surprised at how well the bass played out of the box with their setup. I would have no hesitation purchasing from The Bass Shop again.

I made the trek from Olympia to the Bass Shop, and it was definitely worth the trip! Jeff was a huge help and very customer friendly; he listened to me as I discussed my amp needs. There were no pressure sales, and I had an idea of what I was looking for, but we confirmed it by trying several different configurations. I ended up buying one of the two amps I was looking for, feeling good about the purchase knowing that I had a store to go to if there was a problem. Thanks again, guys. The Bass Shop is THE place for all electric bassists. The bass collection is well curated with both reasonably priced professional instruments. For those with deeper pockets, there are many beautiful instruments to choose from, too. In addition, they have a selection of boutique effects and both used and new amplifiers. Shout out to Chad!

I've used The Bass Shop to sell two cabs through consignment. I spoke with Chad, the owner, about my equipment through email. He was friendly, communitive, and was able to give me a price going off of the pictures I sent him. My interactions with the staff at the shop were pleasant. No pretentious musician vibe here at all. Just bought a bass from The Bass Shop, and the service was top notch all the way. First off, Chad responded very quickly to my emails, and I had several. I purchased the bass online at ~7:00pm local time, and it shipped the next day. It arrived very well packed and exactly as described. Chad was also available for any setup or adjustment questions. I'd definitely recommend this shop and would purchase from them again with no hesitation.

The Bass Shop picked up the torch not long after Bass Northwest went lights out... There's a really nice variety of great basses here! A smaller but growing selection of vintage and interesting modern amps, and a couple of each of the pedals you need to make an awesome board! The prices on everything are competitive, + the staff is super friendly and helpful 😃 Great place!!!

Great shop that is well organized with a very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I'm a novice bass player and Jeff answered all my Amp questions with great down to earth advice. I'm going to purchase my next practice rig from them and I live in California. That's how great this place is, I'm more than happy and willing to pay extra to keep them in business. Must stop for any bass player who finds themself in Seattle. P.S. My wife wanted me to mention how they nice they were to her and my girls, she said that's very uncommon.
