Had the best experience buying a piano here with Aaron. Was in the market for a really nice used upright. Went to every piano shop in town and Seattle Piano Company had the best pianos at the best prices. And I have to say, the best salesperson/crasftman too. What is clear is that Aaron really cares for every piano that comes into his shop. The instuments here look and sound fantastic. The man loves restoring beautuful things. And Aaron's selling style is very low pressure and conversational which is exactly what works for me. He's just a fun, knowledgeable person to talk about pianos with. I came back on 4 separate visits during my buying process and he paid me his full attention each time. And to top it off, he was able to install a silent system on my 1979 Kawai for about 2/3rds the cost of other piano shops. Really happy to have done business here. Love my piano. Thanks Aaron

If you're looking for a high-quality piano, stop by and visit Seattle Piano Company. I shopped several piano stores in the greater Seattle area but I had the best experience here. They really care about the pianos, not just making the sale. Thanks to the shop owner's smooth buying process, I am now the proud owner of a Yamaha U3 and I couldn't be happier! :) It looks & sounds absolutely gorgeous!

Make this your FIRST stop if you are piano shopping! They have the best prices around (including against online) and excellent customer service. They went above and beyond letting us test/play their pianos that weren't even out on display. Super patient and knowledgeable as well.
Shopping here is a great way to support a local business and know they will take care of you in the future. 5 stars.

Aaron was very kind, honest, and helpful. Even though we ended up purchasing a piano from another dealer based on inventory, his advice was useful and insightful, I had a great experience.

Aaron was super helpful with picking out a digital piano. Everything was smooth, they shipped it the next morning for free!

I bought a digital piano just before Christmas. The owner, Aaron, answered my emails almost immediately and was a wealth of information. You can tell right away that he's a kind person! When we went to pick it up I was amazed by the showroom. It's this huge warehouse in Sodo, with exposed brick and old industrial remnants, and scattered through the room are these amazing grand pianos. I loved the contrast of the gorgeous pianos in the old industrial setting. It's beyond perfect and the pictures here do not do the space justice.
My son loves his new digital piano, and when we upgrade to a real one this will be the place we go.

I purchased a Casio PX 870 digital piano from the Seattle Piano Company. They were able to deliver the piano to my house and helped me get it set up. Very friendly staff and highly recommended.

I quarantine purchased an early 90's Yamaha M305 piano from Seattle Piano Company in November 2020. The owner Aaron is awesome. He not only answered my inquiry same day (after hours), but also made a little video of him playing the piano so I could hear it prior to purchasing as I live on West Seattle "Island" and couldn't get over to their location with my work schedule. I was able to electronically sign for the piano and pay over the phone with credit card (but they also have financing). They also do first floor delivery free (local), the first tuning free, have a 5 year warranty, and a lifetime trade-in for the value you purchased your piano. All they do is sell used pianos and refurbish them to like-new. The delivery people were great, making sure our wood floor was protected, and put casters under the wheels of the piano when placing it where we asked. The piano is beautiful, has a great sound, and been a fun quarantine hobby. Highly recommend!

We just purchased a Yamaha upright piano from SPC last month. This instrument has such a beautiful sound and such easy action that it’s hard to stop playing once you start! Aaron was a joy to work with at every step of the process. What stood out was his deep knowledge of every piano in his showroom. He was able to speak to where he sourced the piano we chose as well as what steps he took to refurbish it to its current like-new condition. Everything from payment, delivery, and complementary first tuning went smoothly. Highly recommended!

Seattle Piano Company was exactly what we were looking for. New pianos are expensive, and used pianos are difficult to shop for because most are in poor condition (or difficult to judge if you're not an expert on pianos). The owner, Aaron, is a piano technician himself and met with us to walk through the inventory in person.
We ended up buying one of their higher end uprights after a couple of visits and debating which one we wanted. I'm just getting back into playing after years away from it, so it was important to have a piano that I won't out grow once I get used to playing again. Aaron was like an encyclopedia about all of the manufacturers and had a lot of insights in what to look for in evaluating a piano. No pressure to buy, just answers to all of our many questions.
They are a local Ballard business with minimal overhead, so it goes without saying that their prices were very reasonable as well. Highly recommended!

Aaron is just the best. I did not end up buying a piano here due to not finding quite the right one for me, but Aaron was still extremely helpful in my search.

I had a wonderful time visiting this show room. You have to call first as its a warehouse in Ballard. I was brought to a beautiful show room and Aaron gave me time to play several pianos. I have not yet made a decision, but I really enjoyed the process. We are so lucky to have this lovely shop in Ballard.

Very knowledgeable, professional, and non-pushy staff. Really want to make sure you get the right piano for your needs with no effort to upsell. Delivery and room placement was on time and professional as well. Excellent experience all around.
