If we could give 10 stars, we would. The store is fantastic, with lots of retro stuff from vinyl to old books. The owner is amazing, tried to help out in the best way he could. We asked if they had a specific record available, and he said he could order if needed. Since the record wasn’t available, he tried to find the closest thing. He was very attentive. Truly an amazing experience! The store sells unique clothing, tapes, records, books, patches, stickers, and skateboards. This is most likely the best experience we had so far with such a store.

Coolest most chill atmosphere! The owner is always accommodating, to everyone. My daughter and I have always had luck finding new, rare and local music AND the raddest skate gear, apparel and 'other' awesome oddities! We go every week.

I love Raunch! Please don’t expect to see some basic, boring record store if you go! Raunch is a million times cooler and caters to quite a few tastes, especially on the edgier side! The record selection is great, but so are the pins, patches, stickers, decks, books, posters, accessories, and just about whatever else you can find in there! The staff are incredible, too; everyone is always an absolute delight any time we go in and are always happy to help with whatever! The owner is wonderful and very personable as well! He takes the time to get to know his customers and makes sure you are taken care of, gets the coolest stuff in stock, and even supports local artists while doing so! 10/10 recommend Raunch records! Please go and support your local businesses!! 🖤🖤🖤

If your a fan of black metal . And love spikes or nails 6 in long. This is the place. This place could be a great underground shop. But it's right in the open.got some epic cds . Stop by!! And bring your music taste. !!

This is an amazingly awesome place. I lived in Utah for four years before moving away. In my experience (and opinion) the owner Brad is the nicest shop owner in Salt Lake City. It was actually a little surreal at first. Salt Lakers usually don't do small talk with strangers. He showed genuine interest in getting to know me. That is VERY rare in this town. Brad had super knowledge about all the genres I am into. He was not pretentious when it was obvious that I had No idea what I was talking about. He did not have the bands I was looking for. To be fair, those bands are really well known and sell out quickly. They fly off the shelves. Brad did turn me onto other bands of a similar vein. I am looking forward to listening to them. Brad also had lots of free tech advice about systems and sound. He also did an amazing job of not up selling me on tons of stuff. I hate that. I did not feel pressured to buy anything while he made recommendations. This store is awesome. If you are into brutal metal this is the place to come. Any time i find a Sleep album I am happy. Raunchy Records....its super sleazy like an Italian plumber's spicy cock!

Normally like this place but a little frustrated that I came far (out of state to check it out) and they listed they were open online and even there store hours on the door said they were open but they in fact were not open. There were multiple customers outside the front and back doors confused when I was there. From my memory of the previous time I was there, it is a good record store with friendly service. Hopefully they are open next time I am in town.

The staff are more than friendly and knowledgeable about music, boards, and their respective merchandise. They have a wide variety of each category, including books, pins, and stickers. The stickers and pins come in constantly so there is never a shortage of good finds, no matter how obscure.

The best record shop and skate shop in the entire state. Raunch is integral and essential to Salt Lake City counter-culture and its history. SLC wouldn't have a punk scene without Raunch and Brad Collins. I have been a regular for about 3ish years now and will be until the day the building crumbles or my body gives out.

Brad Collins of Raunch Records has been a music staple of Salt Lake underground music for 35+ years. You won't find anyone more knowledgeable when it comes to punk rock, post punk and related genres. He runs a well stocked shop, and always has a friendly word. He also carries skateboarding equipment and supplies. Stop in, you won't be disappointed.

He's got a great selection of everything from pipes to candy to signed lithographs, magazines, CDs, tapes, records....and his prices are always fair.....raunch records is the last standing relic of the SLC punk scene....raunch records is SLC punk & hardcore...don't miss the wall of the old punk flyers from all the shows he promoted throughout the 80s and 90s on the wall leading to the back door.
