Great store. Attentive staff. We didn't find what we were looking for (new vinyl), but they definitely had plenty of stock of classics and hard-to-find music. Every turntable owner nearby should have an occasional browse through this spot.

Stopped by here for nostalgia. I was quite impressed by both the selection and condition of the albums available. Prices are competitive, many great bargains. Staff is polite and non intrusive. If you're looking for albums and 45's, this should be your first stop.

Selection of popular music was pretty amazing but the selection of indie and local music was one of the best I've seen. Will come back if I'm ever in Rhode Island again

I wish I could give this fine establishment more than 5 stars. I would give it 100 if I could even. their pulled pork sandwich was delicious and their Mac and cheese was worthy of the heavens above. if you are EVER in Providence Rhode island, stoping at Olympic Records and order a pulled pork sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese. tell them Dave sent you. godsend <3

Great if you're looking for something specific... 5-20 dollar range on LPs (all very clean and in great condition. I prefer Round Again (other side of Wikenden) or Time Capsule in Cranston. Never seen a better assortment of 45s, though.

What a great store! I’ve spent many hours here. Kevin is awesome, super knowledgeable and friendly, he has multiple times kept items aside for myself and my daughter that he thinks we will like. Can’t get much better than that.

went in here with my boyfriend last weekend and absolutely loved the cute pictures across the entrance. the owner was very friendly and shared a conversation with my boyfriend when he had questions and even newly packaged a vinyl he was specifically looking for just for him. a good selection of oldies and i was pleased to see a lot of vinyls i usually look for in the sections, and also the japanese version of sunshine of your love by cream. so sick! will revisit when i have more money.. lol.

I recently visited Olympic Records for the first time and was quite impressed. The first thing I noticed was that David Johansen's "Here Comes the Night" was playing, which I appreciated. The store is a decent size and, but was good and well-organized. Kevin, the owner, was friendly and knowledgeable. Often, record store owners and/or staff can be judgmental and pretentious, and Kevin was neither. I traded in a handful of LPs and a couple of dozen 45s, and he gave me a fair price, which I used to purchase some LPs. All the records I bought were in VG+ condition and played great. Also, Kevin answered several questions I had about record cleaning techniques. If you haven't already, check out Olympic Records.

Great place for classic rock - every Dylan album on the wall, and crates and crates of stuff to choose from. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. A few indie rock 7”s and vintage record boxes and other cool stuff like that. Support your local record store - you’ll be glad you did.

I'm kicking myself for not getting this guys name. He is grounded, knowledgeable, and really friendly. Selection is unique and very reasonably priced. I've been to record shops around the country and throughout Canada, and Olympic Records ranks among the top. Kudos to this small shop with a great vibe

Excellent selection of great, classic rock and other stuff. The owner is a real nice guy and knowledgeable. You won't find any bargain bin stuff here, but you will be certain to find sought-after nuggets. Well worth checking out!

Went in on a whim. Walked out with 6 very good records in great condition. For fair prices. Classical records very cheap. And they even had a Latin section which is surprising as many stores around here don't carry it. Will be back! Also love that there is a turntable powering all the speakers right in the middle of the store.
