Good record digging for jazz, funk, library music, and other experimental styles. Also a large collection of bootlegs on cassette. Smallish store that is easy to browse during a quick visit. Some vinyl you won't see anywhere else.

authentic dirty crate digging vibe, in comfort! selection is always amazing, whatever’s spinning is always slappin’ and the owners are a couple cool cats; very knowledgeable and helpful. if you’re a veteran collector with a short “want” list, this spot should be your next stop. you may scratch a couple of those items off the list

I made my first visit early this afternoons. I was immediately reminded of all those small record stores that have more tasty stuff than the big boys. Vas was a gracious and knowledgeable guide. I came away with a pile of records and a wealth of new music to pursue. If you are a collector, it is well worth the trip.

Best record store in RI for me hands down. Find lots of cool new music there. Great if you’re into jazz, prog, experimental type stuff. Good selection of hip hop and classic rock too. They have a listening table which is nice.

This is the best record store/music research center in Rhode Island hands down! I spend hours on end learning, digging and talking to the amazing folks who run MRL. It's hard to describe how amazing this spot is but I'll try. - Friendly Staff. - Knowledgeable. - Well Priced Records. - Tons of Rares. - From World to Library they have it. - Listening Station. - Amazing Selection 1,3,5$ Records. - Etc. the list goes on and on. Honestly. I've been to all the spots in providence. Olymipic, Round again, Analog, Whatcheer, In your ear, Time Capsule. But MRL is the Bomb! A must stop for travelers or local diggers.
