Reviews of Guitar Center
I did an in-store return of a guitar purchased online from another location and I purchased a used amp. The staff made my return painless and were reasonably helpful and friendly. I would definitely consider stopping by / buying a guitar online from them in the future.
Guitar Center at Plymouth Meeting has a very good selection of guitars again post-pandemic. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Some inventory is still low like luthier supplies, pedals, etc. There are some expensive Martins and other guitars locked up, but you can easily find many budget and mid-range models here.
Consistently inconsistent. Been going here since they opened this location, I don't know, 20 years ago? They were the cooler alternative to Sam Ash back then because it was younger musicians working there, they had much more to choose from, and the prices were a little better. That changed though, and over the years they've definitely become pretty much exactly like Sam Ash, and I'd even argue that for certain things, Sam Ash is preferable. I've had good experiences there, I've had not good experiences there. Never extraordinary enough for 5 stars, never horrendous enough for just 1. I think my experience today exemplifies this.
I went in specifically for a pair of drum sticks for my son. A pair that his band teacher recommended. They had them in a pack if four, but not just a pair. Ok, no big deal, I know they'll be used. So I took them and walked around the store to see if I could find any gift ideas. In pro audio I found a Warm Audio WA87, I've been looking at getting a WA67 for a while now. It was used, and priced low enough that I was going to buy it, just wanted to find out more. I waited a bit, someone came in and went behind the counter, so I was like, "hey, what's the deal with this WA87? It's pretty cheap." He goes, "I have no idea..." and I just looked at him confused and said, "oh." After a few seconds, he started walking away and says, "I work in guitars, I was just dropping something off." And that was it. He didn't grab anyone to help me, he didn't offer any help or solutions to get help. I spend a good deal of money on musical equipment, and I was about to here today, but after that I put the sticks away and left. They had what I wanted, but not the people willing to help me get it. This visit was more of a two star, but overall they're a 3.
I'll be taking a break from guitar center for a while. I'll get the sticks at Sam Ash, and I'll keep using Sweetwater and Reverb for pretty much everything else. Don't have high expectations going here, and never use them as your only option. You will be disappointed.
I've been shopping at Guitar Center Plymouth Meeting since the store opened. Lots of changes but still there and that's a good thing. My catalyst for this review is my wife Deb of 25 years and good dudes in my experience. I have bought so many electrics from under $1,000.00 to maybe $3,000.00. I like Gibson Les Paul Customs but as great as they are and they are really great electric guitars I have found Explorer style, Strat style, Tele style, and unique guitars that are cool but maybe not something I would play on stage. My Acoustic is really really nice and I don't even like playing acoustic so I always say "yeah I found it at GC" as a part of sharing that axe with friends. Thank you!

Service is good. Instructor is great. Check 'em out.
Very helpful and friendly staff. They were very eager to look at our electric guitar and show us how to tune it and work on it. They sold us a set of strings and an amp to go with the guitar and showed us how to use it. I will definitely go back.
Friendly and helpful staff. Lessons for guitar, reasonable prices and a great teacher. Highly recommend the knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Update: students get a nice discount on purchases. Very positive experience.
Staff showed immense care and aptitude and helping me find my first guitar. Tommy is the man, deserves a steep raise!
Great experience. Went in to buy a new amp as I was unable to make my purchase online with a stack of VISA gift cards. I still had to order one cause I was being picky and wanted it brand new, but the Sales Rep Jay not only input them twice when it didn't work, but was able to have a great conversation about basses, difference between the electronics styles and rigs.
Glad I went back to this location for sure and you won't be disappointed either. Most gear still has the plastic wrap on it and they have a stellar selection for any musicians needs.
In present time… a store with what I found to be great customer service! This seems to be part of the equation missing from a lot of businesses now a days. Like i said I have ordered from
Them and have done returns with pretty much no issue what so ever and always found the customer service in house to be pleasant. A real refreshing experience! Nice work guitar center
At the time I went didn’t seem to have enough sales people on the floor to help with customers. But they have a wide selection of merchandise to look and try out, so that’s something. 🤷🏽♂️ …
I had a great experience. I've been to Guitar Centers in several different states. They have a great selection of guitars and a very friendly helpful staff. They also have a beautiful hollow body guitar I sadly had to walk away from. Music aficionados should come give this place a look.
The sales staff at this location were so much help and went above and beyond to help my sister find exactly what guitar and amp she was looking for. You do not always get that kind of service at music stores, so it is greatly appreciated and I will be giving them more of my business in the future. 5/5. Would recommend!
Good store, service was nice. When asking about a product, they did seem a little bit set on the one they thought I should get (which was far more costly). Decent selection and they had a small sale going on for labor day which was cool. Went to look at headphones and ended up getting what seems like a better set for a better price at best buy though, so know your options.
Great service....the staff is super friendly and helpful. I would give the store 5 stars, but I feel like the selection and inventory - especially in the drum department - has dropped off in recent years
I bought a used amp from this GC over the phone from out of state. Having had a very bad experience w/a different amp at a different GC a month prior, before I called to order I looked at the reviews for this GC and saw the great things people had to say about Jay. When I called, I asked for Jay and the the rumors are true, lol. Jay was super cool, super professional and very helpful. If you visit this GC, ask for Jay and you'll be good to go.
I've historically received horrible customer service at pretty much all guitar center locarions(it ususally takes a billion years for a sales person to approach, then when I finally get helped they start kissing a** after they see how big the purchase is) They barely carry any pro audio gear in stock nowadays and it seems like they mainly focus on selling guitars. Not nearly as many customers are in store as in thier hayday so sales has no choice but to help you. Mainly it is a good place to go to test out studio monitors or other gear before you buy. The gear card is good, because you get free money everytime you use it. Order online and pick up in store.
This guitar center seems like it would be great until you get inside and realize that a lot of the floor space is opened up and there are very few employees. I stood in line for about a half hour just trying to buy a pack of guitar strings. It wasn't the person who was working's fault it was the company's because the guy working was working every single counter in the entire store by himself. the man working was very polite and complimented my girlfriend and I and thanked us for waiting but the store needs to work on their scheduling and keeping their store stocked up. I understand that they sell out during the holidays but I went about two weeks after New year's and there are only about five guitars left in the store three of which were beat up terribly and I actually had the money and was willing to make a purchase of a guitar that day but decided to just order offline.
This is a GREAT store with GREAT people who love music and their customers! Jordan from the lessons is absolutely wonderful. He's professional, friendly, and patient. My daughter loves her guitar lessons with Bryan who is also wonderful and talented. My family always have wonderful experiences when we visit the store and impressed with everyone's great customer service.
Highly recommended!!!
If your serious about GOOD gear, this is your place. The luthier there is top notch as well.
The sales people are really cool too. They share the same passion for music as there customers, and happy to help get the rite geat to the rite Coustomer.
I personally haven't purchased anything there, I didn't absolutely love.
Great selection and friendly, knowledgeable staff. They let me play a bunch of guitars before I made my purchase. Very helpful picking out an appropriate amp and other gear as well. Highly recommended to check out this store.
I'm sorry it's going bankrupt because I always really like the folks, the employees, who work at Guitar Center. I don't love the huge corporate strategy and I think its closing will be a much needed boon for the mom and pop shop which should drive guitar and music sales for musicians. We need to find a way to merge large corporate music sales back into the mom and pop local shop for sure.
I had been thinking about getting a new acoustic guitar since I have been trying to learn finger picking. We were driving by guitar center and for some reason my wife agreed to wait in the car while I ran and plucked around on some guitars. I walked into the store and headed back to the acoustic room, which had a few people playing in various locations around the room. I walked around 3 times and felt awkward trying out my new finger picking skills in front of strangers so I left the store without doing any plucking.
Great service and awesome guitars. Got a beautiful case I can take on my bike, & a new black Matt guitar Tanglewood. Happy all around.
I had my axe (a 2000 Fender Am Std Jazz Bass) set up. The service/customer service was on point. It's like having a new axe! I didn't realize that I've had it since 2010. It's recommend to have your guitar checked 2x a year due to the constant changes in the weather, temperature, and humidity. After being without my guitar during the period it was being taken care of (not even 24hrs), I pulled out an axe that I have, I purchased from a guy who attempted to make it fretless. Hopefully the neck isn't too far gone. Gonna have it regretted and such. I CAN'T BE WITHOUT A GUITAR AGAIN!!!!
Bought my first guitar here and I have to say, amazing staff. They were helpful with any questions or concerns I had buying my guitar. Looking forward to coming back
Staff was very friendly and there was a great selection compared to other guitar center locations I've been to.
The more music centers the better. Guitar center is another known music store with various instruments, pro and beginner, new age and traditional. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Keep up the good work!
Ok stock. Ok attention to clients. Ok prices. Not much noteworthy.
Great selection and friendly, knowledgeable staff. They let me play piano before I made my purchase.
This is a GREAT store with GREAT people who love music and their customers!
Love the place if you need any instrument they have it new or used
Great selection of guitars and every other mainstream instrument. Decent prices and knowledgeable staff. I've never been disappointed at any location.
The associates were very helpful and knowledgeable.
The customer service was unbelievable fantastic remarkable they was pleasant con respectful when I left out that store I left with a smile on my face 100% thankful for the service that they gave me
Great place and amazing staff! I was looking to test a specific model drum set, and while it wasn't on the floor, Matt assisted and gave me the info of when it'd be available! Very helpful and friendly service!
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have some really cool toys. Music lovers can spend a good amount of time here.
Great place to buy any kind of instrument video or sound you can buy, plus the staff was really nice!
Great service dept. Took two guitars in to be evaluated, cleaned and tuned. They did all this and explained a few things and didn't charge a penny!! Love this service, will definitely return!!
Fantastic service!! Guys at the front desk were knowledgeable and super kind. Just went into the store today, never touched a guitar in my life, they made it so easy! I wish I remembered the guys names but I was too pumped about the guitar, Haha!
It's a Guitar Center. They have all the standard music sections. The only reason I left out a star is the fact that I'm tired of tuning the acoustic guitars every time I go there. The service is fantastic from the staff and they always have great suggestions.
Came in to sell a guitar. Thought I’d have to push for the price I wanted. I didn’t. Great guys. Fair offers.
People are great here. Will keep coming here for odds and ends and an occasional new instrument.
We've used this store 3 times now. Each time the sales people were extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. I never felt as if I was pressured or being upsold. Every option was laid out for me and in the end I have been happy with each decision I made with their guidance.
Updated review: Went to Guitar Center this past Saturday, 06/01/2019, and experienced fantastic customer service! The difference from my past experiences there was tremendous!
I was given space while walking around and looking at some items. Then, a kind gentleman asked if I needed help. He was attentive and answered my questions. He was helping another couple out at the same time, so he made sure another employee would take my item to the counter for me to get me rung up.
Absolutely awesome - thank you :)
The best in the area, The staff actually knows what they're talking about as unlike other big box music store, and they care about finding the best match for you. It's just an all around good place, with good people, and good times.
Took a minute to get approached but once I did I got very helpful and friendly service.
This place is honest and friendly. The people who work there genuinely love music and instruments and it shows. I am taking guitar lessons and my instructor Josh is fantastic and patient.
The Guitar Center is a music place where you can get all instruments and lessons and it's like absolutely wonderful my grandson wanted drumsticks so that he could play the drums and he didn't want to leave the Guitar Center I will take him back
One of my favorite places.
Friendly staff, engaging without being too pushy. Pretty good selection but they kind of hide the used gear. It’s in a small dark room as you come in. The nicer stuff is hung on the wall outside the room. Just feels like an after thought.
They are knowledgeable, and nice. Guitar selection is nice, and normally have what's needed in stock.
Outstanding employees. Those guys, and girls, really care about music. No complaints. Ok, maybe one. They didn't have a dean from hell in stock. Sorry, you gotta have one on the floor to get five stars.
Who doesn't like a music store. With a great staff that will bend over backwards for you and I seen this staff do it. Keep it up ☝.
GREAT! Fixed my guitar for free, and were very helpful in selling me a keyboard. Extremely friendly staff and a great selection of merchandise.
Been buying strings and things for years , as far as tech work I use #modshopguitar , 🎸👍 …
They make the effort to satisfy you. great selection. They even have a music studio. Bought a pair of speakers, came in damaged which sometimes happens, returned on of them the other one i kept for an offered discount because it wasn't functionally disabling. And within a week I had the sub intact. Mark and his manager did an awesome job at getting me my birthday gift.
Friendly knowledgeable staff and generous. They fixed my grandson strings no cost and let the other one play on all the drums with different sticks until he found a fit....not to mention when I brought the guitar last year they gave him a case for free....my free thing. The guitar was pricey enough so mom mom.
Good experience. Everyone I passed asked if I needed help. Was just there for a strap and they had a thousand to choose from.
Friendly and knowledge staffs, very helpful. They have guitar lesson too.
Love this place. I Did have a problem with buying a bass for a Christmas present. They said it was in stock but it was not.I was also keep waiting over am hour while they searched for it in the back stock room...it was 3 days before Christmas so I understand the stress. I was told someone must have stolen it? So I ordered it online and received it to my home in good condition but it was not under the Christmas tree as I would have preferred. Otherwise I'd give this place 5 stars. Some staff was rude... others very friendly and helpful.
I drive past at least three Guitar Centers to get to this one; it seems to be the only one east of the Mississippi River to have knowledgeable & friendly sales staff. Excellent
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. You didn't have to hunt somebody down to ask a question.
I had Kent set up my Martin (which I also bought from this store). He us a great, friendly, intelligent guy who clearly knows his way around a guitar. He let me watch and explained everything he was doing in depth. It took a very little amount of time and now plays much better. Thank you!
Staff was extremely helpful but unfortunately many of the displays were set up just as displays and I was unable to interact with many of the recording and DJ gear set up there. This is unfortunate as I was shopping for many pieces of equipment and I could not try any of them. It is useless to have a set up such as they do with no drivers on computers that seems to be dedicated to give a try to any piece of Hardware that you can buy there. Short of opening the box there is no difference to shopping for this type of equipment there or online and they will price match in the store that's a bonus I suppose but if I can't try out the gear besides just feeling it it doesn't really make it worth it to me. It is clear that guitars and other musical instruments are their main goal as you can try pretty much any combination of instrument and amplifier on that side.
Have all my guitar needs and they let you try out drums.
This is one of the nicer guitar centers I've been to. They have a good selection of guitars to try. Not just Epiphone and Mexican Fenders.
I had a fantastic experience here when stopping in to trade a few pedals and head units for another I had seen on their website. Gwen was fair, friendly and quick to help me on my way. I would definitely recommend considering GC for trade ins.
The staff here are attentive without being overbearing. They are friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable.
Awesome sales reps!! Mike was so helpful!! Love this place
Rep understand and helped me purchase what I needed for an audio system.
I love going to this store. Yeah, it's a ride from Philly but worth the trip when u get there. Anything I need they have it!
This is a great guitar center store. The problem is that it's a guitar center store. Positives first, the staff is amazing, and have helped me out more times than I can count. The store is always kept clean, and there's always a way to demo something without needing to call over a staff member. It's a great music store in that aspect. My biggest issue with the place is the selection of gear they have. I use a rackmount guitar rig, and needed a new case, so I stopped by and saw their section of cases. I found zero. Many accessories and things advertised on their site were also missing. I understand not everything can be fit into one store, but there seems to be more throwaway items than actual gear I and many others need. Still, this problem becomes more or less mute, because of a free "Ship-to-Store" option online. I can't complain too much about that. It's a very nice store, and if I'm in the area, I definitely stop by, but I prefer to selection of Sam Ash to GC's.
Knowledgeable and helpful staff. I bought a friend a guitar as a present and Gwen was awesome. She asked me helpful questions and didn't try selling me the most expensive guitar but the best guitar . Thank you my friend loves his new guitar.
Nice and professional staff. The bass section could be more interesting.
Super friendly and helpful staff, had my acoustic set up by Joe and it plays better than ever!
Tried to surprise my girl with a new autistic electric guitar and got the wrong one. I came back in and the one i needed was gone but they found me a better one and the in a case.
Good store, social distancing was in effect, though at this time I would not allow customers to play keyboards.
Great store friendly staff. Constantly changing inventory.
Great brick and mortar (one of the remaining ones) store. You can order anything online and have it shipped there in a few days.
Great customer service and friendly staff 👍. …
I bought my bass, case and strings from this place. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and their prices are decent.
Often times in retail these days it’s difficult to get real help in the store environment. The gang at guitar center saves me time and points me to the appropriate products for my skill, ability, and needs.
Always a good deal on Sound and DJ equipment but the selection could be bigger. Definitely get the no hassle extended warranty.
Awesome Place have good deals and they work with you
Pricy but quality items. Good variety of items. Knowledgeable staff. You can touch and play the instruments. They offer lessons.
This was my first time at the Guitar Center in general and at this particular store, and it was a great experience! The personnel were experienced and professional, the store was well organized, and if you're in the market for a student guitar that's of excellent quality but at an affordable price, the Guitar Center is an excellent way to go. I'm a brand new student of the guitar and I am Quite satisfied with the bargain that I got and some very good and patient advice on the care of my 🎸. And, yes, the have every type of instrument that you can think of besides the guitar. Check them out and I'm quite sure that you'll be satisfied.
I've come here for years and have had great service but just recently in the microphone section I had a employee with horrible manners eating while talking to me giving me short one word answers when I'm trying to get explanations and all in all try and just get rid of me but one bad experience wont stop me.
Guitar Center is Kool & the Gang always love could Guitar Center Tony few phone calls and I would buy from Guitar Center since they open and they all cool everybody is cool
Beautiful so many guitars amps basis drums keyboards buy and sell
Great store, convenient free parking, knowledgeable sales help
Staffs were nice but no in-store product available...
Great sales associate in the Langhorne store. Did a party last night and was rocking with my Pioneer DJJSB3 Serato!
Great place for guitar lessons. My son loves it and sounds so good playing!
I love Guitar Center, the atmosphere is cool no matter which one you go to, but this one and these guys are the best.
I've gone back to this spot every week for almost two months, trying stuff out and occasionally buying, but always coming with plenty of questions. They've given me answers, advice, tips, and the most pleasant gear-huntingexperience I've ever had.
Guaranteed, until I hit it big and start getting stuff custom made for me, from now on I'll be getting everything music-related from THIS Guitar Center. Good thing I live close by.
Mike G was extremely helpful and a solid guy. Knows the products and gives excellent customer service. See Mike!
at Guitar Center rn and this man Kyle is an excellent help. God Bless Guitar Center Plymouth Meeting!
Great staff. Verity of musical instruments.
As always, great deals and helpful, friendly staff.
This place is awesome.. I like the people on here, the way Guitar Center personal treat is wonderful👏. …
It's well organized and has many guitars, some drum sets and some keyboards. However, its selection of guitar stings is limited. The salesperson who assisted us was friendly and knowledgeable.
Good customer service. Plus everytime i came in store had just or knew what i needed
Great customer service and highly knowledgeable staff.
Really nice shop
They had nice acoustic guitars in the budget price range, but the air freshener scent in the showroom was so strong that we couldn't stay very long.
Always meet the coolest people there. Some of the coolest sales reps are musicians!!!!
Selection is minimal. Staff is limited but helpful. Allows in-store pick up of online purchases.
I would have given Guitar Center 5 stars if it wasn't for the the guy who approached me and asked if I need help and then disappeared. I asked him if they had a certain guitar in stock which according to their website they had he replied that he would go and check. We waited about 10 minutes and then we saw our forgetful friend helping someone else. Then he went to another customer and proceeded to get him something and check him out. We were then approached by another employee who asked if we needed help and I told him I was waiting for the other guy who was allegedly helping me and when he approached him about it he looked confused. Anyway the other guy was very nice and very helpful and took care off us very quickly. Overall a great place to by a guitar or other music needs.
Signing up go violin. They have classes in every instrument. They also tuned my guitar and changed one of the strings for free. Nice staff.
I love this guitar center all the staff are awesome and super helpful. They rock.
Just stopped on my way back to Dublin Ireland very friendly. Great stock
Super knowledge staff. Very helpful. Prices are workable
I have been a long time customer and bought a lot of gear there... it's always a good experience. Rod is an amazing GM with a real good vibe, always extremely helpful and cares about all the right things. Aidan is a great and friendly guitar tech and all the sales guys are laid back, knowledgeable and very helpful. Two thumbs up!
There when you need them! Decent prices.
Good music store prices could be better.
My husbands favorite place on Earth... I love it bc he's not up my butt all the time. I know where he is when he's not with me.! Thanks guitar center for being my husband's babysitter!
Love this store! Amazing and knowledgeable employees with a true passion for music.
Bought a Fender Champion 100 amp from thereexcellent amp & great staff
Great service, very helpful staff and sales manager.
They were very helpful, checked a bunch of times in the back for itens we couldn't find right in display.
The shop has got a lot of variety but the sales persons are too slow or probably nobody will attend you for a long time.
Good place . Lots of instruments to try in store!!
They are ready to help and don't pressure you
Nice place, nice people, very helpful, knowledgeable. Didnt have what I wanted but gave great suggestions/alternatives. Bought it.
Nice place to learn and buy music instruments
I liked there selection of merchandise!! And the employees were very helpful too!!
Great for buying instruments that have great quality
Catalogue with walls. Probably 98% of stuff you don't need and the rest is stuff that's probably already on your wishlist from Amazon. Try a guitar out but make sure it's got a good set-up. These stores are notorious for having high quality instruments with low quality playability.
If you love music here is the place
They were very helpful and the establishment was very well maintained.
Very very friendly and helped me a lot best guitar center near me!
If you're looking for musical equipment, you can't beat Guitar Center. They've got everything you need at competitive prices. Yes, the workers are paid on commission, so they'll try to upsell you, but you can also negotiate a bit on cost.
Great service by the guy in the drum dept. 👍👍 …
They do under pay for used guitars but friendly staff clean and organized store
Best guitar shop in the Philadelphia Area. Ask for Steve Love.
Love the store and the service is awesome.
Selection was average. The staff was not musically knowledgeable so don't look for help from them.
All good vibes and wide selection. ✔ G😉😉D Altitude 2. …
Kevin was a great help. He sold me my yamaha and waived the restringing fee. Awesome guy.
We been going there for years. Love it
Good place always leave the employees need a little more experience though of what their selling!!!!!
They have the guitars I love
Great selection and fantastic, knowledgeable staff.
Great service, I always find what I need! 👌👍 …
Interesting used inventory matched with kind employees.
Great selection of guitars. Great staff
Helpful and interested in helping me get everything that I needed
Love coming to see all the cool.instruments
The staff is always helpful and friendly.
They didn't have what I needed, and they want two weeks to restring a guitar 🎸 …
Guitar center on chemical road was great!!!! Mark was excellent!!!
The sales clerk Gwyen was pretty cool. She helped me figure out my husband's father day gift by schooling me on all things drum sticks! With the help of Gwyen & my husbands band mates we figured out! Super friendly & understanding that this wasn't my scene but made me feel comfortable!
After dinner on a weeknight is when you want to go here. Fewest number of other customers.
Great customer service and selection
Always able to rely on professional service!
Awesome place, great staff.
I stopped in to have my Martin DX1KAE looked at for some fret buzz issues. Upon my arrival I was directed to Kent who was the repair man. He was incredibly helpful and did very in depth work. His actions show that he clearly knows his way around a guitar. He allowed me watch and explained everything he was doing. The visit took a short amount of time and allowed me to get back to playing my guitar. Thank you!
Awesome place. Maybe a little expensive on the cables
Good Service and reasonable prices.
Guitar Center is the best for music gear and advice from experts
Great store very knowledgeable
Awesome store, very helpful and nice staff
Awesome people there to help out
Friendly helpful staff everyone I encountered A+ experience
Great deal on a SICK guitar!
Friendly staff, good product selection considering the times.
I only looked at acoustic guitars, so this posting is strictly in reference to the acoustic guitars offered in this location. They have a decent large acoustics room with two smaller rooms, one closet sized that is all classical, the other a medium sized room for Gibsons, Martins, etc...
The rooms are great and the guitars are offered in a variety of price ranges. Most of the classical guitars were cut aways with electronics, although there were a couple of decent not cutaway classical. Fairly limited supply, but much more than almost any other store I have visited.
More variety with the steel strings. The main room offers mostly intro lemme laminates, some banjos, mandolins and ukeleles. A good selection. The back room offers the real Martin's and Gibsons, but with the exception of a few lesser instruments, a sales rep will have to unlock these for you.
I did notice that some of the instruments are out of adjustments and the buzz is so bad they are unplayable it the action is so high that they don't play properly in tune. Also, some of them needed to be restrung. It's hard to get a sense of an instrument when the strings are that dirty.
It's a typical Guitar Center store.
They will let you rock out
Great prices good people
Awesome staff always helpful!
Walked in on a Saturday morning, needing my axe for Sunday, I was having 'grounding issues...' Kent, the luthier is a #GodSend🙏🏿. He just went right into it, cleaned, tuned, polished, and re-strung my Fender Jazz Deluxe all right there in less than an hour, while having a room full of jobs to complete, he could've made me wait till next week, he definitely made a special accommodation for me, #RespecT ! I appreciate you guys! 💪🏿🙏🏿🤙🏿 Wealth of knowledge here, these guys are all super helpful also in health and technique if your having issues!
Was busy but they were nice and friendly.
Awesome store with very friendly employees!
Ask for Elijah... he knows his instruments and obviously loves music.
Nice staff, cool stuff!
Friendly folks, slightly slow, but that was probably just because the guy was new so no hard feelings.
Great staff, very helpful
My kids love this place
I wanted to purchase a new guitar from this place. Was looking for a Seagull and called the store to see if they had any - which they did. I went into the store and met Aiden, who is manages their lessons. He took me to the acoustic room and let me try out basically every single guitar they had that was in my price range as well as the Seagull that i originally called in for. Due to Philly's constantly changing winter temperature, some of their acoustic guitars didnt sound right and he kindly let me know which ones needed some work. After playing the Seagull rustic entourage for a bit, I decided to purchase it and Aiden helped me with all the accesories i needed and gave me information on the store's lesson plans(They are cheaper than every store near my location, and they also have the kind of music i want to learn)
It was a great experience, and I cant wait to do business with them again. Thanks a lot!!!
It was nice. it wasn't crowded and the staff were nice.
Had the strings and equipment I needed for my banjo.
I know... I know...I will eventually go back to playing.
Im a producer, need i say more 🤣 …
Great store helpful
Good selection, super accommodating staff.
Recommended.
Great customer service
Nothing too different, but very helpful staff.
One Complaint (of management) & One Compliment (of staff)

I suspect the staff is coached to pushed extended warranties - perhaps even multiple times. But for a solid body guitar? It's not an amp, having a hundred precise components and not always being transported in a case. If you're selling a solid guitar you think might actually 'break' in two years then dump the brand. I just don't think a Fender solid body guitar is going to stop working in 2, 5, or 25 years any more than my golf clubs will.
Compliment:
After struggling to find a comfortable semi-hollow electric guitar online I decided to compare as many as possible in person. Quickly offered help by a young rock gal (St. Vincent - Annie Clark) who knew her inventory as well as the world of guitars (she owns an impressive Thinline Tele' with P-90's, which I never knew even existed) and suggested several guitars with a thinner neck. We even made a little compare/contrast station making it easy to settle on a perfectly comfortable $200 Squire Tele ... an option I never really considered. Great great utility guitar.
Nice place. Not overly friendly though.
