Fantastic work. I never let ANYONE touch my Jackson Rhodes. However, I needed a setup and some general maintenance. Brilliant work. Reasonably priced. They'll be the only one's to touch this guitar moving forward.

The Ground Floor Guitar, located at 4009 Farnam Street, in Omaha, Nebraska, did ABOVE & BEYOND that today! Their hospitality, and true passion for their craft spoke volumes today. The patience and true sincerity that Johnny, Bill and Hank the Tank (the humane society dog that Johnny and his girlfriend rescued) showed my 80 year old father and I didn't go unnoticed. So if you're in the market for quality customer service from compassionate and knowledgeable enthusiasts the Ground Floor Guitar is definitely the place for you!

Awesome guitar shop here in Omaha! They've got a good selection of unique instruments and amps, plus a great atmosphere for when you're checking everything out. Everyone is really helpful and friendly. I had two guitars repaired here, and the work was done quickly and perfectly! Seriously, if you're a musician in the Omaha area for any reason you've got to check this place out.

Great place Amazing custom guitars, old guitars even has some vintage pro audio and keyboards. Johnny is verrry knowledgeable in both the vintage and modern set up of amps and guitars, always working on something when I go in. I was very pleased with this place, Johnny was very knowledgeable about fixing my guitar and selling me some strings that I wouldn’t normally buy but I’m glad i did! Thanks again sm!

The best guitar/amp store in Omaha and beyond! I've taken 5 guitars to Johnny for maintenance, repairs, and set-up, and I've been very impressed with his work. Add to that, he's a great guy. He is an artist and his work is of premier quality. He has been honest and ethical at all times. You never feel pressured or uncomfortable during your visit. He even took the time to show me phone apps that help tune guitars. I will definitely be back for my guitar needs! Cool little shop!

Johnny is an absolute dream of a business owner. He loves what he does, goes out of his way to help the customer, and most importantly...he knows his stuff! He has done repairs on 3 of my guitars, and the detail and work was A+. I have been playing for over twenty years, and there is nothing more enjoyable than coming into his shop. His inventory is filled with a mix of newer and vintage instruments, pedals, and amps all in phenomenal playing shape. This is the antithesis of a Guitar Center, but you can still get great affordable starter options for the novice too. Anyone who knows anything about guitars knows that Johnny is fair, honest, and an absolutely great human. Give him a visit and see for yourself!

Johnny and the staff at ground floor guitars are extremely polite, helpful and knowledgeable. If you’re looking for an experience uncommon to any music store (that I’ve frequented), do yourself a favor and check them out. They really listen to their clients, and they definitely want you to be happy with your purchases. You may enter the store a stranger, but you’ll leave a friend. I just can’t say enough good things about this place. Give it a try and you’ll agree!

Ground Floor Guitar is the best in the biz. Johnny's repair work is phenomenal and he takes the time to explain to you exactly what he's doing and why. If you want your instruments to play and feel better than they have in years, take them to Johnny! And if you're lucky enough to meet Hank the shop dog, well, that's just an added bonus.

Got to give a shout out where due... this is an awesome shop, Johnny is so nice and every time I go in have a nice chat and learn something. But more... brought my bass in for a setup and it's like a new guitar now, what was an instrument I wasn't sure about I think has just become my favorite and 'go to' which makes me really happy!

I brought in an Ibanez Iceman bass with the fret board delaminating from the neck at the headstock. He glued my neck back together and smoothed the area all out so it looks like nothing happened. He also reglued a knob back together, buffed the frets, oiled the fret board, set the action, adjusted the bridge contour to the neck contour, checked and tightened all hardware and electronics as well as cleaned and touched up electronics, adjusted the pickup height, and put new strings on it. He also filled in my nut with bone dust and glue and then filed it back down to the proper level for each string to save the nut but get the strings where they need to be. The action is the best it has ever been with no fret buzz and can be played slap and still sound great! I plan on taking all my guitars and basses there 1 by 1 over some time. The price he charged for strings and all that work was a great deal for all the hard work he put into it. This is a local business that provides above and beyond service and deserves local support! They have other custom pedal builds and amp services that I have not used yet, but you can see their work in the shop. I am also excited about the exotic pieces that move through the shop. Definitely worth a regular look if nothing else. Thanks to all the staff you guys are what a music shop should be! Cheers!

Ground floor guitars is close to my house so I wanted to try it out. I took in my Les Paul Special in for fret crowning and set up and when Johnny called and said it was ready,it played beautifully!!
