Great place, but for me now it is the best second option, I made a keyboard purchase as a gift for my daughter Christmas gift and it was almost a mess, new Keyboard PSR-E373 came as an open box product, music rest and owners manual doesn’t inside the box, was like a joke, then at the store they never answer the phone (customer service) and when I went there that was like an 1 hour just for ask about those things, then I was so lucky because the guy after a few minutes find just one package with music rest and owners manual, He never apologize and after that He just tried to sell me other things, that was really uncomfortable for me, wow! Bad experience for me, just 3 stars because the place.

The store was nice, clean, and they have a great selection! Definitely go here - (not Norman they had the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced)

Pretty cool place. I usually go there just to kill some time. Usually leave with guitar strings or something. Haven't bought any guitars there but they do have a good selection of new and used ones. They have a good selection of amps as well. I'm sure I'll eventually buy some gear there. The staff seems nice and knowledgeable.

Purchased a few Christmas gifts here. Loved staff. During holidays it is important to get more help...the lines were growing and overwhelming, however staff did their best to help everyone. Selection in products and prices were great.

Okc Guitar center has a nice selection of musical instruments and equipment. The deals on used keyboards are nice. The equipment is accurate and professional. As a keyboardist I appreciated the variety of digital pianos at a reasonable price. The store has a big selection of nice sheet music on clearance. My only suggestion for staff members is to be more polite with customers. Overall, I made note to visit this store. Keep up a good work.

I've always liked this store. It's been there forever. It's a Guitar Center, what's there not to like, lol. Service is always great and helpful. If you need help, just ask for it. I made a simple trip for a new amp cord and some picks. You're never in and out because you have to wonder around looking at the beautiful merchandise on the walls as well as the great deals. I dont think I could ever have enough money walking into a GC, I always want everything!!!

The guitar tec they have is probably one the best. I've had him set up a few guitars for me. He's always done a super job. Customer service is great. They replaced a guitar for me on warranty. Hassle free. The pro coverage is worth the money. I give a 5 star. Because the guitar tec is knowledgeable. He's fast. I rely on my equipment every Sunday morning. I've always had my guitars back before Sunday. In perfect working condition.

Traded 2 lower end guitars and was given a fair price. They showed what they were going to sell them for and how much they were giving me. I went in bound and determined to buy a entry level Taylor. The sales rep let me play a Taylor and then showed me a Yamaha that was around $100 cheaper. The yamaha played amazing and had more features. I'm grateful for his expertise and suggestion. I'm extremely happy with the Yamaha.

I wish I could remember the name of the guy who helped me (I want to say Hector?) But he was super helpful and took his time and was pretty thorough about explaining to what type of guitar would be best. Really pleased with my experience.

There was talk of GC causing Mom & Pop businesses to go under but this isn't entirely true. For the consumer, there is a ton of used gear that goes through here and they have always been honest with me, regarding a problem with a guitar. This used black Charvel I got from them when they opened was a great deal. This Martin USA Martin D-1 was a heck of a find. This 1987 JCM800 was also a rare item. I purchased it not working and repaired it. I also like being able to make purchases late in the evening and on weekends; however I still frequent small shops as well.

I've purchased a lot gear from Guitar Center over the years and have always been happy with my purchases. I recently bought a Martin guitar and want to thank Adam K for helping me to find it. He definitely did a great job answering my questions, offering advice, and making the whole experience seamless. I have always enjoyed guitar center and it's ability to introduce myself and others to the giant world of instruments. I've been able to finger guitars that I've only read about and found others if never even had of but those days are different. Unfortunately fine are the days of unlocked guitars. I understand completely as damage hinders a sale as well as theft but it was a nice and generous benefit for anyone that has utmost respect and care for someone else's property especially a beautiful or not so beautiful guitar. Another sign is the condition of the Hanger's. They need to fix the condition of the hardware the guitars are hanging from. The foam has work at on most and it's causing damage to necks and headstocks.

Did not have a salesperson that knew anything about their products. And as every time before, was asked to come back another day. That's weak! Came in again and no one spoke with me. So I called Musicians Friend and ordered the guitar 🎸 and the Akai MPC X at a discount. Saved myself around $700 overall and receive personalized care and service.

GC is a nice place to go to look at all the nice shiny stuff and they have a decent selection in various price ranges. It's about on par with other "big-box" music stores. You're not going to find anything rare in there. And if you're left-handed, you're kinda outta luck at finding anything in stock. Their service staff is friendly, fairly knowledgeable but highly overworked and understaffed. Repair and maintenance is only fair and overpriced. Good place for general accessories. I kind of feel like it's the Walmart of music stores.

Same as always. What you want is probably not in stock, even if the website says so. If you order online in the morning, they'll get around to picking your product for pickup the next day. Must be a tough job. Also, even if your are popping in to pick up a quick item, and they actually have it in stock, it will take at least 30 minutes to check out, so 8t is good to not be in a hurry. Not because you get lost browsing all the goods, but because that is how long it will take for one person to service a line of people while everyone else acts (poorly) busy or has to wait for a manager to unlock something. A better system is needed. Sad that this mega corp has destroyed the local music instrument stores and relies on bankruptcy reorgs and bail outs, but can't even provide decent service

Larger than the GC in Norman - better stock all around. Employee was friendly and knowledgeable. My experiences with GC Online/Corporate have been extremely poor but this location was pretty solid. Pandemic restrictions have eased so you're able to go in and browse around. GC experiences tend to vary pretty heavily based on the sales floor employees you run into so take this with a grain of salt. Loving my new Starcaster.

Guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, drums & percussion, dj equipment (even some vinyl), amps, pedals, dang near anything you can imagine ( even thought I seen a dijeroo (?). They have an awesome selection of instruments even if your taste ends with guitar, you will most likely find what you need or want. They also sell accessories that are music related, but don't expect a hot topic shopping experience. It's sooo much better.

I ordered a PRS from this location. I called and discussed the guitar with the staff and received the guitar in better condition than I expected after a bad experience with the Colorado Springs location. I even requested additional protection in the box because my UPS guy can destroy anything. It took me a solid 5 minutes to get all of the bubble wrap off. Thank you, guys! The customer service is usually overwhelmed by many and not enough salesmen to get you in and out quickly,but overall when you get your turn they're attentive and help out or will find out the info or products you're looking for! I shop here quite frequently and of course the longer you patronize a place you become acquainted with the sales reps as they do with you, the prices are fair and selection is usually good and like most places covid has created a shortage of supplies because of transit and shipping logistics so sometimes a wait is involved,go check em out if you haven't,and if you're into playing instruments besides brass band equipment I'd recommend this company to anyone who hasn't ventured there !

I will say though that they have Unfortunately made their book and magazine area considerably Smaller. Like a small closet. I used to be able to go there and get books on theory and learn to play books on any instruments made. Not now. It's sad because I'm a old hands on type of customer. My online purchase was great except for shipping cost.

Dear lord do I absolutely love this place, looks small from the outside but is absolutely huge on the inside, they have everything you can ask for and if your lucky and also play left handed you might find a guitar that fits your need, and their room with the expensive guitars is absolutely beautiful they surprisingly have an 8-string along side a bunch of original fender stratocaster

Some guy helped me get a new interface. He didn't tell me his name. He was very helpful. Their buyer protection program is sort of whack, you have to wait for the item to ship to you and send back your item that's not working. They don't just replace it in store.

It's a pretty nice Guitar Center with a decently sized selection. They even have some extended range guitars, which you don't always find at other, smaller locations. The staff is friendly enough without being intrusive. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5, is because the day I went in most recently none of the keyboard displays were working and some of the electronic drum displays weren't working either. I understand that those things get used heavily, but it's a bummer when you're actually shopping those items and not just in there to play with them for fun. Otherwise, it's a good store.

Other than a few less than friendly (they can be pretty apathetic) staff it's a great store. Lots of merchandise that's reasonably priced. I buy all of my basic requirements such as strings conditioners tables pics and things of that nature there. They even sometimes have some some used items that may be refurbished may not be but are usually in pretty decent condition.

Great staff, excellent selection. I bought a guitar a few years back, it was used but had all the features I was looking for and they was reasonable on the price. More recently, I got to experience the online order side of the store as I got a brand new violin. They was thorough to go over the products quality and materials used, after all you do get what you pay for. My item shipped free and was there a day earlier, despite the major ice storm that followed Black Friday! Email told me where it was the whole time until arrival.

I came into store looking for a small audio that had a USB interface. I very polite young helped me. I appreciated that he not bashful to give me his opinion on the equipment and how it is used. I learned some new things as well as left with quality equipment that fit my application.

They have the stock where the local shops might not. I tried all the local shops to find a pedal and finally broke down and went to GC. It is just too busy and takes too long for me. The staff is usually running around to busy too help (not their fault, they are working hard). Not sure how to fix this.

I had purchased an Epiphone Sheraton II pro from Guitar Center, online, when this pandemic began. I had the strings replaced last year but it just didn't play right for me....too hard to push down on the frets. Today I went in and problem solved by the repair center. Apparently they lowered my strings and now the guitar has become playable for me. Thank you.

I've gone here a lot over the years just to browse and see what's new. Long ago I bought some dj items, a mixer and some cd-j's back when they were kinda new to the scene. Prices were always decent and on par with most online options from other options. It's sometimes hard to get some service when they're overwhelmed by crowds. Great place for everything music related though!

After talking to their sales staff they are not finished putting the store back together. Acoustic room was one of the areas unfinished. Gotta love a trip to Guitar Center! Where else can actually pick up an instrument (off the main wall) and test out what kind of guitar, keyboard, Dj interfaces, producer interfaces, etc. They still have a few of the sales people from the store before the re-design of the location. Best part if they are all attentive and not pushy at all, for a place where I think they earn spiffs/percentage of the instrument sales.

Look at the used gear prices most pawn shops don't even sell that cheap. I have been going there for year's and I like it. New item's are usually what it sells on ebay new. Good store for a corporate guitar shop.

Bought a 2009 American Strat in perfect condition there for $549.00! It's gorgeous and plays at light speed! I always have good experiences at GC, but the OKC store has an extra measure of customer care like most business establishments in OKC. I was going to get a new one for about $1000 and then saw a beautiful one hanging on the used rack so I checked it out. With the 549 price I was certain it was a MIM Strat. Wrong! It was USA! I have around 20 electric guitars but this one is my favorite!
