Edmond Music is the BEST! They are always so friendly and helpful. Both of my kids play instruments, but my husband and I do not - so we’re always a little lost when it comes to getting the right equipment and materials for their school and recreational playing. The entire staff is always ready to assist. Their selection is huge and they’ve been able to special order the few things I’ve wanted that they didn’t carry - and they have fantastic prices, too. Wish I could give them more stars, we love this place!

What a great shop! I came in to trade in a few guitars and to buy my first nice, big boy guitar today and Taylor couldn't have been any more helpful. He put up with me wanting to play different guitars over and over again and offered great insight and advice. This place gives fair prices on trade ins too! Outstanding experience trading in my daughter’s first violin and purchasing a step-up violin. Aaron was great throughout the process. He talked us through the price ranges and then tuned eight violins for her to play to figure out which one she liked the best. The entire thing took around an hour, to include answering all of our questions and going over the details of our new purchase. We have had great experiences with the Larsen Music store over the past 4 years and will continue to recommend them to anyone interested in instruments and music.

Da bomb! Ah-mazing! I was visiting at OU Edmond hospital. I couldn't go do anything, and I had noticed this place on the drive in. Where I actually live is a vast music store wasteland, so I was very excited. A couple of days ago I spent quite a bit of time filling up my "cart" with music, which then promptly disappeared. I messaged, and Steve messaged me back. Go see Steve... He's great! He went way, way above and beyond the call of duty. He helped me with an order yesterday, and shipped it. It's here today. Go to Edmond Music for your music needs. You will be happy you did.

Gilliam Music in Norman was so great with our original purchase of a 1/2 size violin in 2018. We used the Repair and Replacement Coverage so that we could exchange for a bigger size as my daughter grew. So today we did our final exchange up to a full size violin. Very happy with their service.

What can you say about customer service? I was looking around and had reached out to a few shops with the usual response. Called Edmond Music, Susan answered the phone and was awesome from the get go. Checked the item I was looking at, took time to answer my questions, super nice. One can always shop online for musical instruments but you won’t get the experience of talking with an associate in person and trying the instruments and other equipment before a purchase. I recently purchased an amplifier from Edmond Music and the whole experience was exceptional. Tony is very knowledgeable about amplifiers and isn't pushy. He guides you along the decision making process. I was able to sample many different models. Their prices can’t be beat either! I highly recommend this store for all things musical.

Wow! How exciting it was to find a music store that actually had sheet music and books that you could pick up and touch. The gentleman at the store was very knowledgeable and very helpful. Edit-The owners did reach out. For some reason my messages weren't delivered and they are doing everything possible to remedy the situation so it doesn't happen in the future, so they are making an effort to correct things. Offered a free setup on my new guitar. Will give them another chance in the future. Do believe it was a technical issue. Sent a request if they could order a guitar from Gibson for me. They did respond and I was told they could. When I responded with the model I was interested in I never got a response back. I sent another message to see if the got the information I sent, again no response. Sweetwater.com got the $5,000 sale. Very disappointed they never responded, apparently Edmond Music isn't interested in making sales.

Great place to go if you need anything for band instruments. I play several words and they have always had what I needed. The staff are great and knowledgeable. The sheet music selection is great, and the prices are fairly reasonable. Sure, you could buy it on Amazon for a few dollars cheaper, but it's worth the few extra pennies to go here.

Hands-down best music store in OKC!! They've been around for 20+ years and their staff know ALL aspects of music, and know what makes a quality instrument. They don't deal in gimmicky toys, so go to the chain stores for that, but if you want high-end instruments, check out EM for sure! I make look elsewhere or online, but then I order from EM because they stand behind their sale and give support long after. Seriously, these guys know their stuff. They can order anything they don't have in floor stock, and are always competitive on price. I don't know why some people had a bad experience, maybe they're not used to being in a store where people actually LOVE music?? EM doesn't try to "sell" you anything. If you have a question, just ask, but they don't bug you and they understand making decisions on instrument purchases shouldn't be rushed. I guess everyone can have a bad day, but I personally love the staff at EM! Very knowledgeable and honest, they tell you how it is. I wouldn't BUY anywhere else. Thanks EM!!! You guys rock!

Their work is the character jewel and in the time of dire straits a professional is needed to take care of the immediate technical needs. Edmond Music has been my hub for any musical knowledge base answer, idea or process in my imagination. Will this set-up work? Can it be done live on stage? What pedal is used to get this sound? It feels good to have musicians working with musicians to make music. There is no substitute for the opinion, suggestion or input of a musician who has played live. These guys are real, if you have a technical problem with an instrument they will troubleshoot and give a honest, straight forward conclusion to enhance any studio, live or practice set. We've purchased (actually, still in the process of purchasing one) a few instruments here, oodles of accessories, music, reeds, repairs, etc. After all is said and done, we will have plunked down a decent sum of cash. Typically, I do research online (typically Amazon), find what we want, and then go and purchase it at Edmond Music (often for a higher price) because I want to support local businesses. But, I don't feel that that effort is always appreciated here. I have dealt with some lovely, pleasant people here. But, more than just a few times, I have walked out being made to feel like a musically-challenged dunce. I may not be a musician and may actually be REALLY musically-challenged and there just buying instruments and accessories for my child, but that's no reason to be curt and/or condescending. A little patience and courtesy would go a long way in keeping customers like us parents who are willing to lay down cash for our children's music education.

I'm a local piano teacher, and a former employee of Edmond Music. This is a family owned business, with great people who know their stuff. As a piano teacher, I love their sheet music selection! They deal with all the major publishers (and many of the smaller ones!) and can order things super fast, not to mention having access to stock at their other locations in Norman and OKC. They also give discounts on sheet music to teachers and college students, so thats pretty awesome. They carry an excellent selection of big names in guitars, pianos and accessories for all instruments. They rent instruments for school bands. They are equipped to repair, advise and refer, and there's even a studio full of qualified private teachers if you want guitar or drum lessons. One of the only truly full-service music stores in the state!

In a world of big franchise retailers driving down prices with quanity I still choose to spend my money in a place where the sales people are educated in the product and the craft.
