I received free tickets (non-priority) for a show on thursday. I arrived 45min prior to entrance time, and did not make the cut!!! Fortunately, the staff was great and told me that I would receive an email for a future show. I received the email and complimentary priority tickets shortly thereafter. The wait however was almost excruciatingly long, however, the ladies on The View and the whole experience made it well worth it!

I don't like that they take people who don't have tickets and close out the people that do. If it's first come first serve then say that. I didn't like the prolonged standing either. When I went to another show, they had seats for us. Otherwise, the show itself was great and the ladies were lovely.

This is a fun experience but there's a lot of waiting involved. I got there at 8am, the show only starts at 11am. Upon arrival, you're seated in a cafeteria with a Starbucks for about an hour or so. Once they're ready to start, you're ushered into the studio about an hour before they go live. Sadly, there's not much interaction with the hosts. It's really cold in the studio so take a sweater if you get a chance to go.

what an experience. you have to get there early to be able to be allowed inside the studio. to get on the show is actually a lot of sitting around and waiting... but it is worth it. inside the studio they have a private Starbucks so even if you have to be there early don't hesitate you can definitely get your coffee fix along with breakfast. they sell merchandise for the view inside the show nothing really caught my eye but you pay for it and come back and get it after the show. the seating for the view is very comfortable and the comedian that they have to get you all energized and pumped up with your inside the actual show area was awesome. now the guy before the show telling you all the rules having to get in line to go to the bathroom being asked weird trivia questions I think he thought he was funny but everybody that I was around mostly women we all thought that he was a little over-the-top and not so funny...it was a great experience now we came having gotten passes online beforehand and found out once we were there that there is a line that you can get in to be allowed in the show and many people just did that as a whim and were allowed in they just let the people with passes in first. Joy, Meghan, Anna, Abby and the guest host was Al Roker's wife... I can't remember her name...had great chemistry and the show was really fun to watch you've got to love Joy and her one liners crack me up! the guest was the woman playing Cher in the play share story everyone in the audience was given a pair of tickets to the play. Her voice is amazing and so very much like Cher.

Truly worth it! We had a great time. Being in the audience was an enlightening experience. The guests and the subject matter were very relevant. My favorites on the panel are Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar. They are two great commentators. Thanks for the giveaways too, they are a bonus to a good day.

Looooved it! We had so much fun! The comedian that warms up the crowd does a great job. Of course the studio is a bit snug but it's NY for one and that's typically how studios are. We had a great view from our seat in the top right corner but I wouldn't mind a from facing seat next time. You should go and "take a little time to enjoy the View!" (Had to to do 😊)

Too much waiting!! You stand in line from 30 mins. to an hour on the outside just to get in. Then you stand in line another 30 mins to an hour before you are seated. Once seated the hostess gives instructions for another 30 mins while interacting with the audience.

It was a very fun experience being there at the view! The backstage time can be a bit annoying and the security people really need better customer service skills. Other than that, it was a fun experience!

Loved this show!! The best time was when we had the commercial breaks, they had a comedian who was always present in the audience. She kept the audience going, with audience members singing, dancing, and cracking jokes. It was another show within itself. I had a great time. I was also impressed with the professionalism of the show, how they greeted us and how organized they were. I can't wait to visit again.

Everything about going to see the View was great...we were treated so well from the moment we got in line to the moment we were seated in the audience! Even the Comedian Regina DeCicco who kept the audience entertained during commercials was just fabulous!!! All around fantastic show!

Very friendly staff and security people. Had a Starbucks so we could get coffee and food before show. Enjoyed seeing the ladies of the View. All seemed very much. Meghan McCain ask audience some questions during break. She is actually prettier in person. Whoopie smiled a lot during break as well. Great fun. Glad I went.

I had a wonderful time with friends and enjoyed our surprise guest Janet Jackson who gave the entire audience 2 tickets to her show on July 14th at Madison Square Garden! The ladies were great and informative as always. The stay is very well organized in getting you seated before the show, taking you to and from the rest room and getting you seated in the studio. I look forward to the next visit.

I requested tickets 3 to 4 weeks prior to the show date and received “priority” tickets. That means you should definitely get in as long as you’re on time for your time slot. Entrance is staggered with priority first, followed by general admission. After going through security, we were able to sit in a nice seating area and use the restroom. The area had a Starbucks and photo op space. We were also provided complimentary juice. Upon being seated in the studio, a hypeman/comedian prepared us for taping. She was funny and entertaining. During the taping, there’s a huge camera that moves back and forth. It unfortunately blocked our view at certain points, but we were still able to see pretty good. During commercial breaks, the hosts did not interact with the crowd. I wasn’t surprised, but some type of acknowledgment would have been nice. With the show being a live taping, we were ushered out as soon as the show ended. Overall, it was a great experience! This was one of those “you have to do it once” things. The studio is super close to Central Park, so it’s a good idea to check them both out on the same day.

It's great even as a local to attend a show at least once to actually see what goes on and how the process works. Some studios have a seamless and wonderful staff. Other studios may be a little more rushing not really have a care for audience members experience they just want seats filled for shooting. Either way it is great to be able and immense yourself for free, see, observe and learn what you are able to in media and live showings. I would highly highly recommend Kelly and Ryan show. From every level of staff member security, videographers, greeters to Gelman himself are amazing people and have done by far probably one of the best experiences an audience member can have out of any show you are able to attend. The View is great. And a nice comparison to be able and see what drastic differences the two shows have. I am only comparing these two shows because it again is a great comparison of differences in how two shows are run.

I had a wonderful celebrating my daughters birthday. I was down front were I had a great VIEW. The cast was great, staff and guest host.. They were very attentive and patient. I didn't when the 5,000(lol). Thanks I will be coming back again!!!!

All the hosts were super friendly (including Meghan). Unlike other shows where the audience is awaiting outside the building to get a seat into the studio, we waited at the cafeteria and could make purchases (Starbucks and merchandise). During commercial breaks, the hosts interacted with the audience and answered questions very candidly. I'd recommend it to other NYC visitors.

Show was good. Wish the hosts interacted with the audience more during breaks. Be prepared to sit around for an hour+ before entering the studio. Priority passes only means you get in the door first, not seating.

I love the way topics are introduced and everyone at the table has their chance to have their say. The View is my favorite daytime talk show. I actually tape it every day and watch it daily. The only down side is Megan McCain. She is very bright, but gets too defensive which brings on a very negative vibe to the show. Im glad Joy and the other panelist dont allow her to get to them.

Fun audience experience! We were able to grab a few warm drinks at Starbucks during a snowy morning, so that was a plus! We stayed warm in the ABC studio cafeteria while we waited for our taping.

Went to Montels (long ago)& everytime was FUN!! 2019, Despite bad weather trekked to The VIEW only to be greeted by a very rude, & dismissive blonde at The VIEW door, [that she opened looking for arriving guests] & despite the fact They sent CONFIRM just the day b4! She turned me away with a "what kind of ticket do you have, well we reached capacity already". No room for 1 more!! No MORE tries to see Their VIEW!! NO FUN
