Mr Randy the owner leaves his shoes at the door, but brings his loving personality inside with him! BEST MUSIC STORE ON THE NORTH SHORE! He’s a barefoot bandit and will give u his honest opinion on what he uses or would do for your instrument! They have TONS of gear here! From Drums, Acoustic Guitars, Electric Guitars, Symbols, to accessories! A great place to visit or just hangout! They have a small selection of used guitars upstairs and a soundproof hall for learning to play! See pictures for all of the above!

Lanier music is one of those special places that are difficult to find these days. They are kind, welcoming, and display a genuine love of what they do. They have gone above and beyond my expectations and demonstrated remarkable kindness to not only me, but my son as well. If you are a musician you owe it to yourself to visit their business. They not only have just about everything you could need, but work to make sure you’re happy with your purchase. Every time I visit I am greeted with a smile and am never pressured to purchase anything (although I always find something I can’t live without). I cannot recommend them higher.

I stopped in today while I was in town for a project and spent some time with Randy. The store is awesome, especially for drummers. He has the perfect mix of new and vintage instruments and everything in between. Great experience and great conversation. Will definitely go back next time I’m in the area!

I had an amazing experience! I went looking for a mic piece after a long day of searching, called and I believe I spoke to the owner which was extremely nice on the phone! So I decided to go there! Got there he helped me and was so wonderful! He made my day so much better and has a beautiful store! If you are looking for quality experience or a beautiful instrument this is the place to go!

We have been customers of this store for years, we have 2 band kids. This is a great local small business. They will spend time and help you get the equipment you need and they tune and set it up before you leave the store. You may spend a couple dollars more then what Amazon has it for but you know what you are getting and these people stand behind what they sell. Check them out for any instruments or music needs.

Randy Lanier taught my son to play drums over twenty years ago. His personal interest in teaching makes his business far more appealing than those who merely sell music equipment. His store in Mandeville has the widest selection, and best support for the beginner to professional musician. I will never shop anywhere else.

Family owned, small music stores are a dying breed. Randy and his wife Lanel own one of the best in SE Louisiana. When you walk in, you feel like you are in a place that loves helping people who want to play music, not like some mass retailer that only cares if you left with less money you came in with. They have a wide variety of musical instruments and equipment, most anything you need you'll find some version of there. Most of all, you won't feel like you are being sold to, but rather you'll feel like you've been helped by someone who cares more that you got what you were looking for, and that you'll leave ready to play some music. It's a refreshing feeling to do business with people like Randy and his wife. They will be happy just to talk, if that's all you want to do. But you'll probably be inspired by something they have in stock too.

Ive spent an entire career shopping at Randy's store and have never once been disappointed ! Randy has bent over backwards so many times to help me ... even to the point of calling his competitor's at times , when he didn't have what I needed at the moment.
