Rumble Seat Music is a very special place. When I'm in Nashville, my wife drops me off there where I can be around and perhaps grab up something. There are so many wonderful Rock and Roll working artifacts of investment quality here. Elliot really takes things in the vintage guitar world to a whole new level and Tobin is absolutely the man. - JW

Probably the nicest vintage guitar store east of the Mississippi. Been doing business with Eliot and his staff for nearly 30 years. First class establishment.

This vintage music store was a work of art, a one of kind, and a must visit for guitar connoisseurs. The staff was incredibly kind to my annoying little self. Their stock of guitars is just incredible, a wide variety of amazing guitars with more than just the looks, they have phenomenal feel, as well as a very broad price range, and even those at the lowest end of their prices (around $1000) were no worse than those higher price ranges, I wish that I could have bought one so bad, if only I had a bit of money saved up. I wish yall the best of luck in visiting this store. ROCK ON!!!

It was time for my son to purchase his first Strat. Right when we entered Rumble Seat we were greeted by Keith. He showed us a few of the gems that were being carefully exhibited and then let us look around to see if anything fit. Long story short, my son purchased what seemed to be the holy grail of guitars, and he couldn’t be happier or more inspired by his vintage axe. Thank you Keith and Rumble Seat Music. Beautiful shop, incredible selection and great team.

Tiago was great! Very gracious with his time and super friendly attitude. Very wise in his advice to us tourists and greeted us to Nashville with a warm welcome. 10/10 — PS, I’ll be BACK for that McCarty hollowbody ✌🏼 …

Absolutely one of the coolest guitar shops in Nashville. Do yourself a favor and stop in if you're in the area.

Friendly staff, inviting smiles. Tons of things to look at in this place. I don't play guitar but I still found some of the history fascinating.

Doug Jarrell did a full tune up on my acoustic and it plays better than new. Even adjusted the action and a few high frets free of charge. Highly recommend!

Rumble Seat is like half music store, half museum. Super nice staff and drool-inducing guitars and equipment

Just a really neat place! Tons of Marshall stacks (not for sale), famous Fender Strat's, and Gibson Les Pauls'! Very cool piece of history.

For my trip to Nashville with my dad, I went to the newly opened Gibson Garage. In addition to planning to go to that store, I was looking for another local guitar shop to go to and I found this one. The main reason I picked this shop over other guitar stores was because it has a real 1959 Gibson Les Paul Standard, which is my dream guitar. Walking inside the store, I only expected to just look at it in a display case. To my surprise, one of the employees there took it out of the display case and let me hold on to it, and even play it! I never thought that I would play such a valuable guitar, even for a little bit. The employees there are very nice and didn’t mind at all that my original intention was to go to their store just to look at one guitar. They have more vintage guitars and amps as well. If you want to look at some truly amazing and very special guitars that you cannot find anywhere else and even get the chance to play some, then I highly recommend visiting this store.

Walking around this place made me want to take some money out of savings. What a cool store. Very nice vintage gear as well as high end Custom Shop Fenders and Gibsons. The owner and employees were super nice and chatted and build a rapport with me, knowing I wasn't going to spend thousands of dollars in there. For that, I'd go back with cash to burn. Great store, great atmosphere, nice people.

Great place! It’s a smaller store for sure, but it’s got al the stuff you WANT to see in a store. Lots of historic pieces by all the big players - Gibson, Fender Marshall, etc - and they all RIP! I played the BEST tele I’ve ever played in my life there - a ‘66 in candy apple red. If I had the coin, I would have tossed my money at them and made off post-haste with that beauty! The staff was amazing too! Very friendly and happy to help me find the gear of my dreams! This place is a staple and you’d really be cheating yourself if you passed them by!

My husband and I were visiting Nashville to see Eric Clapton in concert. While in town we stopped by Rumble Seat and Keith Gregory was so amazing to talk to. He really knew his stuff and had some great stories to tell about many of the guitars on display. It was a really great experience, especially after having stopped in at Carter Guitar earlier and receiving terrible customer service. Thank you Keith for all your help!
Rachel Rice
Such a cool guitar store! We didn’t buy anything, but one of the guys working (maybe the owner) showed us all of the guitars played by different famous guitarists!

Awesome store with vintage guitars and amps. The staff is pretty awesome, too. Only place during the trip so far where we bought souvenir tshirts.

I went in there with my songwriter cousin who is obsessed with instruments. She taught me about a lot of the different guitars and some other things in there. To me, the prices seem outrageous, but she told me that that's how much these types of things cost. The people who work there were very helpful and I had a nice experience with the people working there, the store itself, and learning new things about something I knew very little of. It was kind of cool.

The guitars this place has is mind blowing. I've seen these guitars in magazines and books. I've dreamed about them. Now, after coming to this place, I've seen them and because of the amazing people who work here, I even got to play them. I have the fact that I cannot give this store even more stars than I have.

Genuinely lovely people who sell genuinely badass gear. Two guitars and two amps in I gotta say I've never been better treated at a guitar store. They also know what's what across genres, it's not just one thing.
