I love this drum store! I just bought my second kit from Nelson's, and I couldn't be happier. The service and care these guys provide is like none other. This is THE place for vintage drums, fantastic service, and a great community. I've never felt more welcome and at home in a music store than I do here. Keep doing what you are doing!

I went to Nelson Drum Shop for the first time in January. I expected a shop filled with drums, but it was more a building filled with love and care for a community and vibe. The drums came secondary. They could be selling car mufflers and I would probably buy them, based on the friendliness of everyone there. Make no mistake of it, however, their drum collection was insane!!! But my goodness, the vibe, friendly staff and overall environment was one I will cherish forever. Cheers, Bryson and crew, on a beautiful space and culture you have established.

Easily my favourite drum shop I’ve ever found. After following these guys on Instagram for a while now, I finally had the chance to stop in when I was passing through Nashville. I must say, the shop in person is even more amazing than I had imagined. Next time I am in Nashville this is the first stop I’m making. Picked up a new snare and some random gear and the staff were great and helpful. Wish I could give 6 stars.

While visiting Nashville from NC, we stayed in East Nashville. When driving around, I saw Nelson’s and decided to pop in. As a drummer myself, I always enjoy music stores that are solely dedicated to one instrument. This place was fantastic and the staff were engaging and friendly. I also loved seeing true vintage 1920 era kick drums, along with their larger cymbal selection. This is a hidden gem, and while I didn’t leave with anything more than a few t-shirts, I’d highly recommend this place to any local drummers.
