can't believe I had never been here before. I was at Electric Fetus the other day looking for metal records and was extremely underwhelmed by their selection. I found this place on google and decided to check it out, exactly the kind of stuff I was looking for. awesome shop.

One of the best Punk/Metal Record stores I have ever been in. They have great prices and great records! They have the A-B-C's of Punk AND Metal! They also have a good selection of pins, shirts, patches, and CDs, but I go (mostly) for the 5 for $3 EP bin in the back. Still this Record is my favorite and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get some great deals on some LPs and EPs. (EDIT) Also the only place in Minnesota (I think) that sells Spikes.

I love this shop! Best place in town for metal and punk, but they are far from a one trick pony. Their used vinyl section is always filled with surprises and the pricing is great. I have only left empty handed one time, always something to pique the vinyl lovers interest.

Extremely cool punky record store, and the only place I have ever found Special Effects hair dye brand on retail! Huge selection with some ultra rare old records for sale as well. Massive patch collection. Tons of buttons. This place is very fun to visit and the staff, who are all volunteers, are really really cool.

If you Googled Extreme Noise, you already know you're going to find something worth your while here. So, I'm going to skip the review of their music selection. The staff of volunteers have the job of making sure that only four, PROPERLY masked customers are in the store at once. And they do it really well. Even when there is a line of people outside (and on a weekend there will be) staring in at them. Be kind to them, this is not always as easy as it sounds. I don't really shop anywhere except the grocery store, and I feel very safe shopping here. It's worth the wait!

Still in awe of how great this shop is. Amazing selection of shirts, records, cds, tapes and pins covering a myriad of different punk/metal genres. If you’re into heavy music you will no doubt find something here for you. Not only is the selection awesome, the staff is super friendly and approachable as well. I plan on stopping here every time I find myself in Minneapolis.
