The owner was amazing!! She was able to answer all of our questions. She really seems to care about the student development and not just selling the most expensive stuff. The store is wonderfully unique! Definitely worth checking out. They are appointment only and that is so worth it!

She knows her stuff!! We had a cello that made vibrating sounds, she found a few seams letting loose that had been repaired by another company. She also spent time with us explaining bows and strings that would work well together. Highly recommend.

I truly love this place! She gave me a really good deal on a violin on which she didn't have to but because of my special circumstance she did it out of the kindness of her heart. She has gained a customer and I recommend her for anything, anyone needs regarding any of her services. She is is the best in the city.

I've visited Korinthia on a number of occasions over the past couple of years, and every single time, she has treated me with such care and does not let me walk away without ensuring I am satisfied with my instrument. I love what she does and cannot thank her enough for how much she's done for me. Comparing her prices to Brass Bell or White House of Music is just a joke; not only are the big stores horribly overpriced, but they've consistently cut corners on instrument repair. Anyone would be a fool not to go to her.

Excellent service and a deep understanding of string instruments. This shop outclasses Cascio Interstate Music, White House of Music, and the Brass Bell for quality of repair of violins, violas, and cellos. This is the place to go for student string instrument rentals accessories, and purchases. Not sure if this is the best string shop in the Midwest, but it definitely is the best in Milwaukee and Wisconsin.

Korinthia offered unbiased advice and earnestly took an interest in my musical endeavors. The studio has a rental program with excellent rates for students; I rented for two years and bought my rental today. The staff are honest, supportive, and generous with time and knowledge. I am moving out of state and will miss having this resource nearby.

Korinthia is very knowledgeable and does outstanding work. I've been playing violin for 20 years and haven't had my instrument checked out by a luthier in about 15 years (most public schools don't teach you the importance of this growing up!) She very thoroughly inspected my entire violin and bow, installed an LR Baggs pick up for me (I play in a band with loud drums), and lent me a loaner violin to practice with until mine was ready. It took less than a week! I can honestly say my violin has never sounded better. I highly recommend Korinthia!

I was invited to do a presentation on my career, music and life at two HS’s in Milwaukee. It was set up at the last minute and I had no violin. I had called friends that might be able to lend me a violin to play but no response. I called them after googling violin shops and sent them an email. Korinthia responded immediately and was able to lend me a violin, bow and shoulder rest. I was very grateful and she was totally cool about it. And they have these manhasset stands in a plethora of colors (I chose purple for my cousin who also plays violin) and I found a play on air shoulder rest I used to use and bought it. All in all this shop really supports players and helped me out in a jam. In addition she has two books one of which I look forward to reading.

Swift, cheerful, friendly service. Had a bow rehaired here for a very reasonable price. Would certainly recommend for rehairs and minor repairs, they also rent and sell!
